I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1388 19.47 Second Red Star - Deep Haven

The changes in the Federation Star progress without problems and the Heavenly Laws of this world even found a new protagonist to lead its world. Even though Mo Shizhe, the future villain of this world, is gone, with how the original world plot in the Federation Star is destroyed, a new story has been made with its current situation. Frozen Apocalypse.

A world that suffered from frost that covered the whole star.

When he saw the birth of Leng Jun, the new protagonist, Tun Shizhe, who had been waiting in the other dimensions for the new plot to start, grinned. The majority of the main characters were raised amid extreme hardship, sacrifice, and grief. The life of Leng Jun is not unique. He is a regular retired special forces agent who has never been in a romantic relationship.

His family used to be content and lead a typical life. However, when the planet experienced an almost perpetual winter, everything was different.

In the beginning, the human races were still waiting for good news from their leaders, who left with almost all the sentinels and guides for an interstellar war against the Zerg race. They had always been proud of their race, adding up that they live their lives informed by the illusionary legends built by the old marshals to illuminate their position as leaders.

But everything had changed on that day and the sun completely disappeared from their world. One early morning, while everyone else was continuing their daily lives, the bright blue sky suddenly turned smoggy. The sun was completely covered up with things that looked like thick clouds and the overall temperature of the world had dropped significantly.

The report says that they didnʼt know what was happening and scientists all over the world blamed it on climate change and called this situation ʼGlobal Coolingʼ. The humans thought that this was just ordinary climate change, and no one cared much about it.

Until snow starts falling in the summer season, and itʼs the type that doesnʼt stop at all. Only when the winter season didnʼt stop after it was supposed to, did humans finally feel the terror of global cooling, which evolved into global freezing. Unfortunately, their current situation is beyond what humans can control.

In the end, their whole planet turned frosty and was covered in snow all day every year.

Eternal Ice is an absolute ice element. It cannot be burned by the ordinary heat of the sun or any average kind of fire. To melt it, you would need the hottest fire—its alter ego, the Hell Flames. Only this absolute fire element had the possibility of melting Eternal Ice.

In just a few months, more than half of the population will be gone, mostly elders and young children whose immune systems are the weakest. They suffered and died from extreme coldness. As for the sun, it was still there in the sky, illuminating the world, but it couldnʼt melt the snow in the human star, no matter how blazing hot it emits.

Accompanying the icy weather are naturally born monsters, which they call elementals. There are natural beings born into this world. Ice and snow have become their greatest sources of power. Worse of all, they hated all humans on the planet and killed one every time they saw one. This is the beginning of the Frozen Apocalypse.

For survival, the humans choose to dig through the icy land and live underground. After losing their territories to the elements above ground, humans still continue to exist under the thick earth. As for whether they can live above the surface in the future, it will be unknown.

The sudden transformation of Leng Jun was seen by a lot of elements and humans. His current standing among humans is unknown. As for the elements, most of them were welcoming to the new person of their race, but there are also some that werenʼt welcoming of half-breeds. Experience tales at empire

The news of Leng Junʼs transformation had reached the secret base of the human race. The elders and leaders who heard about his transformation were shocked by what happened to him. After all, the possibility of them transforming had become possible with Leng Jun as proof.

Underground Sanctuary, Deep Haven.

The hunters had returned with only a few snow rabbits in their hands. Looking at such little prey being brought back to the haven made others look helpless. They would have never expected that even with the strongest elementalist going out, the food hunted would be less than normal.

As soon as the hunter arrived in Deep Haven, they passed the rabbits they found on the way to their comrades and ran in to report something urgent.

”Elders, Leader! We have something to report. Itʼs about Boss Leng Jun!”

The leader of the Deep Haven is an old general named Serge, from the same generation as the former three marshals. He was never able to reach the Marshal position with the opposition of the three marshals at peak. He was one of the generals who advocated for equality between humans and halflings as well as the only man who suggests apologizing to the Zerg Race.

As someone from the old generation, he knew the real truth about the deaths of the former Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress. It was an intentional ambush planned by the federation. They contacted the Zerg Race to sign a treaty like the Beast Race, but these old bastards covet the Hive, which is rich in resources and said to be the most fertile planet in their galaxy.

They successfully blamed the deaths of the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress on the space bandits. Sadly, the insect race didnʼt believe them, and the interstellar war between the two races began.

Leader Serge frowned at seeing the youngsters not even knocking on his door so rudely. But before he had the time to scold them, Serge noticed the paleness of their faces. Adding to the fact that he couldnʼt see Leng Jun with them, he had a bad feeling about their arrival.

”Only you three? Where is Xiao Jun!?” Old Serge asked.

”Gramps, the boss was abducted by the elementals!”

The friend beside him hit his head and said, ”Stupid, thatʼs not it! Old man, the boss got eaten by the ice wolves and then revived!”

”Fools! What the hell are you two saying!?” The comrade of theirs standing behind the two idiots got smacked on their back as he scolded them.

Old Serge pinched his temples in annoyance and pointed at the last man who spoke, ”Jeremy, you explain it. I canʼt understand anything these brats are saying!”

”We were hunting a mutated polar bear when a scout ice wolf found us. The boss protected our rest and got surrounded by an ice elemental wolf pack. Just when we thought everything was over, Bossʼs element entered his body and they merged! Itʼs amazing when the boss broke through an egg-like cocoon and evolved and became half-elemental of fire, but his element is gone.

We donʼt know what truly happened to him. This is what we just saw.” The hunter called Jeremy.

Old Serge frowned at what he just heard, especially about the possibility of Leng Jun becoming an entity not entirely human.

”Where is he now? Did you leave him alone!?” Serge scolded.

Jeremy also looks guilty and doesnʼt want to deny that they have indeed left their boss behind. But the fools behind him started making excuses, which they didnʼt do much of.

”Gramps! We saw the Ice Elemental Wolf King!”

”Yes, yes. He is as tall as a building, and he was talking to the boss about how we forgot about him.”

Old Serge asked, ”You mean he could understand the words of the Elementals even though they werenʼt in contract? Moreover, the Wolf King didnʼt kill him. This is odd.”

Just as the atmosphere in the room turned silent, a few people gathered outside the room, catching the attention of the old man and the others inside.

”You knock on the door!”

”Why me!? I donʼt want to be scolded!”

”Who told you guys to come out!? Donʼt you feel fear!?”

”We just want to get some snow to melt for water. We wanted to take a bath.”

”Ice water can be drunk as the snow outside is cleaner than mineral water. This is the only resource in this apocalypse that is free for all.”

”What should we do about the prey outside? Those are all meat!”

BAM!

The door to the leaderʼs office was pushed open, revealing Old Serge, Jeremy, and the other top hunters. Those who were crowding outside froze when the door opened, seeing their superior.

Old Serge exclaimed, ”What is the problem right now!?”

”Leader, come out to the surface with us. Someone sent food to our place.”

”What did you say!?” Jeremy shouted as he ran out of the sanctuary as if he thought of their boss, whom they left behind outside.

Old Serge commanded, ”The Hunter, come out with me. The rest stay inside and be good. Wait for us to return.”

Seeing the urgency of Jeremyʼs strides, Old Serge and the other hunters followed after him. When they got outside, they saw Jeremy shouting for Leng Jun, but their eyes could not move away from the pile of dead hunted prey on the ground. There are at least three polar bears, a snow leopard, a small hill of snow rabbits, and two reindeer.

Old Serge murmured, ”Who did...”

”Boss. Boss! Are you around!? Come out! Letʼs go home!” Jeremy shouted; unfortunately, his shouts were covered with the strong breeze brought by the sudden blizzard.

The old general, Old Serge, senses that there is something staring at him but canʼt find the source of this gaze. He turned serious and stopped Jeremy, who was shouting and calling for Leng Jun but gave no response at all.

”Jeremy, calm down. Tell the boys to bring in these prey. It would help us last for at least three months without coming out to hunt,” Old Serge said.

Jeremy looked regretful and said, ”What about the boss...?”

”You have to calm down first,” Old Serge said.

The Old General looked straight at Jeremy, making the middle-aged man shut his mouth and realize the meaning behind their leaderʼs gaze. Leng Jun was his boss and close friend. He was so regretful that maybe he shouldnʼt leave him behind at all.

He gritted his teeth, and with reddening eyes, he glared at his comrades and said, ”What are you guys looking at? Move in groups and bring in these prey. Have the butchers clean it up and prepare the evening feast.”

”Yes, sir!”

With a cheerful expression, Old Serge saw the men returning to Deep Haven with food supplies. The old man stayed above ground for a time, forcing even Jeremy to go back below with the others.

After looking around as the scenery underwent a blizzard, Old Serge squinted his eyes and shouted, ”Xiao Jun, I know that you are nearby. Come out for this old man! Donʼt tell me you believe this old man will hurt you!”

”Of course, you donʼt. But my appearance... Itʼs different from before. Iʼm afraid you might not recognize me anymore.” A voice coming all over the place was heard, but Old Serge didnʼt see one who could have replied to him.

Old Serge rebuked, ”Nonsense! Come out right now or I will get angry!”

”Just... donʼt be afraid.”

A figure abruptly materialized in front of this old man after some time of waiting. The continuing snowfall has little effect on the young manʼs figure. The snow that falls on this young man seems to be protected by some sort of barrier because it melts right away before it gets to his skin. In this universe of white, the reddish-orange glow in his hair is remarkably attention-grabbing.

However, Old Sergeʼs initial motivation came from the young manʼs recognizable traits from Leng Junʼs earlier recollections. He recognizes the young man before him as being precisely the same as the young adult Leng Jun from his recollections.

”Xiao Jun?” The Old General calls reluctantly, as he is unsure if this young man is indeed his adopted little son, whom he had adopted years ago.
