I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1359: 19.18 Second Red Star - Rescue Mission I

The Zerg Tribe, Royal. The Royal Zerg Bloodline is exclusive to just three Zerg tribes. The Blue Morpho Butterfly Tribe, the Apollo Butterfly Tribe of the Zerg Empress Family, and the Monarch Butterfly of the Zerg Emperor Pure lineage are the bloodlines of the former Zerg Emperorʼs brother.

The Monarch Butterfly Bloodline is thought to be the rarest of these three tribes, as only the most powerful male Zerg is able to awaken it.

It is reported that the former Zerg Emperor changed his Blue Morpho Butterfly bloodline to a Monarch Butterfly bloodline. None of the male zergs had awakened the Monarch Butterfly Bloodline since the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress had died. The Zerg race lost track of this tale, which is why the Blue Morpho Butterfly Bloodline is significant to the insect race.

When Queen Titania and her minions noticed the wings of a member of the Blue Morpho Butterfly Tribe, they naturally became a little serious. Since they are Hive members, it is their responsibility to safeguard this royal lineage. However, defending this lineage necessitates opposing Augustus Kaiser, the reigning Zerg King.

No one is certain if the current Zerg King has inherited the Zerg Emperorʼs royal bloodline, as it has been diluted throughout the years.

While the Hive is aware of his exceptional mental prowess, none is aware of his lineage. After all, the Blue Morpho Butterflyʼs bloodline had vanished years prior. The halfling with the aforementioned royal ancestry, Cid Warlock, has now surfaced. This implies that there will be one throne and two royal groups within the Hive.

The side most worthy of the throne will be the one selected by the Zerg Queen.

The Zerg Queenʼs subordinates all awaited the decision of their master. It is imperative to save the final member of the Royal Bloodline, but doing so will turn Queen Titania and the Apollo Butterfly Tribe against Augustus Kaiser, the current Zerg King.

”General, what should we do? Save him or not?”

”We cannot turn a blind eye. Thatʼs the Royal Zerg Tribe!”

”Royal Zerg Tribe or not, do you want to be on the opposite side of the current Zerg King? You havenʼt attended the morning court before; his mental abilities are so powerful they can crush a living bug so easily! To become an enemy of that kind of person, I... Iʼm afraid.”

The Zerg Queen was deliberating, even with the halflings. One of the individuals they wished to save is the one they are discussing. They would have far greater success saving Cid, Warlock, and Lucas with the aid of these formidable female zergs than they would have with the three of them alone. The group was preoccupied with this topic and was unaware that another group was watching the same scene.

King Augustus Kaiser, System Yue, Colonel Cyril Bailey, and Marquess Conrad Silver. Without noticing one another, they watch the sight. A tiny, invisible moon was circling Queen Titania. These people cannot see him at all. The Zerg Queen would not notice Marquess Conrad and his spouse peering at them from a particular distance in the skies.

System Yue was talking to Queen Titania on his own. Unfortunately, the latter couldnʼt even see him, much less hear his voice.

Zhi Yue said, [Ah! Donʼt do that! The Lord is watching. If you help that mortal, it can only be seen as betrayal to the current king!]

From the sky, the two wardens hiding behind the clouds watched the scene below in silence. They heard every detail of the conversation below thanks to the live broadcast of their subsystem.

Colonel Cyril Bailey asked, ”Darling, what do you think?”

”If the Queen agrees that mortals will die under the hands of the Lord, the Queen might get spared if he wasnʼt the Lord Heiʼs incarnation. But whatever he chooses, the Hive will fall into chaos,” Marquess Conrad Silver said.

Colonel Cyril Bailey asked, ”Do you think he is Lord Heiʼs Incarnation?”

”I am not close to Lord Hei, so I am unsure. What about you, honey?” Marquess Conrad Silver asked.

With a confused and unsure expression on his face, Cyril Bailey answered, ”I felt he might be, but... at the same time not. I can feel the same darkness in him similar to the one the God of Void possessed. Lord Hei didnʼt possess this kind of darkness before.”

”Letʼs just focus on the mission. As long as the Zerg Queen isnʼt dead, the rest donʼt matter,” Marquess Conrad Silver said.

Back to the land...

Now that she was the center of attention, Queen Titania Ambrosia finally voiced her opinion. He had to make a difficult choice. Cid Warlockʼs zerg lineage is too significant for their species to ignore, even though the present King Augustus Kaiser is not the same as the previous one.

”Itʼs my responsibility to keep the Royal Bloodline alive, but this doesnʼt mean I am on his side. Let these guys save him, while some of you follow in stealth mode to keep him alive,” Queen Titania said. ”I wonʼt get involved personally.”

Only one of the Zerg Queenʼs subordinates consents to go with Cid Warlock and Lucas on their rescue expedition. Even though he is only a halfling, they can not watch him die now that a potential royal zerg family member has surfaced, even if they do not want to become engaged in the scheme in the human star.

Lieutenant Solan glanced at the Zerg Queen, who, despite being aware of their lordʼs unique ancestry, declined to become involved. The other female zergs assumed that the Zerg Queen would personally initiate contact when they brought up the royal zerg tribe and how it related to their lord.

Who would have guessed that this zerg queen would not welcome someone with haste, even if they were the potential zerg royal blood?

An additional member was recruited to the Rescue Plan for Lucas and Cid Warlock when a female zerg soldier consented to assist them in their mission. Lili, Lieutenant Solanʼs daughter, will be left in Queen Titaniaʼs care. Solan decided to believe the Zerg Queen, even though a human or halfling would normally be concerned about leaving their child with an enemy of their race.

Regardless of ethnicity, he had witnessed the maternal love the female zergs had for their offspring. These folks will never hurt a child, as long as they are children.

Four people had broken into the closest military barracks at dawn, where there was an underground prison and an experimental facility. Cid Warlock was in the lab and his comrade Lucas was imprisoned beneath the dirt. They opted to go in pairs.

Lieutenant Solan and the female zerg will team up to save Cid Warlock in the laboratory, while Kian and Roan will slip into the underground prison to save Lucas.

Through hacking into the barracksʼ security cameras, Kian created a camouflage recording that gave the impression that the camera was still in use. They also use the backdoor to temporarily disable the traps at the gates.

They nabbed a couple soldiers in the military barracks and took their clothes. These troops were slain, and their bodies were concealed elsewhere.

Lieutenant Solan said, ”We should split here. Follow the map Kian had found and immediately leave the area as soon as we save the targets. There is no need to wait for others. You two should be careful. Kill anyone at sight.”

”You three and the humans used to be on the same side. Are you guys willing to kill these human soldiers? Arenʼt they innocent and were just working?” The female zerg soldier is called Nier.

[Note: All Zergs are male in the body. The ones called females can give birth.]

The three halflings looked at the Female Zerg Nier and didnʼt seem offended by his words.

Roan spoke, ”They killed my grandma, even though she is old and a human. They donʼt deserve to live when someone as innocent as my grandma died like that!”

”Same as above. We work for them with loyalty but they killed our loved ones. Isnʼt it unfair to care whether they are innocent or not?” Kian said with hatred glinting in his eyes.

Solan said, ”They are right. Even the innocent are killed, and none from the human race spoke up for our Halflings race. Do the other humans deserve a second chance? My wife ignored their contemptuous eyes just to live as my beloved, and in the end, he was still killed by them even after living in the same village for years. They donʼt deserve mercy.”

The female zerg Nier said, ”Well, with that kind of mindset, you will be able to live well in the Hive. We never cared about whether you are mixed blood or not as long as you are strong enough. Plus, the discrimination for our gender will be resolved soon. The current king is a good male. He gave us females a way to live that doesnʼt require us to attach ourselves to male zergs.”

”If your Zerg King is good, why do you still help us save Lord Cid? Isnʼt the Zerg King powerful enough?” Lieutenant Solan asked.

The female zerg Nier retorted, ”The more power on our side, the easier it is to exterminate the human race. Because they killed our Emperor and Empress, we can hardly reconcile with them anymore. Letʼs go. We donʼt have much time left.”

To save each other, the four of them maneuver in pairs toward various targets. Kian and Roan entered the underground jail covertly. There was no light or life anywhere in the underground prison. This underground facility is only partially illuminated by a few faint lights along the way. Kian and Roan passed a few well-known faces on their route.

Most of the convicts confined in the penitentiary were halflings who served as Cid Warlock.

It is clear that the residents of this barrack appear to have perished while on a mission, but in actuality, they were imprisoned here to undergo experiments and torture. A few of them lost control of their metamorphosis. They will always exist as a hybrid of a zerg and a human.

Kian was pissed. ”This is too cruel! How could those damn humans do this to us!? Just why!?!?”

”Calm down, Kian. Save them first. Do we have enough medical supplies?” Roan asked. He is a medical soldier himself. He can at least treat some wounds and injuries.

”P-Please... Kill... me~”

Tch! Bang!

Some people beg to be killed, while others can still be saved. In order to help individuals who had endured too much and had given up on life, Roan carried out their requests. As other incidents similar to these transpired, the halflingsʼ animosity for humans peaked. They despise them even more than the Insect Race.

Ultimately, the Zerg Race would not torment them in this manner and would immediately destroy you.

Along the journey, Kian, Roan, and those survivors slaughtered every person. Only a few humans who were imprisoned alongside them and had sided with the halflings were spared. They can hear the torturerʼs mocking remarks as he laughs while slapping the prisoner inside the cell, which is located at the very end of the underground jail.

”Damn! Mixed breed! You and your tainted bloodline. I shall whip you up until you learn your place. Slaves like your race can only be treated beneath their feet. A bastard who bears the blood of the Zergs!

Hahaha~”

They heard Lucasʼ hoarse voice coming from inside, retorting to the torturerʼs words. ”Human Trash! Once Lord Warlock woke... up. What... you guys...

did shall never be... forgiven!”

”Hahaha~ what can that halfling bastard do!? If not for the fact that half of his bloodline is from the Warlock Family, his situation would be similar to yours!”

When Roan and Kian heard the voice inside, they could barely contain their rage. Without holding back, they pounded the human within the cell and kicked its door. Lucas is saved by the other survivors, who then put him in the chains that keep him upright. They can see how brutal the whip markings are on Lucas when they look at his severe flesh wounds and pale complexion.

In addition to the smell of blood, there is also a burnt scent.

Lucas recognized the two men beating up his torturer. He was delighted to see them alive, ”Kian-ge? Roan-ge? You are still... alive?”

”Sirs, please treat him. He is losing too much blood.”

”Donʼt worry. This bastard (the torturer) definitely has that drug that replenishes blood, or he wouldnʼt torture Lucas like this,” Roan said as he and Kian were looking through the clothes and stuff of the beaten person on the ground. This man had lost consciousness from being beaten too much on the head.

Kian pulled out a red potion to replenish blood and passed it to Roan. This drug was immediately used on Lucas, returning his color to a normal shade. Roan cleaned his wounds and wrapped him in bandages. He looked like a dumpling with how much bandage Roan had used on him. That also showed that almost none of his skin was scarred or wounded.

Lucas was feeling a bit weak, but he was delighted to see them alive. ”Brothers, how are the others?”

Kian and Roan gave him a silent response. This reply stifled all optimism for his alliesʼ survival. Upon hearing nothing back, Lucas was dejected because he already knew what had happened to the others.

Roan patted Lucasʼ shoulder and said, ”The rest can be explained later. Letʼs get out of here first.”

”What about Lord Cid? He is in more danger than I am!” Lucas said.

Kian said, ”Donʼt worry about him. Lieutenant Solan is looking for him. They should be able to save them soon.”

”Brothers, who is helping you if the others are gone?” Lucas asked. His two comrades were once again rendered speechless.
