I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1370 19.29 Second Red Star - Crown Prince Candidate

Even after they had dropped from the skies, the Zerg King and Zerg Queen were still exchanging icy barbs. Since the two did not even utilize their wings in combat, it is obvious that none of them gave it their all. Zergs are not out for a kill until their wings are out. That is why, aside from those who wanted to plot something, nobody genuinely desired to put an end to their two rulersʼ feud.

The Queen ultimately decided to freeze the majority of these guys.

Almost everyone was startled when the Zerg King let the Zerg Queen relocate into his palace after the destruction of the Queenʼs Palace, with the exception of Marquess Silver and Colonel Cyril, who had anticipated it since they discovered that Queen Titania was actually Lord Heiʼs incarnation. Find your next adventure on empire

King Augustus would never permit Queen Titania to dwell anywhere else now that he is positive he is his wifeʼs incarnation. Thus, the King Palace would be noisy every day whenever the couple fought.

This continued for a week until the Zerg King learned that the human race planned to invade the Hive. King Augustus called everyone to a dawn court the following morning. The heads of the armed forces as well as the nobility were called. In the throne hall now, a second throne is set aside next to his own. Queen Titania was seated next to King Augustus on this throne.

Colonel Cyril stands behind Queen Titania, and Marquess Conrad stands behind King Augustus. It was already common knowledge that these two were obedient aides to King Augustus and that they would always stand by him. What shocked them even more was that Queen Titania, a zerg woman, was permitted to sit on her own throne next to the monarch.

Following the demise of the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress, this has never occurred before.

Cid Warlock, Solan, Lucas, Kian, and Roan are among those in attendance during the court meeting. Everyone was shocked to see the halflings they had met earlier when the Queen brought them here, but they were more than happy to have them around because of the Human Raceʼs urgent need to wage war against the Zerg Race once more.

King Augustus started saying, ”Everyone is here. I have a few announcements. First, Titania Ambrosiaʼs Authority will be equal to this King. He will be a Regent Queen. Anyone who disrespects him will be published by law as he, himself, is like me. Remember, disrespecting the Queen means death.”

Silence descended in the hall. On the other hand, Queen Titania looked uninterested as he looked down on everyone before his eyes with a bored expression. Everyone was stunned, but no one dared to reject the Kingʼs words and waited for him to continue talking.

King Augustus said, ”Second, the candidate for the Crown Prince position had been decided.”

At this announcement, everyone in the hall was surprised. They started whispering to one another.

Marquess Conrad said, ”Be quiet!”

Everyone shut their mouths when they heard Marquess Conrad speak out. This is obviously because the Zerg King was annoyed that they cut off his words. Silence once again spread in the hall.

King Augustus gestured for Cid Warlock to come. ”You come over.”

The nobility zergs and the soldiers appeared unhappy as Cid Warlock, the halfling, stood in front of them. They failed to see what this young man had to offer to be named Crown Prince. With this title, he will succeed King Augustus in the event of his death or abdication.

Everyone in the Hive can see that King Augustus had lost interest in the throne. If he had chosen the appropriate heir, he would have abdicated long ago. Only members of the three Royal Zerg Tribes are eligible to hold the thrones in the Hive. Almost gone is the Blue Morpho Butterfly Royal Tribe. It was stated that the current king was the last of his lineage.

The Monarch Butterfly Bloodline was exterminated long ago with the passing of the Zerg Emperor, and the Apollo Butterfly Royal Tribe solely selects the Queen.

King Augustus introduces the candidate for the Crown Prince position.

”His name is Cid Warlock. He is half-human and half-Zerg.”

No one in the hall cared whether he was a half-human; in the first place, there are lots of halflings in the hive, and most of them are powerful. The female halflings work for the military, while the male halflings either work for the palace or are adopted by a noble tribe to be heirs. In the hive, strength matters first, and bloodline is only second.

Unfortunately, there arenʼt other Zerg tribes stronger than the current royal tribes.

King Augustus said, ”As for the bloodline of his Zerg, you will understand why I chose him after you see his wings. Kid, show them your wings.”

Cid Warlock did as he was told and unfolded his large blue wings with black linings. As soon as his wings were spread, almost everyone in the hall was dumbfounded, except for those who already knew, like the queen and the two wardens in the area.

Gasp!

”The Blue Morpho Butterfly Bloodline!”

”A Royal Blood! He is from the former royal family!?”

”Impossible! Isnʼt the current king the last of his kind?”

”No. The lost prince, donʼt you remember? The late royal family lost a royal prince before. Donʼt tell me! Is he his descendant?”

Solan and the other halflings who were with Cid Warlock were ecstatic about the disturbance in the hall. It appears from the responses of those in their immediate vicinity that their leader held a prominent position inside the Hive. The halflings who are with them appear to be more influential in the future.

When Marquess Conrad noticed that the Zerg King was frowning at the ruckus, he quickly ordered everyone in the hall to hush. However, before he could say anything more, the other individual, irritated by the commotion, began to exert more pressure from his seat.

It is Queen Titania. ”Noisy. The meeting is getting longer, and the main subject, which is war, hasnʼt been tackled yet. Continue your nonsense for later.”

Everyone turned silent under this coercion. Only when the hall had once again turned noiseless was the suppressing aura of the Zerg Queen taken back.

With a glance from the Zerg Queen, King Augustus continued his words. ”Before Cid Warlock gains the title of crown prince, he must defeat three human generals or a marshal and bring back their heads as proof.”

”Are you willing to accept this trial, Cid Warlock?” King Augustus asked.

Cid Warlock kneeled on one knee and accepted his trial. ”This one accepts the trial.”

”The one who will lead the war is the Queen. All authorities on the battlefield shall be under his command. I will stay and protect the hive. I will only come out if something unexpected happens,” King Augustus said.

Queen Titania glanced at his side and said, ”Just stay here. Donʼt steal my fun.”

”Sure. Have fun. I will leave the rest to you,” King Augustus said as he once again excused his presence and secluded himself in his palace.

This time, he wanted to break the curse for sure. In the past few days, he has always been fighting with the Zerg Queen. There is also the incident of the queen falling unconscious. So many things happened that prevented him from breaking the curse on this body.

Look at Marquess Conrad. His physical body had been refined to the level of his soul. He is now manly and handsome, making lots of female zergsʼ eyes sparkle in his presence. Thankfully, there is Cyril Bailey always by his side, or Marquess Conrad would always be surrounded by female zergs.

Instead of bidding the Zerg King farewell, the Zerg Queen rolled his eyes at him. His animosity for this individual is genuine, despite the fact that he knew this man was not his enemy. Furthermore, Chaos keeps his word. Yes, the memories were slowly coming back to him, but lately they had only been unpleasant ones, clouding his perception of the God of Void day by day.

Because of this, every morning, as Queen Titania awakens from his memory nightmare, there is a brawl in the Kingʼs Palace.

The atmosphere in the throne hall darkened once King Augustus left. Unlike the Zerg King, who vanished instantly, Marquess Conrad remained in the hall and stood behind the Zerg Queen. In the event that the Zerg King is not there, they are to obey the Zerg Queenʼs commands.

Queen Titania said, ”All female zerg soldiers will come out with me. Half will follow the lead of Cid Warlock and the other half to the front with me. The male zerg soldiers will be at the rear. Donʼt forget to support the female zergs on time. Failure to do so will be death on the spot. Just think of the result of losing; the humans are here to exterminate our race.

Once we lost your riches and wealth, families and cubs as well as your home and our planet. They will destroy everything, kill everyone, and loot everything. If you donʼt want that to happen, silent to my commands.”

”Yes, your highness!”

Everyone reacted to the Zerg Queenʼs comments this time. If they do not defend their home planet in the midst of the impending disaster, then who will? The female zergs have a strong physical strength but lack mental power and control over their spiritual qi. For them, spiritual attacks are more effective against them.

The meeting was adjourned when it was explained which formations would be utilized and what supplies they would require for the fight. A few people were still in the hall when everyone went to work on their assignments. Only Cid Warlock and his halfling subordinates were left among them.

Queen Titania looked at Cid Warlock and said, ”I will let three human generals go to your side. As for whether you succeed or not, it depends on yourself. I wonʼt be able to lend you help when the battle begins. Also, I believe you should learn the abilities of your bloodline. Each tribe has their own special abilities. The Apollo Butterfly Tribe is ice control.

As for your Blue Morpho Butterfly, itʼs an illusion or debuff. I donʼt know which you have inherited.”

”How will I be able to check?” Cid Warlock asked.

Queen Titania glances at Marquess Conrad beside him, obviously asking him to take on the role of teaching the brat. As expected, Marquess Conrad stepped out while wearing fighting gloves in his hand.

Marquess Conrad said, ”The only way to check is through fighting. During life and death situations, your bloodlineʼs special skill shall awaken. Grit your teeth, brats!” Marquess Conrad said as he suddenly appeared before Cid Warlock and swing his arm for a punch.

Since male zergs are physically weaker than sentinels, Cid Warlock did not take the hit seriously. With the intention of softly blocking it, he raised one arm. Who would have imagined that a massive, hefty weight would descend on his arm at the exact time of impact? This ex-sentinel had to raise his other arm to deflect Marquess Conradʼs one blow to the face. He took off again, heading for the door.

BOOM!

”BOSS!”

Solan, Lucas, and Kian were shocked and turned vigilant towards the male zerg in front of them. Only Roan, who is a doctor, ran towards Cid Warlock, who hit the door of the hall to check on him. When they turned around, they saw Marquess Conrad twisting his right wrist as if warming up.

Colonel Cyril said for the brats to hear. ”Donʼt treat my husband the same as those weak male zergs outside. Unlike them, he had already fixed the error in his genes and acquired the normal physical body of a male zerg of olden times.”

”The former Zerg Emperor is said to possess a body harder than diamonds, and male zergs of that time never possessed weakness. They possess a body stronger than those you call sentinels. The male zerg in front of you is the strongest after the Zerg King. So fight for real or you will die~” Queen Titania said as he watched the scene before him like entertainment.

Marquess Conrad looked at them with disdain while clutching his hands as if trying to control his strength.

”I will make sure your Zerg bloodlines awaken enough to gain your original regeneration ability.”

The Chief Wardenʼs physical might isnʼt his only weapon. As a war god, he possesses a vast array of combat experience, both in one-on-one and one-on-many situations. He gave all the halflings in the hall such a hard time that the bruises and injuries caused their bloodlines to awaken.

A few hours later, Marquess Conrad took off his bloodstained gloves and tossed them to a servant as he left. A heap of battered halflings can be seen behind him; they were beaten despite baring their zerg parts during the fight. As one approaches, they can observe how quickly their bruises and wounds are healing.

Marquess Conrad said, ”Training starts at 6 am in the morning. Location: First Training Grounds in this Imperial Palace. If you are late, there will be punishment.”

After Marquess Conrad walked away, the small hill of beaten brats behind him were murmuring the same thing.

”Spartan!”

”Demon Trainer!”

”Wuwu~ my handsome face.”

In the end, Colonel Cyril felt bad for them and healed them by giving them some pills before asking them to leave the hall to rest. After Cid Warlock and his group disappeared, Marquess Conrad and Colonel Cyril kneeled before the Queen.

Queen Titania said, ”He left you two behind to monitor me?”

”No, your highness. We are here to serve you,” Colonel Cyril said.

Marquess Conrad said, ”Please give us orders.”

”Very well. Join me on the battlefield and fight in front,” Queen Titania commanded.

The two said, ”As you wish, Your Highness!”
