Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys

Chapter 971: Chapter 344: Herb Baked Eggs (Two-in-One Chapter)

At this moment, Rein was just transforming the forked sword in his hand back into the form of a regular dual-handed greatsword.

Just now, he fully executed the top secret technique ’Shadow Step’ and appeared before the two-headed lava dog at the back of the caravan with lightning speed resembling the fastest of storms. The greatsword in his hand suddenly forked and flashed with two silver lights, directly piercing into both of the creature’s heads.

The entire action sequence happened so swiftly that it took less than 0.3 seconds.

But within it were techniques like ’Shadow Step’, ’Metal Morphing Spell’, ’Sharpness Technique’, and the method resembling a riding spear’s ’Armor-Breaking Strike’ in the thrust of the forked sword.

That’s why it achieved this jaw-dropping effect right before their eyes.

The two-headed lava dog, with powers comparable to a Second Level Liquidization Wizard, only felt a flash before its eyes, not even realizing what happened before being killed by Rein in a single strike!

The ordinary lava dogs behind it were still frozen in place, a bit confused about the situation.

”Roar!!!”

But the other two-headed lava dog attacking from the left side of the caravan saw its mate being killed and immediately roared in anger.

Although it felt that human was very strong, anger had already filled its mind at this moment.

”Boom!!!”

As flames surged from its body, comparable to a giant bull, a circular shockwave exploded outwards, instantly blasting several caravan guards who were too close into the air. Simultaneously, while still in mid-air, they were engulfed in blazing flames!

”Ah! Ah!”

Screams immediately followed! The entire caravan began to panic.

”Courting death!”

The indiscriminate area attack from the opponent made Rein’s eyes narrow. Leaving behind seven or eight afterimages, he instantly arrived a few meters in front of the second two-headed lava dog.

”Shhh!!”

However, this time the opponent was prepared. Facing Rein’s extremely fast assault, this two-headed lava dog quickly opened its two huge mouths and began to spit, each displaying a different fire talent ability.

One head spewed a long fire snake shooting out, while the other launched a giant fireball larger than a basin.

The fire snake and fireball rushed toward Rein, moving so fast they almost reached in the blink of an eye!

”Watch out! Dodge quickly!” Merita immediately shouted to warn.

Previously, the white-robed witch Merita had not seen how Rein killed the first two-headed lava dog.

Because her attention back then was focused on the second two-headed lava dog on the left side.

This time, however, she saw everything clearly.

No, it would be more accurate to say she still didn’t see it clearly, only able to catch Rein’s series of afterimages, but she did understand Rein’s incredibly fast speed.

Yet, Rein did not slow down at all, leaving a white streak, charging straight towards the opponent without any intention of dodging.

In the horrified gaze of Merita.

Suddenly, three dark silver kite shields formed on Rein’s body and quickly overlapped in the front.

At the same time, the fireball and fire snake struck Rein.

”Boom! Boom!!”

The giant fireball and fire snake instantly shattered two kite shields, but upon reaching the third, its strength waned considerably. Although the shield was still broken, it was much slower.

The remaining flames were then crushed by a silver hand!

In an instant, Rein was just a few meters away from the two-headed lava dog.

”Swish!”

Suddenly, there appeared two identical images of Rein, one moving left and the other right. Almost simultaneously, two silver arcs flashed across the two necks of the two-headed lava dog.

Merita blinked, and the next second she saw Rein standing before the two-headed lava dog, seemingly without having done anything!

But soon, she realized it wasn’t an illusion.

”Thump! Thump!”

Two sounds of heavy objects hitting the ground were heard in succession!

Everyone fixed their eyes on it!

Good heavens! The two-headed lava dog had become a headless lava dog, with dark red fountains of blood spouting from its two necks. Its gigantic body, comparable to a giant bull, swayed and then collapsed powerlessly.

Since it wasn’t a Dragon Descendant, Rein naturally didn’t indulge in a bloodbath.

He gave a slight shake to the dual-handed greatsword in his hand, and the blade was once again as smooth and gleaming as before.

Seeing their leaders dealt with, the two groups of ordinary lava dogs tucked their tails and fled in panic.

Rein, having no interest in chasing completely harmless ordinary lava dogs.

”What... what level is this strength!”

”Incredible!” Merita murmured excitedly.

”What’s more, the opponent actually used the rare metal series witchcraft!”

Merita had clearly seen the change in Rein’s weapon, and the metallic energy particle wave that flickered with a flash of silver light.

It must be understood that a Metal Series Wizard is even rarer than she, an Ice Mage.

Suddenly, Merita thought of something, looking at the blizzard element she just summoned beside her, ready to cry!

”Oh my God! I wasted a precious Ice and Snow Core!” she lamented in pain.

An entire year’s effort, wasted!

That had been her treasured ace in the hole.

Meanwhile, the male wizard who had already retreated into the caravan guards, always ready to slip away amidst the chaos, was dumbfounded staring at the fallen two-headed lava dog in front.

He looked again at that tall and burly figure.
