The First Store System

Chapter 877: A New Day for the Store(5)

”The store sets the productʼs price to make the trade fair and unbiased,” Aakesh seemed unaffected by Ashleyʼs reaction.

Ashley couldnʼt help but heave a sigh of relief, thinking that she was fortunate that the store owner wasnʼt like her. At that moment, Ashley had a stumped reaction as she asked herself why she was insulting herself in her heart. It isnʼt as though Ashley didnʼt know about her overbearing personality. She knew it and still did it because she liked it. What was there to insult oneself about your likes?

Ashley seemed to have started a monologue in her heart at that time, which she stopped not long after, remembering that she was in the store.

”Sorry, Aakesh, I didnʼt mean to suspect your storeʼs policy.” Ashely apologized, as she didnʼt want to let any bad feelings stay in Aakeshʼs heart after learning about Panagea. Even though she was doubtful about the grand introduction, some part of her heart still believed that what Aakesh said was the truth.

ʼThe best way to make sure that the store owner doesnʼt dislike you is to buy products from the store. If they didnʼt turn out to be what was introduced by Aakesh, then I will make him apologize for making me doubt myself and also get the ten thousand times compensation.ʼ

A smile spread across Ashleyʼs face as she thought about her next action. She seemed to have thought of a plan where she wouldnʼt lose no matter what side the result came out.

”Aakesh, tell me more about the pills,” Ashley asked.

To make a purchase, Ashley chose the pills for two reasons. First, the pillʼs cost was cheaper when compared with weapons and the cultivation arts. Even though there was a compensation rate in case things went the other way, there were still chances that the store owner would refuse to hand over the compensation. She didnʼt want to see the latter happen, so even if it did, she would only lose a few lesser Sacred stones.

Aakesh heard what he was waiting for, so without wasting any time, he began to read the details of the pills currently available in the store.

”First-grade lesser body healing pill: The pill can heal minor injuries up to peak Divine Being, while it would only work for Divine Lords if taken in large numbers. It costs 10 lesser Sacred stones.

First-grade lesser mental healing pill: The pill can heal minor mental traumas up to peak Divine Being. It would only work for Divine Lords when taken in large numbers. It cost 15 lesser Sacred stones.

First-grade lesser soul healing pill: The pill can heal minor soul injuries up to peak Divine Being. It would only work for the Divine Lords when taken in large numbers. It cost 25 lesser Sacred stones.

First-grade lesser energy meditation pill: It helps the user in their meditation up to peak Divine Being. This pill didnʼt work for Divine Lords. It cost 10 lesser Sacred stones.

First-grade lesser energy purification pill: It helps the user purify the impurities mixed in their energy up to peak Divine Being. This pill doesnʼt work for Divine Lords. It cost 50 lesser Sacred stones.”

Aakesh introduced all five pills in one breath and then looked at Ashley, waiting for her to take her pick and buy them.

Ashley, who had only asked about the pills, considering the worst situation, stood frozen once again after hearing about the pills, especially the last one.

”> Ashley had used energy purification pills since they were necessary if she wanted to reach the Divine Lord. Even though the pill currently sold by Aakesh didnʼt work for her, the low price still surprised her.

Even the worst kind of lesser purification pill went around fifty lesser Sacred stones. And here, she could get the first grade at that price.

As for the other pills, they didnʼt interest her that much.

”I want a hundred energy purification pills,” Ashley said after considering the number of stones she could take out at once.

Time flew by, and Ashley finally bought three energy purification pills after Aakesh bluntly refused.

Now that the pill sale was over, Ashley decided to test Panagea and its truth. There were still weapons and the cultivation art room left, but she decided to check it later since they were of the Lesser grade and useless to her.

The next moment, Ashley paid thirty-five lesser Sacred stones to Aakesh and went toward the portal room after Aakesh explained to her the process to enter.

As soon as Ashley left, Ricky approached Aakesh, asking about the new products.

Since Ricky wasnʼt a Divine Lord, all three new products would help him. Aakeh first told him about the pills.

Ricky wasnʼt rich like Ashley, so he only carried a few ordinary stones with him all the time, and even that was more than half of his wealth after he splurged a large chunk of it in the time chamber for physical training for the quest.

Ricky wanted to buy three pills from all categories, but his wealth stopped him from making any troublesome decisions.

In the end, Ricky decided to buy two body-healing pills and one mental and soul-healing pill. From the pills, his bill came to sixty lesser Sacred stones, which was almost what he would spend on him to enter Panagea for two days.

Ricky decided to save for energy meditation and energy purification pills since his financial health didnʼt allow him to buy them at the moment.

Since Ricky couldnʼt even buy three pills from each category, he decided against buying weapons or cultivation arts. He instead paid the sum for Panagea and went toward the portal room, filling the spot for all three portals.

Ricky made the same decision as the two former Panagea customers to examine weapons and cultivation arts after leaving Panagea.

Only a few minutes had gone by after Ricky entered Panagea, and Garos came rushing inside the store. He first looked at his wife. After seeing that there was no change in how he left her, he heaved a sigh of relief.

Several seconds later, Garos joined his wife in the corner after learning that all three of Panageaʼs spots had been filled.
