I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1376 19.35 Second Red Star - People beyond the Battlefield.

It was shocking to see the Zergs in such pandemonium. Since most of the Zerg soldiers in the area are female, not many people died, even if some panicked when a few were bitten by a heretic Zerg. The physical strength of these female zergs surpasses that of the male zergs, so even if they did decide to fight a heretic, it would not be possible for them to insta-kill each other.

Furthermore, the weak male Zergs who have not finished their battle training are the ones who yelled.

The Female Zergs hauled the one who had bitten away from the blade of death, saving everyone else. The group of female Zerg warriors pummeled the heretic Zerg in the midst of the bugs until he died. The other heretics suppress their hunger and assimilate into the group at the death of the heretic.

Regretfully, they were aware that the Chief Warden, who possesses the ability to see past karma, aura, and scent, is in charge of this troop.

He can recall every single detail about the inmates of the Nether Prison because he is the Chief Warden of the Nether System. The prisoner would not be able to escape with a false persona even if they were able to change their appearance and aura since this warden would be able to see through their karma.

That is, unless they have the ability to cut themselves off from their past, present, and future and be brutal to themselves.

In Vearth, there is only the Mo Clan, which doesnʼt fear death or anything capable of doing such a thing. After all, severing your connection to the past, present, and future meant turning to your origin. A clear soul with no experience is no different from a newborn. But the Mo Clan possessed immortality; they could never die unless killed by their beloved.

For these cold-hearted gods, it is almost impossible for them to fall in love unless they are fated.

Marquess Conrad Silver looked through the troop under his command and found three, along with a strong scent of blood and death aura as well as thick negative karma that only gods can see. He didnʼt hesitate to lift his spear to kill these three heretic Zerg spies in his group.

At first, the soldiers under him thought he was killing indiscriminately, but who would have expected that at death, those three who were killed by their commander would change at the last minute? The skin they wore melted, and a skin with a bloodline fell into the eyes of these female zombie soldiers. They turn pale when they think about how close the danger that can bring them death is to them.

Marquess Conrad said, ”Heretics had a strong scent of blood and death. They are able to parasitize their victims. Keep an aura to cover your body at all times. This could at least prevent parasitism from spreading.”

”Yes, Commander!” The soldiers collectively saluted and followed his command.

Not far from the battlefield, the Heretic Zerg King raised an eyebrow at this scene. He expected to cause disadvantage to two races and let his tribe have a bountiful feast on the two races who would have thought there was a tough nut with the Zerg Race.

”Hm? That one would be hard to plot against. Who would have thought there is someone like this among the Insect Race? No, maybe he descended together with that bastard. If that is so, then... Iʼm going to eat him.” The Heretic Zerg King mumbled while licking his lips as if imagining the taste of his prey.

Meanwhile, in the Federation Star...

Mo Shizhe, who heard the situation of the human fleet he sent to the hive, didnʼt care much when he heard them lose their spaceship. He is completely indifferent to the situation of the Federation soldiers on that battlefield.

He only commented, ”How useless. Is that all the Marshals of the Federation can do?”

He was actually laughing at the stupidity of those old marshals. All this time, he didnʼt need to hear the report, as System Yang showed him the live broadcast of what was happening on the battlefield. Mo Shizhe suddenly pointed at Marquess Silver.

”Little one, this one is that Chief Warden, right?” Mo Shizhe asked.

System Yang politely responded, [Yes, itʼs the Chief Warden.]

Mo Shizhe commented for the second time, ”He is not bad. No wonder the main body took him as his subordinate. Even for me, his skills and personality are acceptable. This is the type that can complete any missions you have given him.”

”But this type tends to make one mistake in their life: for a Chief Warden to be outside of the prison and follow his boss beyond the world, itʼs his punishment, is it? What kind of sin did he commit?”

”Let me guess it had something to do with that other warden. That one used to be a prisoner, wasnʼt he?”

Zhi Yang, who was listening to the words this lord before him was saying, didnʼt seem to be surprised. In the first place, the soul fragments and receives the memories of the main body. The God of Void and this man were born from the same origin.

Even though they are now independent from one another, there is still a connection between the two, which is the power of gluttony. The original owner of Gluttony is none other than the enemy of all gods in existence.

The World Eater, a being capable of eating everything, whether it is a divinity or a star, can devour anything. The last World Eater was said to have been killed by the God of Chaos, who sacrificed himself to erase this beingʼs existence. But some fragments of this evil being existed until now; the current God of Void and this man in front of him are two of the sane fragments of that evil existence.

They possess the ability to devour but are not overwhelming like their origin, yet unlike the original world eater, they didnʼt lose themselves from such hunger. After the fragments had split into countless parts, their hunger had diminished a lot. The sane ones are lucky, as they have the ability to control gluttony while not losing themselves.

On the other hand, the corrupted fragments are an insane version similar to the original World Eater. They possess madness that sprouts from their insatiable hunger. If they donʼt eat, they will become mindless monsters like how the original world eater ended up

System Yue responded to Mo Shizheʼs question. [Yes. That had indeed happened. The Chief Warden had a fateful connection with the former God of Fate. They were formerly masters and disciples as well as lovers in their first reincarnation. Normally, gods would cut off the karma of their former lives unless they forgot about it.

They didnʼt have memories of their first lives, yet destiny had brought them together, but at the wrong time.]

[Warden Yun Ming, the former God of Fate, had broken his vows as the matchmaker and tried to forcibly attach his red string to another god. This God was quite important in Vearth, as he is the Lord God of the God System, Cao Xinsheng, the God of Reincarnation.]

[The Divine Laws had caught the Former God of Fate and his punishment was burning of his soul forever until he existed. No one knows his reason for surrendering, but he comes to the Nether Prison himself and confesses his sin. Due to his honesty, the Lord allowed him to enter the Trial of Sins; as long as he passed it, he would be pardoned.]

[Prisoners who underwent the Trial of Sins were accompanied by a warden. The Chief Warden becomes a personal warden by the mistake of someone from our side.]

It was Zhi Yueʼs newcomerʼs mistake. It was also because he is useless with desk work that he was thrown off the world-hopping field task to work as an executioner instead. This happened before System Yue became an executioner and became Lord Heiʼs system as he underwent the Trial of Resurrection.

Mo Shizhe who recalled that silly moon who is closer to Hei Anjing than his creator, Ye Xiajie,.

”Oh, itʼs that silly one. You spoiled him quite well.”

[Iʼm sorry for that.] System Yang said.

”But Hunluanʼs incarnation still hasnʼt come out, huh? That little moon of yours, letʼs look at them. They should be together,” Mo Shizhe said.

System Yang did as he was told and moved the perspective of his system camera to where Queen Titania and System Yue are. They are currently in court. The meeting was in a mess, as most old officials panicked when the Heretic Zerg appeared and the hive was almost attacked. Among them, only Queen Titania and Colonel Cyril remained unperturbed by the sudden changes of events.

This is why, after all, itʼs understandable that there will be unexpected events taking place in the middle.

The commotion in the room was an endless buzzing sound to the ears of the Zerg Queen, which finally annoyed him.

BAM!

A fist fell on the table, leaving a dent, which stunned everyone in the room. The annoying sounds in the area faded after this scary sound. Most old officials in the room couldnʼt help but sneak a peek towards the expressionless Zerg Queen.

Queen Titania said, ”Didnʼt Marquess Silver did well? He blocked that energy cannon and even eliminated the heretic spies within his familyʼs brigade. Not only that, he had completed the task I told him to do. Most of the heads leading the human race had come out. We only need to rip them apart.”

But most of the officials in the room are male Zergs, who are still weaklings, unlike Marquess Conrad, who had completely resolved the defect in his genes. These male Zergs are not only old but also against the faction of the current Zerg King; thatʼs why they were quite slow with their training.

Seeing that he only received silence as an answer, Queen Titania couldnʼt help but frown and look completely dissatisfied. He knew these men were different from the Zerg King, but how come they were still useless after training?

ʼDamn, old things. If you guys are so useless, hold back from flexing your tongues during meetings. Whatʼs the use of you people if not for annoying the royalty. No wonder that bastard always wanted to abdicate. Itʼs too tiring to lead with these old things still getting involved with the Imperial Familyʼs power.ʼ The thoughts of the Zerg Queen.

Queen Titania decided to clean these old things up for that lazy Zerg King.

”The war will continue. Everyone except the younglings, those who are crippled and canʼt move, will come out to fight. This includes you, old officials.”

Upon hearing the Zerg Queenʼs words, these Old Zergsʼ, who got used to leaving all the fighting with the Female Zerg, started complaining one by one. Sadly, the Zerg Queen turned deaf ears to their complaints and ordered Colonel Cyril to bring them over.

Colonel Cyril fearlessly grabbed these Old Male Zergs who wanted to run away, while the Old Female Zerg voluntarily grabbed their armor, ready to fight with the queen

Despite being in their late years, their dignity as soldiers who protect their home is still there. They didnʼt have to be forcefully brought away, unlike the Male Zergs, who abuse their authority.

Unfortunately, the other young Male Zergs were unlike the old ones. Theyʼve been guided by Marquess Conrad during their cultivation training and vowed to become like him. When they saw Lord Marquess Silver standing before the Hive with only his spear in his hand and blocking the energy cannon, admiration and respect filled their hearts.

They started dreaming of wanting to become like in the future as well. They believe that even if they are weak right now, they will become strong in the future.

Queen Titania went back to the Kingʼs Palace to change to his full armor, ready to join in the war. After wearing pure white armor, he glanced at the closed door of the Kingʼs Chamber.

Queen Titania mumbles, ”Take your time. Until then, let me protect this hive for you.” He turns around and walks out of the Kingʼs Palace to join the war.

Behind the locked door of the Kingʼs Chamber, King Augustus lay on the ground, a pool of blood underneath him. Nobody knows what happened to King Augustus or when he will open his closed eyelids.
