Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys

Chapter 970: Chapter 343 Lava Dog (Double-length Chapter)_4

...

Just as the two were leaving, the entire caravan quickly adjusted and was about to set off, when they heard frequent beast roars and commotion coming from the back of the convoy.

”Boom!”

Several groups of fire lights flickered at the rear, and two figures in black robes were seen running frantically towards the caravan. One of them had a burning Flame Shield on, while the other had pale cyan currents swirling around their legs, clearly the effect of Swift Wind.

Suddenly, several head-sized Fireballs attacked from behind, causing both to hurriedly dodge in embarrassment.

But the male wizard with the Flame Shield seemed unable to evade in time and was hit by a Fireball. Although his innate wizardry repelled it, he staggered, almost falling.

As he was adjusting his posture, a huge Fireball, two sizes larger than the previous ones, attacked from behind again.

”Ah!!”

The male wizard immediately turned into a fiery figure, staggered a few steps, and then fell heavily to the ground, no longer moving.

The other returned with a terrified expression, shouting in panic, ”Two-headed lava dogs, right behind us!”

What?!

Sure enough, a gigantic two-headed lava dog over three meters tall, leading four or five regular lava dogs, emerged from the darkness at the rear, causing the entire caravan to panic at once.

The caravan’s guards, including the well-equipped Cornes Mercenary Group, all turned pale.

After all, the strength of the lava dogs already exceeded the limits of their ability to fight.

Not to mention the obviously stronger two-headed lava dog, even handling the four regular lava dogs seemed too challenging for the entire caravan at the moment.

Hearing the commotion from the back of the caravan, Rein rushed to the rear of the convoy. Perhaps faintly sensing the dangerous aura emanating from Rein, the two-headed lava dog watched him without launching an immediate attack.

”Another one on the left!” someone within the caravan exclaimed.

Another gigantic two-headed lava dog emerged on the left side of the caravan, leading three or four regular lava dogs, gazing at the caravan as if looking at prey.

”I told you to retreat quickly, and now we’re surrounded.” The male wizard who had survived by luck seemed very agitated, cursing at Merita.

”Damn! We’re doomed now!”

There are actually two two-headed lava dogs, a male and a female!

What are we going to do?

”Two? Running into this kind of situation?!”

Merita’s face turned pale in an instant!

At the same time, she made an immediate decision in her heart.

Looks like I have to use that item...

”Lord Rein, I’ll hold them off on the left side for a while; please quickly take care of the other one!”

Merita, with a pained expression, swiftly pulled out a transparent ice crystal the size of a finger from her bosom and began to chant quickly.

”(Akadian) Great Ice Spirit, please heed my call....”

A large swirl of pure white air currents appeared in front of her. Soon, a creature over three meters tall, condensed from a Blizzard, appeared before everyone.

Its upper body was humanoid, with its lower half being a vortex of rapidly swirling cold air, without eyes or nose on its face, only a hollow circular mouth emitting a piercing howl of cold wind.

”Blizzard Element!”

Merita thought that even if Rein were strong, he couldn’t possibly be a match for two two-headed lava dogs.

The current situation could only be prolonged by her as much as possible, allowing Lord Rein to kill one two-headed lava dog first.

But there were still so many regular lava dogs on the scene...

Even after summoning the killer trump card Blizzard Element, Merita wasn’t confident they could hold them off.

But in the next second, a mournful beast howl came, and as Merita looked up, she was stunned on the spot.

”This... this....”

Dozens of meters ahead, the two-headed lava dog had already fallen into a pool of blood, its forehead pierced through, and both heads were gushing dark red blood.

Its death mirrored that of the previous lava dogs!

The other regular lava dogs seemed to be in some sort of shock, stupidly staring at the figure that killed their leader, not moving at all!

Merita rubbed her eyes and looked again; no mistake, the two-headed lava dog was indeed dead!

Merita suddenly had a sense that the entire scene felt a bit unreal.

Could it be that she was caught in a mystical creature’s illusion?

Merita pinched the palm of her hand hard, and it was only when the stab of pain hit her that she became clear-headed again.

This unbelievable scene before her was actually real.
