Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 271: Volume 4 Chapter 40 Interception (2) Former Legion Commander_3

Fatty curled his lips and said, ”You should say, he’s the only person you trust right now.” He connected to the communication device and said to James, ”I think you should recognize Zola’s voice, he should also execute any of your orders unconditionally, right?”

”Your Majesty...” A vigorous voice came through the communicator.

Seeing James nod, Fatty used James’ voice and said, ”General Zola, I’m very safe now, I’ve understood the situation outside, I need your cooperation. My order is, do not let any troops enter the prison. Now, there’s a sign of troop activity to the north of the prison. If that’s your troops, stop and guard, if not, eliminate them!”

”As you command, Your Majesty.”

Fatty put away the communicator and smiled at James, ”The scale of this Miracle Army is only two percent of the Mythical Army. You’d better pray they can help somewhat, but from the sound of it, that General Zola doesn’t seem too old to move.”

Zola was driving a heavily modified [Mad Dragon], charging forward at the forefront.

Since he left the Mythical Army, this was the first time he charged in a live-fire situation for many years.

As an over seventy-year-old veteran, still maintaining a hand speed of thirty-five actions per second, Zola was very satisfied with his performance.

Swiftly avoiding a couple of [Three-headed Dog]’s shots, [Mad Dragon] advanced at high speed in a peculiar posture. In the blink of an eye, the two exaggerated-looking [Mad Dragons] crashed into the [Three-headed Dog]’s embrace. Like a porcupine, the spikes on [Mad Dragon] pierced into the external armor of the [Three-headed Dog].

Then, almost reaching out to penetrate the cockpit and destroy everything inside, [Mad Dragon] left all the warriors following him in astonishment.

Zola, the former Supreme Commander of the Mythical Army, did not choose to end the fight simply. On the contrary, this was just the beginning of the battle!

With a loud shout from Zola, the ion light saber in [Mad Dragon]’s hand emitted a dazzling glow fueled by surging energy. The relatively large body and greater engine power of the [Three-headed Dog] were completely useless at this moment. It was so fragile in the face of absolute speed... Its mechanical leg was severed in one stroke, and its arms had left the body before its legs.

One stroke, a circular stroke, and the two [Three-headed Dogs] became an irregular metal ball with only the torso remaining.

The several [Holy Armor 22] beside the [Three-headed Dog] didn’t have time to change their firing lines with [Mad Dragon]’s advance, losing track of [Mad Dragon]’s shadow. Following that, the [Three-headed Dog], with sparks coming from its severed end, was pushed madly by [Mad Dragon], forcefully breaking a gap in the Glarenz Force’s mecha formation.

Energy cannons, missiles, rampaged madly in the small and chaotic formation. With a violent explosion, the [Three-headed Dog]’s energy shield turned red and finally was destroyed. After the explosion, the mechas of the Glarenz Force saw that the ferocious [Mad Dragon], like a mad tiger, had already penetrated the center of the mecha formation.

Behind it was a path of blood and fire, where three [Holy Armor 22] had already fallen!

[Mad Dragon] didn’t pause for a moment. It was like a starving wolf breaking into a flock of sheep, sprinting rapidly. Its left hand smashed the left cabin of a [Holy Armor 22] while the ion light saber in its right hand cut another [Holy Armor 22] in half, and the energy cannon mouth on its shoulders and waist were pouring fierce firepower at a [Poison Insect] ahead of it.

However, the distance between it and the [Poison Insect] was less than twenty meters!

Firing at such close range was complete mutual destruction. The pilot of this [Mad Dragon] was simply a maniac!

Violent explosions continued to erupt on the heavily armored [Poison Insect], and the barrage of attacks quickly turned its energy shield dark red. The [Poison Insect]’s body trembled in the blinding flashes, and the shock waves and fragments from the explosions affected all the mechas within tens of meters around.

That [Mad Dragon] was no exception. It was blown away by the shock wave, its energy shield also turned a shade just lighter than the [Poison Insect]’s deep red. In mid-air, the terrifying [Mad Dragon] adjusted its posture slightly, ”Whoosh!”, a missile shot out with thick white smoke. After a brief pause, it suddenly darted out. The [Poison Insect] had no chance; the dozens of meters were too short, short enough for the missile to hit the target as soon as it was launched.

In the soaring explosion and flames, [Mad Dragon]’s energy shield turned deep red. During its backflip, it effortlessly chopped down a [Holy Armor 22] and exited the battle, returning to the group of furiously advancing [Mad Dragons].

Tian Xingjian stood on the rooftop of the prison building. [Logic]’s scanner was nervously analyzing the structure of a [Mad Dragon]. Fatty, mimicking the [Mad Dragon]’s movements, smiled slightly at the corner of his mouth, ”The best way to deal with a madman is to be even crazier than him!”
