The First Store System

Chapter 870: Rules!!!

Aakesh touched the lock of the next room, and similar to what happened the last time, the door got unlocked automatically.

Aakesh stepped forward and entered the room.

The room had similar aesthetics to the weapons room, but there were no pillars present. Countless murals adorned the walls, giving the room a graceful yet ancient appearance.

Aakesh ignored the murals for now and focused on his primary purpose for entering the room.

Aakeshʼs eyes then fell on the shelves lying in the middle of the room.

There were five shelves placed there, with a distance of one meter between each of them.

The five shelves represented the five types of cultivation arts in the Sacred dimension.

The five types of cultivation arts were: Lesser, Higher, Supreme, King, and Emperor, with the Lesser grade being the lowest and the Emperor grade being the highest.

The material used in the making of the shelf was the same as what was used in the Primal dimension: Aruval. But the material here was of a higher grade.

Even if the energy released by the cultivation arts was of the lowest lesser grade, it was still too much for the Aruval of the Primal Dimension to bear. And the higher the level of the cultivation arts, the stronger the energy leaking from them became.

In the Primal dimension, only the energy leaking could be seen from Legendary, Mythical, and Immortal grade cultivation arts. But that wasnʼt the case here; even at the lowest level, he could see a higher quantity outflow.

A cultivator reading a book was imprinted on each of the five shelves.

Even though there were five shelves present in the room, four shelves gave a feeling of emptiness to Aakesh.

Aakesh didnʼt have to think of a reason for feeling this way. The system had been conservative in the Sacred dimension, as the third phase was supposed to play out in sequence from low to high.

Aakesh went toward the only shelf that didnʼt give him the feeling of emptiness: the Lesser Grade cultivation arts.

The shelf reached Aakeshʼs thigh, so he had to slightly bend down to take out a cultivation art from it.

The next moment, a page similar to what it looked like in the Primal dimension was in Aakeshʼs hands.

[Name- The Mountain and Sea Art,

Grade- Lesser grade,

Type: Qi-cultivation system,

Details: In the Mountain and Sea Art, the cultivator uses Qi to have the strength of a mountain in their fist while having the agility of crossing the sea in a single jump.

Users: Divine Transformation & Divine Being.

Price: 500 ordinary Sacred stones.]

When Aakesh read the details of the cultivation art, he raised his eyes in surprise.

The Mountain and Sea Art was the same cultivation art that Aakesh had randomly gotten on his first try in the Primal dimension.

Aakesh then stopped thinking about it and focused on the details.

In the Sacred dimension, the power system was different, but the levels had the same names. Similar to the Primal dimension, this art focused on the Qi here as well.

Aakesh couldnʼt help but grow surprised when he read the price of the cultivation art. Even a Lesser Grade cultivation art like this cost several hundred ordinary Sacred stones.

Keep in mind that the currency wasnʼt depreciated as much in the Sacred dimension as it was in the Primal dimension.

Aakesh remembered that the same Mortal gradeʼs cultivation art cost fifty ordinary Primal stones. But here the cost for the lowest level cultivation art had grown by ten times.

Aakesh then took out a few other cultivation arts, and as usual, their price was in a similar range. The most expensive even crossed the mark of a thousand ordinary Sacred stones, while the cheapest found by Aakesh was around four hundred ordinary Sacred stones.

(A/N: Ordinary= 1000 lesser!)

Aakesh had expected the cultivation art to rage as it did in the Primal dimension after he got it. But after seeing the price of the cultivation arts, his hope dashed like someone pouring cold water on fire. It would not only douse the fire but also release a slight chill.

The vast majority in Thorr City hadnʼt even come across an ordinary Sacred stone; forget about them being able to take out hundreds of ordinary stones.

Even Garos, a Divine Lord, wasnʼt that rich. The total wealth Aakesh received in compensation from him was around one hundred ordinary Sacred stones.

The cultivation arts were bound to rage but in a wealthier city. Aakesh didnʼt see a future for the cultivation arts in Thorr City anytime in the future.

”Hey, system, why are cultivation arts this expensive?” Aakesh asked the system.

From what Aakesh had learned, the Sacred dimension didnʼt have problems with cultivation like the Primal dimension. The only reason Aakesh could think of the arts being expensive was the conservative characters of the inhabitants of the Primal dimension.

Knowledge in the Sacred dimension wasnʼt as open as it was in the Primal dimension.

Even in the Primal dimension, cultivation arts were linked to specific families, and they didnʼt share it with anyone other than family members: the scene seemed to be even stricter in the Sacred dimension.

Aakeshʼs conjecture turned out to be correct as the systemʼs response matched what he thought.

The knowledgeʼs value in the Sacred dimension was several times higher than what it was in the Primal dimension, and it was all due to a war that occurred countless years ago.

The war Vritrasura waged had engulfed all three dimensions. The Sacred dimension also bore brunt of that war. The casualty estimated in the war was around three-fourths of the total population.

Those who remained became conservative with their knowledge. The population still hadnʼt gotten over the blow it was dealt countless years ago.

Aakesh didnʼt care about the history since he had nothing to do with it. The cultivation arts were bound to explode, even if it didnʼt happen in the near future, but it would happen. And once it happened, there would be no taking back.

”Hey, system, is the preview option still active?” Aakesh suddenly asked the system.

[Yes, Host!]

[The commission rates for the preview sales are the same as what you gain from other products!]

Aakesh couldnʼt help but shake his head in disappointment. In the Primal dimension, he was the sole owner of the purchases made in the preview sales since it was his suggestion to the store in the first place,

But now that feature had disappeared. Aakesh had expected it, but he still felt some disappointment.

Since there was only one level of cultivation arts available for sale, starting tomorrow, the system told Aakesh the price.

One percent of the total price would be deducted once any customer bought the preview feature. Its rules were the same as earlier.

The preview sales werenʼt refundable. If the customer bought the same cultivation art that they used the preview feature on, they would only need to pay the remaining ninety-nine percent of the sum. If they bought another one, the preview cost would become the storeʼs property.

The rules set for purchase were almost similar to the Primal dimension.

For the pills, the customer could only buy three pills of a specific category in a day.

For the weapons, each customer could only buy one weapon every month.

For the cultivation arts, each customer could only buy a single cultivation art in their lives of all five levels.

For the training area, customers could enter the trivial, normal, moderate, and difficult level training areas as many times as they would want to. For the Immortal level difficulty, each customer could only enter for one hour every day. For the Gods & Demons level training area, the limit would grow to one hour per week.

The time limits between uses werenʼt set by the system to be very high for two reasons. First, the time flow rate wasnʼt as high as it was in the Primal dimension, and the other reason was that the physiques of the cultivator of the Sacred dimension werenʼt weak like the Primal one.

For the sale of the products, the rule was identical.

The system didnʼt prohibit the sales of pills and weapons to customers for making a profit in secret. Once found, the system would blacklist that customer.

But for the cultivation arts, the system strictly forbade the sale of them.

The system would actively monitor every sale of cultivation art, and once it found someone breaking the rule, the store would not only snatch the cultivation art back but also blacklist them.
