Chapter 851: No Title!

Puchi!

A piercing sound rang in the silence of the forest as the demon pierced his heart with the knife.

”ARGH!”

This time, the demon couldnʼt stop himself from screaming as the pain was unbearable. The knife not only crushed his heart; it was also burning his soul.

As the demon took the knife out, it was covered in his blood.

The demon then threw the knife at the altar.

Chi chi chi!

The altar finally started to move, and a burning sound rang through the area. The demon hurriedly took a bunch of materials out of his space ring and devoured them in no time.

This time, the injury didnʼt heal entirely, as the knife had burned his source of life. It was just that he got some relief from the unbearable pain attacking him.

Some colors returned to the demonʼs face as he focused on the altar. Aakesh, who still hadnʼt deactivated the skills, could still see the same number of black fate lines connected to the demon.

Aakesh continued to look at the scene, and at the same time, he got ready to intervene at any time. Now that the ritual had finally begun to show results, Aakeshʼs full focus was on the safety of the demon.

Gurgle gurgle gurgle!

As the vials of blood started to slowly and one by one start to vanish from the altar, a strange noise rang out in the area.

After the drop of blood would disappear, there would be cracks on the imprinted fiend that had received the sacrifice. Following the blood devouring, the demonʼs material began to slowly melt into the imprinted fiend.

A few minutes later, all the imprinted fiends had received the sacrifice, except for the one who got the diluted blood, and the demonʼs heart blood as the sacrifice.

The altar had now cracked into several cracks. Some were wide, while some were shallow. But there was one thing similar to every crack: it released an evil feeling.

Even Aakesh, who seemed to not care what other people did, was turned off by the aura coming from the many cracks.

Even though Aakesh felt repulsed, the thought of stopping the demon never entered Aakeshʼs heart. He didnʼt care about the chaos the ritual might cause in Panagea.

The sole fiend imprint that hadnʼt cracked was still in the midst of devouring the diluted blood. Aakesh could see a strange scene occurring.

The demonʼs heart blood was pulling the diluted blood to it while the material was also melting into it. Aakesh looked at the demon in a new light. Even with blood that had been diluted, it was not an easy task to win the battle. At this point, even Aakesh was unsure if his drop of blood would win.

In the end, a brand-new material was produced when the previous three materials got combined. The fiendʼs devouring speed suddenly grew as if it were the thing it was waiting for.

Crack!

Cracking sounds began to ring in the area as the altar started to shake at an unprecedented rate, while the evil aura leaking from it also grew disproportionately.

The Red-spotted Demon had an unexplainable smile on his face as he looked at the altar. He had been preparing for this opportunity for several thousand years, and finally, today was the day when he would succeed and change his destiny.

CRACK!

Suddenly the altar cracked in two, and dense black smoke began to rise. If someone were to look closely, they would see silhouettes of the imprinted fiends on the altar through the smoke.

Aakesh felt a sense of familiarity when he looked at the smoke. He realized he had seen this scene before. Suddenly, his mouth flew wide open in shock as he found where he got the sense of familiarity.

When Aakesh had entered Panagea for the first time, an Angel had welcomed him and shared with him the basic history of the world.

How due to the darkness hidden in the ten Emperorʼs heart, a terrifying creature had taken birth. In the end, the Emperors failed to defeat the entity they created, and they had no choice but to seal the creature.

The adventurers needed to find the inheritances placed by the Emperor and then defeat the entity, the combined efforts of the Emperors couldnʼt.

In that scene, Aakesh had also seen some background on the war between Vritrasura and the Ten Emperors. The fiends Aakesh saw in the black smoke were the same as many of the fiends he saw in the war.

The system had said in straight words that Aakesh wasnʼt to get the Emperorʼs inheritance or join Vritrasura since he had an advantage no other adventurers had. Since the ritual was related to Vritrasura in some way, Aakesh could no longer intervene even if the demon reached on the verge of death.

At the same time, Aakesh couldnʼt help but scoff at the foolish behavior of the demon. It was known to everyone that Vritrasura wanted the complete extinction of lifeforms in Panagea. Providing assistance to Vritrasura was the same as ensuring oneʼs own demise.

But since these had nothing to do with Aakesh, he stopped thinking about them. He now only focused on the ritual. He wanted the demon to succeed so his class could get upgraded today.

Eerie waves of laughter rang in the area as the smoke became denser. The smoke reached twice the height of the demon, but for some reason, it stopped growing any further.

BOOM!

Suddenly a loud explosion rang in the area as the two pieces of altar exploded into a cloud. It then joined the smoke, making it darker and denser.

The Red-spotted Demon, suddenly kneeled down with utmost sincerity. His face touched the ground.

The black smoke began to gather into a shape. Since Aakesh was here from the start, he found the form of the smoke to be similar to the fiend that had received the diluted blood in sacrifice.

”Hehe! So long!”

A voice laced with evil rang in the area the next moment. If there were someone here, they would have melted just from hearing the voice.

Even Aakesh felt uncomfortable when he heard the voice. It seemed as if countless screeches were attacking him at the same time.

As Aakesh was looking at the smoke, he suddenly found the figure formed by the smoke looking in his direction. The next moment, Aakeshʼs eyes clashed with the fiendʼs eyes.
