I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1396 19.55 Second Red Star - The Enraged South Elemental King

The news about the movement from the Beast Star gave the people of the hive a different kind of reaction. There are those who are calm even if the world is ending, like Marquess Conrad, Colonel Bailey, Zhi Yue, and Zhi Yang. There are those who are a bit uneasy, like Cid Warlock and the other aborigines of this planet.

There is also the current Zerg Emperor, who doesnʼt care if the world crumbles before his eyes; and there are also the excited ones, like the current Zerg Empress, who canʼt wait for the fun to start.

The report from Marquess Silver is a bit sudden, but thanks to the preparational plans of Emperor Augustus three months ago, their race was actually prepared for invasion compared to when the human race caught them off guard.

The Zerg Empress, Titania Ambrosia, had a look of anticipation on his face. ”Let them come. As long as I exist, the Hive will never fall!”

”Wife is correct,” said the Zerg Emperor, a certified henpecked man. ”But baby, let the young one go first. You can play after they can no longer hold on. This way only the powerful will remain.”

”That seems reasonable, but...” The Zerg Empress turned around and stared at the bewildered Cid Warlock. The young man is trying to think through why the Zerg Empress was looking at him. ”Throwing him to fight foreign god seems interesting in a way. Okay, I will let them get ahead in this incoming war. Since I am bored right now, I will train you guys instead~”

Cid Warlock was somewhat taken aback, since he had never imagined himself at the forefront of this impending struggle. The Zerg Empress made the decision to train him and his subordinates himself, just to make sure he would be helpful at that time.

Before the Zerg King was born, he and his followers were hauled to the rear mountain for training, where the Zerg Empress materialized in front of him with a smile on his face. Their group must withstand an attack from the Zerg Empress as a training exercise.

Voices coming from the back mountain:

”Ah! Help me!”

”Run. Letʼs just run!”

”Oh my God!”

”How can he be this strong!?”

”Is this hell!?”

”Hahaha~ little brats! Be sure to dodge this well~” the voice of the Zerg Empress was heard with hints of laughter.

”N-No. no. no, thatʼsʼ impossible! Ah! Spread out!”

”Why the hell thereʼs an avalanche out of nowhere?”

But it was already well known that the current Zerg Empress is the strongest in this era; thus, starting today, screams and explosions can be heard coming from the back mountain. This training, in the end, dragged all the soldiers into the Hive. With only the Zerg Empress as the sole opponent, small hills of beaten insects would appear after training.

Beating up the young generation in the name of training. This became Empress Titaniaʼs source of exercise and fun every day until the war began. Those older generations—the Zerg Emperor, Marquess Silver, Colonel Bailey, and the two systems—watch this scene of torture. Ahem! Training with helpless expressions.

But this allowed all the soldiers to greatly increase their experience with fighting, using tactics and formation, as well as moving in groups. So, the older generation was completely satisfied with the result and started ignoring the screams of help coming from the back mountain every day.

On the other hand, in the green planet called the Beast Star,

The Beast race is a lot stronger than the human race when it comes to physical abilities. Their raw strength, speed, grip force, bite force and claws are the types of possible weapons for this race. But at the same time, the beast race isnʼt an intelligent race like humans. They mostly rely on their instincts alone instead of using their brains.

Because of this, they didnʼt know much about war tactics or the reason why they allied themselves with the human race. Unfortunately, after the human race fell, it made the Beast race weaker compared to the other races, which they couldnʼt accept. This is the reason why they want to wage war against the Insect Race.

To prove to the other races that the Beast Race never depended on humans when fighting against others.

The Beast Race was already destined to lose in this war without their knowledge. It was just that there was a sudden, unexpected variable that appeared on the Beast Planet. A seed of chaos. A corrupted soul fragment from the dispersed soul of the God of Chaos, Hunluan.

Itʼs the pure energy of Chaos, Chaos had always been a very unstable energy in the world. It can cause distortion, madness and endless conflict. This is the reason why the World Eater, which was created with this power, went mad in the end.

Only the God of Chaos is capable of wielding this power, and for those who try to approach it, their mind will become unstable, becoming a being that only wants war and chaos.

Somewhere in the Beast Star...

In some cliff hidden from otherʼs eyes, a small cluster of silver Star flowers had appeared. Some animals and bugs ate it, instantly evolving into a monster and the effects spreads quite fast, It can spread through simple contact, my eating something that ate it, etc.

It took only a whole month for the Beast Race to be affected by this Chaos energy, and almost everyone from the Beast Race had evolved.

Theyʼve gained intelligence and unparalleled power, making them no worse than the human race when it comes to intelligence. It was just that this energy made them want to constantly fight and a commotion In the Beast Star was almost never-ending. The power of Chaos is an energy that makes one mad for battles, flesh and blood.

The beast race become accustomed to battles, but fighting against each other had gone from being enough. The original preparations they made to fight against the Zerg Race was used for another. The Beast people become a Warmonger race. They started attacking planets for no other reason than to start chaos and this affected all livable planets on the current galaxy.

”War, flesh, and blood!”

”Fight. Fight. Fight!”

Meanwhile, in the Federation Star...

The hybrid elemental, Leng Jun, had finally reached the south region after journeying in the sky for half a month. Unlike the other regions, the south can be said to be the coldest area on the planet. As this is the location, the aura of the Eternal Ice has directly hit. This is the only part of the world that completely turned to ice.

No humans are capable of living in the south and it become the region with strongest ice elemental qi.

The owner of this territory, the Ice Elemental Penguin, might look the weakest among the four elemental kings when it comes to size. It didnʼt even increase in size and remained in the same form of an ordinary penguin, except for its skin turning sapphire with its beak and claws made of thick ice that can endlessly regenerate.

Thereʼs a huge castle within the glaciers, and this is where the ice elements of the south region live. At this moment, Leng Jun arrived in the area, flying in the sky above the ice castle. The south only has ice, and there is nothing else but ice, Thatʼs why there are almost no mutated animals in this place.

But for some reason, a part of the water in this place remained liquid. Itʼs just that its temperature is below zero. If a human jumped in it, they would instantly freeze to ice. Only ice elementals can swim in this ice-cold pool, unaffected by the iciness.

Leng Jun mumbles, ”Is this the south region? Why is it completely different from the other territories of the Elemental Kings?” as he watches the festivity of those penguin-shaped ice elementals childishly playing around on the glaciers.

They would slide down on the edges of the glaciers like children playing in a playground or jump off from the high places as if one were jumping into a swimming pool. Compared to the eerie ice forest, the foggy ice mountains, and the dead sea, this place looks like an amusement ice park with pools.

”How can there still be a happy place in this Frozen Apocalypse? Right, only elementals can become happy in such a hellish place. I need to get the energy core of the Elemental King as soon as possible. To save Chuchu, this is the only way.” Leng Jun mumbled as he didnʼt even notice how his former sentimental self had become this cold-hearted.

Now he is willing to kill anyone just to get what he wants.

Under his control, the power of gluttony within his body had been once again summoned. Itʼs a huge black dragon in shape, like before. It dives down from the sky with its mouth open, eating everything on its path.

CRUNCHED!

The sound of something being munched loudly echoes in the area, mixing with the frightened and angered screams of the low-tier elementals in the shape of the penguin. The happy scene had turned gruesome and full of tragedy. Even so, Leng Jun watched the situation with dull eyes and an expressionless face. Aside from the well-being of his Chuchu, the rest doesnʼt matter.

Leng Junʼs arrival had caused too much commotion. Adding the tragic scenes under his feet, the monarch that lives inside the ice castle had finally come out. Itʼs an Emperor Penguin with an ice crown on its head and a cape drape over his back. Following behind him are also penguins with a white beard, a monocle, and other accessories that differentiate them from the other ice elemental penguins.

This scene alone, when converted with humans in it, was like the arrival of the emperor and his officials, who came to see who was making a scene in their territory.

The Ice Elemental Penguin King lifts one of his flippers as if pointing at Leng Jun in the sky. It was puffing in rage, as if it would explode in anger at any time.

[Human? NO…! Youʼre really a hybrid and not a human!? If so, you cannot become this kingʼs servant.]

[How dare you kill the people of my harem!? Such blasphemy! This king will fight you to death!]

Under the eyes of Leng Jun, the small emperor penguin grew in size. It grew bigger and stronger. It only stops growing when itʼs almost as big as the Snowman God at the center of this star. This ice elemental penguin king doesnʼt seem to be an ordinary elemental king.

[Die, you damn brat!]

The current size of the Ice Elemental Penguin King had made Leng Jun speechless. He was stunned enough that he had forgotten to dodge that incoming flipper of the Ice Elemental Penguin King and directly slapped him to the ground. Thankfully, his transformation into a half-elemental protected his life from such a heavy impact.

BOOM!

Gasp! Cough. Cough. Puke!

Leng Jun took a direct hit from the gigantic penguin and puked blood with a bit of flesh. There is pain all over his body, but his transformation into a hybrid also increased the intensity of his pain tolerance.

He didnʼt feel much pain except for the throbbing feeling coming from his injured internal organs and fractured bone. But he only needs to breathe in elemental qi in the area to instantly heal himself, though would the enraged Ice Elemental Penguin King allow him that kind of breathing time?

The Ice Elemental Penguin King wanted to stomp him to death this time. It was even shouting in anger.

[How dare you kill people of my harem!? You killed my wives and made a move against the royal family. Your punishment can only be death!]

Leng Jun is calmly staring at the enormous webbed foot of the big penguin despite the massive shadow that has appeared above his head. The only thing he can do to avoid the foot above him is to unfurl and reconstruct his damaged wings. After all, he did not want to turn into a pancake humanoid.
