The First Store System

Chapter 873: A New Day for the Store(1)

[Host, the sun is about to rise on Thorr City!]

The systemʼs alert woke Aakesh from his meditation.

As Aakesh opened his eyes, he didnʼt see the usual blue screen showing his progress. Aakesh didnʼt have to think about it since he had asked the system only to show him progress once his absorption rate improved or he reached the limit of the cultivation sub-level.

The purer lesser Sacred stones still hadnʼt completely dissolved. Looking at it, Aakesh believed that he could meditate for two more days with the remaining energy in the stone.

Time flew by, and the sun rose in Thorr City.

As the first ray of light pierced through the cover of darkness, it had no choice but to disappear.

On Seventeenth Street, a store slowly gaining prominence also opened its door, announcing the start of a new day.

Favanʼs eyes grew excited and hurried as the storeʼs door opened. He was still the only one waiting for the store to open.

Aakesh hadnʼt even turned around when a loud sound rang at the storeʼs gate. It was none other than Garos and the unconscious Elera.

Aakesh had no change in his expression as he turned around and went to his chair while Favan and Garos followed him and entered the store.

Favan stayed cautious all this while, as the man next to him was a Divine Lord. Garos seemed to sense Favanʼs fright, but since he didnʼt feel interested enough to check on Favan, Garos ignored him and entered.

The first question Garos wanted to ask Aakesh was whether the pills the store owner talked about had arrived or not. But after looking at the store, Garos got his answer even without asking.

A counter had appeared not far from the chair and the square box. Garos could see the silhouettes of pills through the glass counter.

While Favan, who only entered a moment after Garos, seemed to stand in shock as he found the store to be different from yesterday.

Yesterday, the store only had one room, but today, not only a new counter but two new rooms also emerged. A sense of curiosity rose in Favanʼs heart to find out what the other two rooms held.

Garos soon regained his calm and rushed at Aakesh.

”Store owner, what pill can treat Elera?” Garos asked, his voice not hiding the mixture of concern and excitement.

Aakesh, who had only sat on his chair, looked at Garos and told him about the energy purification pill.

paring Eleraʼs stage of disease with the value of the lesser energy purification pill.”> ”Store owner, how many pills do you think would be able to treat Elera perfectly?” Garos asked, longing to see Elera standing. paring Eleraʼs stage of disease with the value of the lesser energy purification pill.

If it were one grade higher, the number of pills taken by Elera for treatment would have decreased exponentially to two digits.

”Store owner, how much does one pill cost?” Garos then asked the most crucial question. If the pillʼs cost was higher than he could afford, then there was no point in waiting over it and growing excited over the prospect of Elera standing again.

”Fifty lesser Sacred stones.”

Garosʼ heart heaved a sigh of relief after hearing about the pillʼs cost. His heart couldnʼt take failure at this stage. Earlier, he was trying to treat Elera, and even then, he had reached a mental stage where he was willing to end everything. Garos couldnʼt even imagine what would happen to him if somehow the pill became out of reach despite being only a few steps away from him. But now, Garos didnʼt have to worry about it. The cost wasnʼt out of his reach.

Garos then began calculating the stones he currently had with him. After a moment, Garos found the liquid assets under his control to be around a hundred ordinary Sacred stones.

One pill cost fifty lesser Sacred stones, and Elera needed one hundred and eighty of them, so Garos needed nine ordinary Sacred stones to make the purchase.

Garos carried all his liquid assets with him, so he had the full amount with him and could buy all 180 pills at any time. Garosʼ breathing got rough as he was only some time away from seeing a fully healed Elera.

”Store owner, I want all one hundred and eighty of them,” Garos said with a hint of hurry in his voice. He then began to take out the stones from his inner world.

The next moment, Garosʼ hands came to a sudden stop as he froze in his actions after hearing what Aakesh said next.

”One customer can only buy three pills from each category in one day,” Aakesh flatly answered, uncaring of the emotions going on in Garosʼ head.

At that moment, Garos didnʼt know what to say. Garos felt as if someone had thrown him underground from the sky. A hint of rage for Aakesh also grew in his heart. But when he looked into those indifferent eyes, all anger disappeared as if someone had poured a cold basin of water on his head.

”Store owner, canʼt you-”

”The storeʼs rules would change for no one, irrespective of the situation,” Garos wanted to plead, but Aakesh interrupted his plea midway and flatly told him.

After hearing the straight refusal, Garos lost all hope for buying all one hundred and eighty pills today, but then something suddenly clicked in his head.

ʼThe store owner talked about a limit of three pills per customer in one day. There was no mention of a limit on the number of customers. What if I ask others to buy pills for me?ʼ Garos thought in his heart.

ʼThis makes sense,ʼ Garos added after finding the plan feasible.

Since Garos wasnʼt sure whether the store owner would allow it or not, so he asked the store owner about it. After reaching this stage, Garos had no interest in ruining anything over without knowing the rules.

”You can do it,” Aakesh responded, as Garosʼ idea didnʼt break any store rules. It wasnʼt also the first time in the store. In the Primal dimension, the store had come across many customers who used this strategy to secure the number of supplies.
