Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1304: Chapter 54: Kill

”Beep beep beep...”

As the cry of battle exploded in the ears, all the Jiepeng Mechas’ mechanical computers simultaneously emitted urgent warning sounds.

Amidst this deathly noise, communications suddenly ceased, and the command coordination system immediately failed. The computer screens twisted wildly under intense electronic attacks, and the computer-assisted system for mechanical control experienced crashes, program errors, erratic power output, and even complete breakdowns.

”Contract the formation!” Sablin immediately issued the order.

His command spread through the chaos via the mecha loudspeakers and the shouts of the surrounding mech knights.

The Blade Camp’s mechanical warriors engaged in skirmishes all around began to contract in unison. Despite encountering an unexpected ambush, the entire camp did not fall into panic. The formation contracted in an orderly manner. Even Baz, leading the First Company, desperately tried to delay their contraction at this critical moment but could not succeed.

The red mechas rolling down the hillside have all emerged.

A hundred vehicles... two hundred vehicles... no more than two hundred and forty vehicles! After waiting for a moment, no more red appeared on the bald hillside! Sablin’s heart, stuck in his throat, finally settled down. With blood rushing and heart pounding like thunder, the only thought repeating in his mind was luck.

At this moment, escape is not an option. Not to mention that when the ambush began, the hill on the left side of the gorge was already guarded by a simultaneously appearing Chuckna Armored Forces, the tangled and mutually slaughtering situation in front of him left no room for him to make a retreat mistake. In such a situation, retreat would mean a rout.

Sablin surveyed the surroundings. After the initial shock and uncertainty, this most elite armored camp of the Second Armored Division quickly regained its composure. The warriors’ movements remained smooth and concise, cooperation remained seamless, and the formation remained intact. As the formation contracted, a confidence and momentum arising from collective calmness and composure was spreading.

This is the difference between elite and ordinary soldiers! This is the difference between the Blade Camp and ordinary combat units!

The elite of the Blade Camp not only are manifested in individual combat skills. These warriors have lived and fought together through many battles. Their rich experience, mutual trust, seamless cooperation, strict discipline, when combined, is the fundamental strength of this group.

Facing the suddenly appearing Chuckna Armored Forces, the entire Blade Camp simply fought silently. Under communication interference, the instructions of grassroots officers rang one after another. Simple and precise instructions were promptly executed without delay. Even without instructions, the warriors of the Blade Camp knew what to do and how to do it!

They have experienced such situations too many times. Whether encountering ambush, tasked with rear-guard stronghold attacks, or being air-dropped into enemy heavy forces, what kind of hard battle have they not fought? The Special Forces Camp, born to shoulder the toughest tasks. To think the Blade Camp would collapse due to a surprise attack, just hundreds of mechas alone could never achieve that!

”Bitches, you’re doomed!” The sharp-tongued Baz yelled, striking more ruthlessly, and in just those short ten-plus seconds, two Spirit Cats had already fallen to him. With the cooperation of the infantry and Mombarton, the three white Thunderbolts whipped up a bloody storm within the Jiepeng Mecha Group. Whoever they approached, none could escape!

”Doomed?” Sablin coldly sneered repeatedly. On the surface, the Blade Camp seemed trapped by ambushers in front, interceptors behind, and besieged by a relentless company in the middle. Indeed, it was a perilous situation. However, he was not worried at all. Behind the Blade Camp were two camps from the second regiment. It was impossible for that lone company on Hill 132 to block the consecutive attacks from two camps, and the so-called ambush forces ahead were only equivalent in number to the Blade Camp. To annihilate the Blade Camp, they were dreaming!

If the Chuckna people did not have more ambush troops, they would pay for their recklessness with their lives. They would realize how ridiculous such an ambush was to the Blade Camp.

This was moths to a flame! Not only must they utterly fail their ambush, but their mechas must be seized, and they must be completely annihilated. The fame of the Second Armored Division and Blade Camp must be etched into the hearts of all Chuckna people. Whenever they think of it, they should be scared out of their wits! At the same time, that insolent fellow before him must pay the most painful price.

”You’re the ones who are doomed! With such meager strength, you want to ambush us?” Sablin snarled with a grin: ”Everyone listen, this battle must completely annihilate the enemy forces. First Company, attack formation, get up there!”

”Yes!” With a booming unanimous response, the entire Blade Camp’s offensive grew sharper. All warriors charged forward recklessly. On the left wing, the Blade Camp’s First Company, already freed from Baz’s unit entanglement under the cover of companions, adopted a robust defensive formation, advancing against the rushing red mecha group.

”Coil you bloody flower!” Seeing the Jiepeng Mecha Group standing guardedly against his charge, Fatty nearly jumped out of his skin with rage. Charging forward and hearing that doghead mecha shout and yell at the last moment, anger surged from his heart, his courage grew, and he leaped his mecha violently, swinging a punch like Mount Tai crashing down.

With a loud boom, the entire valley seemed to tremble under the earth-shattering punch.
