Chapter 974: Chapter 344: Herb Baked Eggs (Two-in-One Chapter)_4

On one side, the person in charge of Cameron’s caravan, the chubby Yannis, who by his physique was clearly an expert in food, had long been watching the distinguished guests from the side.

Seeing that Rein seemed to want more, he promptly and attentively offered carefully selected grilled salmon and grilled lamb chops.

After some casual chat, Merita also learned that Rein and Anna’s destination happened to be the Frostwind Prairie, with Winterfort Academy located at the northernmost part of the prairie, which was quite on the way.

…

After enjoying dinner, Rein took the initiative to speak:

“If Madam Merita is heading to the Northland….”

Rein initially intended to say he could give her a ride, but swallowed his words.

Because he suddenly thought, although Blood Feather could easily take another woman, it might cause misunderstandings with Anna.

“Then let’s part ways here.”

Hmm?

In Merita’s eyes, full of anticipation, came such an abrupt turn of events!

She was so disappointed.

She originally thought Rein was inviting her to ride the Horned Owl Beast!

Such a strong Horned Owl Beast should have no problem carrying one more person, right?

“Pfft! Rein, just let Merita ride with you.” Anna couldn’t help but laugh out loud after hearing Rein’s words.

“Uh… alright!”

Rein then transformed the Hardened Essence Gold in his hand into a metal seat with hooks and said to Merita: “In that case, Madam Merita, I’ll add a chair beneath the Horned Owl Beast for you to sit on.”

At this moment, Merita looked at Rein with a speechless expression.

This was too much!

To avoid disturbing their time together, he wanted her to sit alone below.

“Rein, why not just let Merita sit behind you? Why make it so complicated?!” Anna tugged on Rein’s clothes and persuaded him.

“Uh…”

It’s just that I’m afraid you’ll misunderstand, Rein thought.

Since Anna didn’t mind, he naturally didn’t mind having a beautiful witch sit behind him.

“Miss Anna, thank you for speaking up.” Merita quickly walked over to Anna, took Anna’s hand, and said warmly.

“Actually, Rein is a really nice guy.” Anna was momentarily unaccustomed to this sudden familiarity.

…..

After bidding farewell to Cameron’s caravan, with Merita sitting behind him, Rein controlled Blood Feather, soaring high into the sky, aiming directly for the Beverly Pass in Casweis Province.

As they took off, the body of the Horned Owl Beast undulated up and down, causing Merita to have to hold onto Rein’s waist.

It seemed that since it was her first time on a flying mount, Merita was still a bit nervous and uncomfortable.

With each beat of the Blood Feathered Horned Eagle, sometimes Merita’s chest pressed against Rein’s back, sometimes creating some distance.

This made Rein uncomfortable.

If you could just stay close the whole time or maintain the distance, that would be better.

But this occasional closeness….

Rein could clearly feel that kind of pressure from behind…

“Is she here for a ride?”

“Or maybe here to tease?”

Soon, Rein started feeling a bit hot…

Stand at attention!

Just like a chain reaction, Anna, sitting in Rein’s arms, blushed suddenly.

She had experienced this feeling last time.

This time, there was no mistaking what that was?

Perhaps, if it was just the two of them, Anna might not be so shy.

After all, after last time, she was a bit more mentally prepared.

But this time, there were three people….

In no time, Anna’s whole face turned red, leaning softly against Rein’s chest, while Rein didn’t feel much happiness at this moment…..

Carrying two people instead of one became a kind of agony.

One couldn’t possibly do anything with Anna in front of a stranger…

Moreover, the herbal omelet… it seemed to be quite a stimulant….

Rein instantly regretted it.

….
