Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 383: Chapter 336: A Scene More Terrifying Than Withstanding a Nuclear Bomb Unfolds! (Part 2)

In other words, being invincible on Earth is already a certainty!

”Moreover, after my third deep evolution, the ’energy shield’ of the Biological Force Field cannot withstand the power of a nuclear explosion.”

Lu Li recalled the previous battle against the roaring fighter jets, where the opponent launched a five-thousand-ton nuclear bomb, and he had to dive underwater, only to still have the massive force of the explosion pierce through his ’energy shield’ and cost him an arm.

What about this time?

Facing a multi-million-ton nuclear bomb, directly at ground zero, he still managed to withstand the immense power.

It’s undeniable that the defensive capability of the Biological Force Field’s ’energy shield’ has improved significantly.

Actually, the extreme heat generated at ground zero of a nuclear bomb is the most lethal to Lu Li.

As for other impacts like shock waves and radiation, the effect isn’t as significant.

Whether it’s a multi-million-ton or a five-thousand-ton nuclear bomb.

The temperatures generated at their ground zero might vary to some extent, but the difference isn’t that big.

For example, the temperature at the ground zero of Little Boy instantly reached several million degrees, with a yield of only fifteen thousand tons.

Whereas the temperature at the ground zero of that multi-million-ton bomb earlier was indeed much higher than Little Boy’s, roughly twenty to thirty million degrees.

Comparing these, even though the yield increased hundreds of times, the temperature rise isn’t as significant.

The biggest differences between them lie in the duration of the explosion and the scope of the destruction.

Because of this, Lu Li could rely on the upgraded Biological Force Field’s ’energy shield’ to withstand the power of that multi-million-ton nuclear explosion.

”But even though it lasted only a few seconds, it still drained all my energy.”

Lu Li couldn’t help but sigh, ”At that time, I could barely maintain disguise, which shows just how massive the energy consumption was. But, it was precisely because of facing that nuclear bomb that I discovered a new way to absorb energy.”

Previously, his energy was completely exhausted.

Normally, it would take several hours to recover.

So, how did he manage to retain thirty to forty percent of his energy now?

The answer is quite simple.

At the moment the explosion at ground zero ended, the nuclear bomb released powerful shock waves, thermal energy, radiation, and so on.

Because Lu Li’s energy was depleted, he instinctively absorbed the kinetic energy, thermal energy, and radiation from these shock waves and so forth.

Unexpectedly, these energies were like a ”miraculous elixir,” instantly restoring thirty to forty percent of his energy.

Lu Li believes that if he continued to stand there absorbing radiation into his body and let the flames of his ’true self’ convert them, he could fully recover to peak condition in no more than thirty minutes.

However, he currently has more important matters to attend to, and having recovered thirty to forty percent of his energy is more than enough for this task, so he didn’t continue absorbing energy.

”Without the ’Flames of True Self’ for energy conversion, I surely couldn’t absorb so much kinetic energy, thermal energy, and radiation in one go, nor could I hope to restore thirty to forty percent of my internal energy in such a short period.”

Lu Li finally realized just how magical the upgraded energy absorption methods are.

He thought, if during his fifth deep evolution, his energy wasn’t enough, he might even fly to the solar surface for a bath to absorb energy.

”Now is not the time to think about these things.”

Lu Li dismissed all distractions and his gaze toward the distant coastline turned icy.

As the saying goes, one good turn deserves another.

He could abide by the agreement not to trouble those consortiums in the Ugly Country.

However, since the carrier battle group launched a multi-million-ton nuclear weapon, not retaliating would be unreasonable.

Indeed, Lu Li’s rapid flight is aimed at destroying the entire carrier battle group.

Moreover, to thoroughly deter the world’s evildoers this time, the method he’ll use to destroy the carrier battle group will definitely not be as mild as the previous annihilation by condensing ’volcanic ash’ subatomic particles.

Of course, he hasn’t prepared to condense ’anti-hydrogen particles’ for annihilation.

Because Lu Li feels that even condensing antimatter is still too mild.

If he considers antimatter mild, then what exactly is a truly violent method?

Yes, it is the annihilation of a domain!

Amid his thoughts, Lu Li had already arrived above the carrier battle group!

...

The war reporters certainly have no idea what Lu Li is up to.

After all, their high-powered telescopes have limited ranges and can’t observe the coastline from six hundred kilometers away.

The big shots of the Old Ugly Consortium are not like the media moguls.

They are currently fixated on the real-time satellite images being transmitted back...

Okay, there might be a little delay, but it’s relatively real-time.

The big shots of the Old Ugly Consortium were originally worried that the ancestor figure would fly back to the Ugly Country looking for trouble, leaving them all in a panic.

But what they never expected was that in such a short time, the ancestor figure had crossed over six hundred kilometers and arrived above the carrier battle group.

George was taken aback, ”What’s he going to do?”

Marcus Locke frowned, ”Could he be planning to destroy the carrier battle group?”

Lady Koch Du Pont gave a bitter smile, ”Let him destroy it, I believe he has the ability, but even if he destroys it, so what? We’ve already lost hundreds of billions of US Dollars, it doesn’t matter if we lose more.”
