Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1341: Chapter 8 Volume 8: Myth Shattered (Part 2)

Fei Alliance Hanjing Base, constructed in the southeast of Chuckna Hanjing, near the 3rd District of the Buyu River in the eastern Dragon Plain.

Originally, this was a training base for the Chuckna Hanjing Military District. After the outbreak of war, the Chuckna Military Department enclosed a nearby large airport and an undeveloped open space, expanding and transforming it into the cooperative base now exclusive for the Fei Alliance Joint Army.

Though called a base, it actually resembles a satellite city of Hanjing. Here, troops from various countries of the Fei Alliance are stationed, with numbers surpassing six million. Perhaps a Ryan Republic Armored Group, or a Silliac Federation flying team, or a Puditok Federation transport squadron... In sum, here you can find soldiers from every country you can think of.

As the largest among hundreds of cooperative bases in the Southeast Star Domain, Hanjing Base even hosts a small number of troops sent by Saleria Federation, Leray Federation, and Gazalin Republic.

Due to the war, people of different countries, faiths, and races gathered together to fight side by side.

They wear different uniforms, speak with various common language accents, and accept the unified command and dispatch of the Fei Alliance Supreme Command. Always ready to fight and sacrifice on any land they have never been to.

Perhaps only in such an era can there be such a magnificent union.

After the sneak attack in the Resk Star System, numerous troops continuously stationed in Chuckna Republic’s cooperative bases within. As Chuckna launched a counterattack, achieving a remarkable victory in the Canglang Star landing battle, the Supreme Command has already designated the Southeast Battle Zone as the priority battle zone for the Alliance forces, with more direct troops being deployed.

Where there are people, there are conflicts, close and distant relationships.

In Hanjing Base, the most numerous and dominant are the Feiyang Soldiers. These soldiers from Feiyang have always looked down upon soldiers from other smaller countries. Their equipment is the finest, their vessels are the most advanced, and the training they receive, the welfare benefits they enjoy are beyond the reach of ordinary Fei Alliance member countries.

More importantly, they come from the leader nation of the Fei Alliance. From the world’s largest superpower!

Plus, the Ryan Republic soldiers who always follow the Feiyang Republic’s lead have a mutual understanding with Feiyang Soldiers, making soldiers from these two countries naturally have more confidence and, or should say, certain privileges than their counterparts from other countries.

These privileges appear in various aspects, perhaps in the regular use of base training grounds, or in the allocation of logistical channels, or in transportation or resource assurance arrangements, or in the quality of housing barracks, or perhaps in the off-base bars, amidst the flirtatious glances from waitresses and the smiles from bartenders.

Although under one banner, each country’s generals exert utmost restraint, after all, these are young men full of vigor, always ready to sacrifice amidst gunfire and bombs; gathering in one base, inevitable conflicts occur due to their beliefs, customs, lifestyle habits, even minor trivialities.

Originally, the close relationship between Feiyang people and Ryan people already disadvantaged soldiers from other countries, and with many countries, due to diplomatic or other considerations, imposing particularly harsh penalties on their soldiers during conflicts with Feiyang soldiers, it leads to the soldiers from various countries not having a good view of Feiyang soldiers.

Thus, as can be imagined, when the bandit army’s First and Second Armored Divisions abruptly and unreasonably surrounded the entire 31st Army base, what a scene it would be in the Hanjing Joint Base.

The entire base was instantly thrown into chaos.

No one dared to believe their ears.

Warriors don’t understand much about this bandit army. Only knowing they are a group that looks like a ragtag bunch more than soldiers. Among them, apart from a portion being Leray soldiers, the majority are exiles from Mars.

The reputation of the Five Great Free Ports has never been good for a millennium. Everyone knows, in that world without resources or government, everything is governed by the naked law of the jungle. Children born there learn how to deceive, how to do evil. They are born as bad guys, their legitimate professions are pirates, smugglers, conmen, thieves, thugs, and gang members.

Unexpectedly, this group donned blue uniforms, boldly claimed to be the bandit army, and infiltrated the Fei Alliance Joint Base. Not only that, it’s heard that Fei Alliance’s first batch of Twelfth Generation Mechas will be equipped for them!

Only glimpsed this troop a few times, just formed an initial impression. Before they could figure out why Lord Military God has such high regard for this militia, it’s heard that this troop audaciously surrounded the Feiyang 31st Army Base!

They’ve seen arrogance before, but never such arrogance!

What is the Feiyang 31st Army? It’s the troop of the next generation military core, Admiral Leefer of Feiyang. The unit held by Faset, known as Little Leefer, ready to showcase its edge in the Southeast Star Domain.

The renown of the 31st Army is so great that even warriors from several small countries far in the northwest amongst Fei Alliance member countries know about it. Not to mention the Level 1 troops of the Leefer Legion, even the Level 2 and Level 3 troops, in many countries, are already of special-level troop standards.

In the Leefer Legion, each soldier undergoes nurturing training, not only having a firm and fearless conduct, but their military literacy is also far superior to ordinary troops.
