I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1393 19.52 Second Red Star - The Octopus Kingʼs Ending.

The scene mirrored like a dead sea, which made Leng Jun uncomfortable. Itʼs not like he hasnʼt seen death of any kind. Due to his former job as a Special Forces agent, death is already common in his eyes. Even the death of humans is something he is used to, but witnessing this kind of massacre with his own eyes is a different story. He had witnessed that evil power devouring everything alive.

It ignores their screams, cries of pain, and even their distorted expressions at the end, as they were eaten alive. There was not even a trace or a drop of blood left behind.

Everything was eaten together with all the other living things in the vicinity. It ate all the things with life in the sea. This includes the plants in the sea and some creatures who were only there to watch. After the feast had ended, there were no longer any traces of life in the part of the sea where Purplish Black had feasted. There is only silence and a feeling of emptiness and desolation.

The kind of silence that made oneʼs ears deaf.

Leng Jun, who chased after the power of gluttony he had released, was dumbfounded at the site of emptiness on the way, and when he reached the location where the power was still feasting upon something, he was shocked to see the aura split into a dragon-shaped purplish black aura, and it was not only stronger but also bigger than when he first released it.

At this moment, the power of gluttony he has released is fighting with the overlord of the Frozen Sea. The illusionary Kraken, the Ice Elemental Octopus King. The latter looks completely miserable. The power of gluttony increases the more it eats. On the way, this power had eaten almost half of the sea elementals and sea creatures living under the sea.

Now its size had grown to be huge enough to fight against a colossal being like the Ice Elemental Octopus King.

[What the hell is this thing?? The more it is cut, the more it increases in number. It doesnʼt even die. Hiss! Itʼs eating me! Argh!

You damn hybrid! What the hell did you release into the sea?]

The Ice Elemental Octopus King shouted when he noticed Leng Jun watching from above the surface of the frozen sea. He himself was terrified by the scene he was witnessing. He couldnʼt understand why those small dragon-shaped auras he had released would suddenly get this big.

Frowning, Leng Jun mumbles, ”Does it get stronger the more it eats? Just how much has it eaten to get this big?”

Even though Leng Jun felt sympathy towards the Ice Elemental Octopus Kingʼs state, it didnʼt stop the gluttony from feasting on it. This is an Elemental King who abhors the human race, much more than the other Elemental Kings on the land. It was born with a cruel personality, and its ability is similar to that of the gluttony that was eating him slowly but surely.

He had eaten a lot of his kind before he was transformed by the ice aura that entered the Federation Star, turning him into an ice elemental king.

[I donʼt accept this! Why would those weak humans stand above us who live in the sea? Their territory is bigger than the land, and their only advantages are the weapons they wield. So, I killed all those humans who trespassed in the sea after I became an elemental and used them as food to increase my strength. Why is this power stronger than my eating ability? I canʼt accept this!

I cannot!!!]

The Ice Elemental Octopus King struggles with the gluttony that is hovering over him. He lost at least half of his eight tentacles, and that damn aura still continues to feast on its body. He noticed Leng Junʼs direction and stretched out his remaining tentacles, wanting to capture him alive. He was, after all, the one who had released such evil power.

Leng Jun noticed the hidden moves the Ice Elemental Octopus King had made. He had the feeling of being targeted. So as soon as he saw the tentacles moving faster towards where he was, he made a move to live. After living in this body for a few weeks, he noticed that he had full control over the power of fire in his heart.

It could change shape by his will, but he never tried it before, as a lot of things had happened before he could explore his abilities that came from Chuchuʼs bloodline.

[You damn Hybrid! Even if I am going to die, I will drag you with me!]

Leng Jun runs above the frozen ground as the tentacles around him move around, destroying the ice. That enraged elemental wanted to drag him under the sea, which is his territory. The Ice Elemental Octopus King had already realized its impending death, but he was not willing to die without a fight.

Since this aura around him cannot be killed, murdering the one who releases it in his territory should be enough to ease the anger in his heart.

Unfortunately, Leng Jun had already expected it. It was observing the aura of gluttony on the Octopus King. He wanted to know if this power was willing to protect him as its current host. Unexpectedly, the purplish-black auraʼs focus was only on eating. It took a few seconds before it reacted and restrained the attack of its prey on its host.

As for Leng Jun, he controls the fire elements in his heart and shapes them into a pair of wings, which allows him to temporarily gain the ability to fly. He flapped his wings and ascended to the sky, avoiding the tentacles targeting him.

The Ice Elemental Octopus King had gotten angrier at this scene. Leng Jun had flown faster than the aircraft those humans had before and comparing their sizes was also done. A big aircraft in the sky compared to one human is completely different. The latter is smaller and more agile than the vehicle, making it harder for the Octopus King to catch Leng Jun.

It can only thrash its four tentacles on the iced surface of the sea, making countless holes and cracks in it. Leng Jun watched the whole scene from the sky.

[Argh! This cannot be! Why do I have to die for this hybridʼs sake? Ahh!!]

During the last struggles of the Ice Elemental Octopus King, Leng Jun only watched coldly from the sky. To revive his Chuchu, he is willing to sacrifice what is needed. When the power of gluttony finished eating the Ice Elemental Octopus King, its other split parts merged, leaving only one humongous dragon-shaped aura staring at him.

Those pair of violet eyes staring at him made Leng Jun feel chills all over his body.

Leng Jun felt fear towards this power of gluttony in a true sense. Now, the warning of the Ice Elemental Ninetailed Fox lingers in his mind. This power that was given to him was extremely dangerous, and he couldnʼt trust it at all. Only now has Leng Jun believed the words of that diviner. This power is indeed beyond his control, but he couldnʼt use it.

This is the only thing he can use to wake up his Chuchu, and for the sake of his goal, he is willing to accept the danger this power brings to him.

”Return for now. I will feed you again after I rest enough. There are at least two more demigods left and one god. If you want to eat them, you have to at least listen to me,” Leng Jun said.

He tried to talk to the aura with the shape of the dragon in front of him. Even though Leng Jun didnʼt know whether this thing could understand speech or not, at least he was willing to communicate with it. Leng Jun didnʼt know if he was hallucinating or not. But for some reason, he felt that the aura in dragon shape smirked at him.

Before he could clearly see anything, that purplish black aura had returned in his body, filling all parts of his body and soul with powerful energy, which he had only felt once when he ate the Ice Elemental Ninetailed Foxʼs energy core.

Leng Jun spread the qi that suddenly appeared in his body and guided most of it toward the location where Chuchuʼs soul was asleep. The translucent form of Chuchuʼs soul slowly solidified, and it was no longer see-through like before. Seeing this result, Leng Junʼs tears pooled, leaving lava teardrops falling into the iced sea surface.

Now that his Chuchuʼs soul had completely formed, it wouldnʼt take long for him to wake up.

A voice in his mind poured cold water over his head, saying, {This little one wouldnʼt be waking up soon, even after its soul had solidified.}

”What do you mean!?”

Leng Jun exclaimed as he couldnʼt accept the words this man had just said. Why wouldnʼt his Chuchu wake up? Obviously, there are no longer problems with his soul. Thatʼs why he denied the not-so-good words this evil god had said just now.

{Donʼt get angry. Arenʼt I just telling you the truth? His soul had formed, but the insides were weak. He had not only given you his blood essence and bloodline but also protected your soul twice. Once you transform into an elemental, human souls are too weak for the elemental qi to merge with. It was he who used his soul as a bridge for that elemental energy to soften a lot before passing it to you.

It was the feeling of squeezing oneʼs soul to weaken its attributes. Doing it for a few minutes doesnʼt have much effect, but didnʼt your transformation last for a few hours?}

Leng Jun was speechless this time around. He had no recollection of how he was transformed, and he only woke up as a hybrid but didnʼt understand the process. Now that he knew, his face turned pale in guilt and disbelief.

”Then he... when will he wake up?”

{You need to eat the big one. That Snowman had a drop of divinity inside him. Once that divinity was transformed into energy, your elemental will have enough to completely heal himself. He will be able to wake up for a short time after you consume the other two energy cores of the remaining energy cores. But you should hurry; a weakened soul can only get weaker as more time passes.}

Tun Shizhe didnʼt only urge Leng Jun to do the mission he gave him in exchange for lending his powers, but he also made sure he would feel that the time of the one he wanted to save us was running out. This way, he will be forced to choose only one side in the end and even forget his roots just to save his elemental, Chuchu.

Leng Jun thought for a while and decided to no longer hesitate. This time he chooses to head to the south; it would take a few weeks of travel if he forced himself to fly without stopping for too long to rest. As for why he chose to leave the Ice elemental Wolf King, it was because he owed him a favor for telling him about the special ability of the fox in the ice mountain.

If possible, Leng Jun didnʼt want to kill that wolf, so the only thing he could do is take away its energy core, forcing it to slumber until it rebuilt its strength like the Ninetailed Fox from the west.

Leng Jun mumbles, ”I need to hurry to the south and find the Elemental King of that region. Two more as long Iʼve got two more energy cores, Chuchu will open his eyes.” He unfurled his wings made of fire once again and flew to the sky, heading to the south, which is the territory of the Ice Elemental Penguin King.
