Chapter 1319: Chapter 65: Lofty Mountains and Steep Ridges (9)

With a loud explosion, the Jiepeng Spirit Cat in front was cut in half. The momentum of the blade didn’t decrease, and a long trench appeared out of nowhere in the mud, shooting straight into the distance.

The surrounding Mecha continued to charge recklessly.

”Kill!”

The ion light saber in the hand of the White Mecha warrior, casting over ten illusions, was invisible. The sluggish Jiepeng Mechas were instantly torn apart.

The Anubis in the Mecha Group was getting closer!

Vego’s fingers lightly tapped the armrest, observing the approaching troop.

Despite it being led by ten Super Mechas, the Red Mechs behind them continued to dwindle. On this short 400-meter path, nearly twenty Reds had fallen. The remaining Mechas were mostly battered, with their energy shields nearly depleted.

Vego didn’t move.

He closely watched the maneuvers of the White Mecha at the forefront, savoring and admiring them, with a cold smile on his lips.

One hundred meters, eighty meters....

More and more Jiepeng Mechas gathered in front of the White Mecha.

”Vego! You disgraceful monster! Come fight me fair and square?!”

Fatty’s nearly-desperate voice echoed across the battlefield, eliciting sneers from the Jiepeng people.

Vego sneered, clearly seeing that the opponent was at their wit’s end. The sharpness of this force was blunted. From now on, they could not advance another step. In due time, he would face this enemy, destined to be destroyed by him just as surely as it had destroyed him. He wondered, what expression would that Fatty have?

Suddenly, Vego’s expression froze.

Because he heard his own cold and stern voice rolling across the battlefield.

”Hold, let him through!”

The assault from the Red Mecha Group suddenly slowed, and the Jiepeng warriors surrounding them paused momentarily.

In that instant, two White Mechas suddenly rushed forward, violently grabbing Fatty’s Mecha’s legs and hurling him away.

Everyone saw only a flash of white light. The White Mecha, reaching mid-air, suddenly activated the auxiliary thruster, turned downward, and darted towards Anubis like lightning.

As the ion light saber of the White Mecha was about to strike the cockpit of the stunned Anubis, suddenly over a dozen Jiepeng Mechanical Violence units surrounding Anubis leaped up, launching a desperate attack on the White Mecha.

These tenth-generation Mechanical Violence units seemed to be prepared. Their reactions and movements were far faster than regular Jiepeng Mechanics, with extremely coordinated teamwork. Ten Mechas flashed towards the front of the White Mecha, half soaring ahead, half charging from the ground, forming a thick wall before Anubis.

”Three-Step Advance with Airborne Mid-side Kick.” An audience member, experienced in close-combat Mecha tactics, exclaimed.

The Jiepeng Mecha he saw accelerated to maximum speed with just three steps. In mid-air, it twisted, and the right mechanical leg shot out like a Meteor Hammer after a high knee-lift, aiming squarely at the head of the White Mecha! This move required a Level 9 Mecha Warrior, impossible without a hand speed over fifty actions.

While this viewer exclaimed, many others also voiced their differing, yet equally shocked reactions.

”Suspended Line-change.”

”Thirteen-Angle Chain Punch.”

”Super Short Range Vertical Eagle Strike.”

These Advanced Skills from Mechanical Control were as thunderous as a clear day.

The Jiepeng 2nd Armored Division, the second-ranked unit in the Jiepeng Army, finally unsheathed its sharpest dagger at the last moment!

This dagger was sharp enough to bleed and kill.

The Jiepeng people didn’t need to destroy the White Mecha; they just needed to slow him down to win!

Anubis had begun to retreat. Could the White Mecha, like a storm petrel, navigate through this thunderstorm and seize its prey?

In an instant, as these thoughts flashed through their minds, they saw the White Mecha suddenly twist every joint, causing the entire airborne body to abruptly roll into a Lazy Donkey Roll as if out of control.

This seemingly ungainly maneuver inconceivably dodged the airborne intercept from several Jiepeng Mechas in the nick of time. Then it abruptly angled downward towards the ground.

”Boom,” a loud crash with dust swirling around.

The White Mecha, having just landed, pushed off the ground, launching forward like a skipping stone on water, delivering a punch to the front of a Mechanical Violence unit, then forcibly twisting to kick another Mecha’s head, and before the move was completed, it collided with another Mecha like a cannonball.....

In the blink of an eye, the White Mecha executed five different attack moves in one second, creating five illusions, targeting five different objectives.

”Clang, clang, clang,” a succession of metallic crashes erupted, and the five Mechas attempted to block but were simultaneously blasted away.

As a streak of white light tore through the void, Anubis, retreating into the Mecha Group, had its cockpit slashed open.
