Chapter 853: ”Iʼll wait for you!”

The fiend seemed to have limited time as she ordered the demon to make his wish in the next thirty seconds.

The demonʼs face turned ugly, as this was a life-changing moment for him, but he only had thirty seconds to make his choice. At the same time, he knew his limits, so he didnʼt speak but began to think hard about what to wish for.

”You can wish for a skill,” Aakesh, who wanted the demon to gain as much as possible, gave a suggestion.

The demon seemed to think of something else, but when he heard the stranger, he found it to be the best choice.

He could also ask for cultivation art, but since the knowledge to evolve had already taken two-thirds of the sacrifice, the level of the cultivation art would probably be the same as what his family currently had.

,m ”I have made my decision. I want the best offensive skill I can get for my race and talent,” Since there wasnʼt enough time to choose what skills the demon wanted, he used the fiend to make a choice for him.”> ,m ”I have made my decision. I want the best offensive skill I can get for my race and talent,” Since there wasnʼt enough time to choose what skills the demon wanted, he used the fiend to make a choice for him.

The knowledge found by his grandfather clearly stated that the fiend couldnʼt do anything harmful to the summoner, so the demon decided to trust the fiend to make a choice.

Aakesh nodded in appreciation as he heard the demonʼs wish. At the same time, he felt the fiend grin at him. He was unable to determine the fiendʼs motives or what it desired from him. Aakesh could see that the fiend had no ill intentions toward him, even though the adventurerʼs primary goal in Panagea was to bring an end to Vritrasura and his minions.

”According to the contribution you have left after the knowledge, these two skills are the most suitable for your race and talent,” As if the fiend already knew what the demon was going to ask for, right after the demon stopped, she responded.

The next moment, a golden window appeared in front of the demon. Since it was only visible to him, even Aakesh couldnʼt see it.

But since both skills were suitable for the demon, Aakesh had already done his part. No matter what he chose, he would gain splendid rewards.

[Name: World Destruction Palm!

Requirement: Demon race, Level 250+,

Ability: A skill purely focused on destruction. It has ten levels.

First level: Palm half the size of actual palm,

Second level: Palm the same size as actual palm…,]

Finally, there was a scene in which a Demon race member used the skill to destroy an area the size of a continent.

As the skill level increased, the size of the palm and the number of palms the demon could release also increased. At the tenth level, the demon would be able to release eleven palms, with each being several thousand miles in size.

When the demon looked at the skill, he decided to get it, but since there were two skills, he couldnʼt just leave the screen without checking another one.

As he read the details, he wanted to smash his head into the ground. The dilemma of what skill to choose reappeared.

[Name: Instant Punch,

Requirements: Demon race, Level 250+, knowledge of space,

Ability: The skill created by the combination of space and destruction. It has ten levels…,]

The second skill was no weaker than the first one. It allowed the demon to pick an enemy, and once the enemy was in the range of the skill, no matter where the demon punched, the enemy couldnʼt dodge and had to face it.

At the end of the screen, a scene played where a demon punched in the air, while seated in his house, and in the next scene, the enemy was hit by the punch. In no time, it destroyed the enemy.

Both the skills were purely offense based, as they both contained an element of destruction.

The demon could sense that the end of the ritual was approaching, so he tried to hurry his mind into making a choice.

The demon liked both skills, but when he put himself in the userʼs shoes, he found the World Destruction Palm to be more suitable. He was one of the beings who liked to fight in the open.

Since this was what he felt, without wasting any time, he tapped on the screen, representing the World destruction Palm.

”Letʼs meet once I get released. Iʼll wait for you!”

Suddenly, the same charming voice rang in Aakeshʼs head as the silhouette of the fiend began to fade.

In less than a blink of an eye, a barren area of a few square meters and the demon were gone.

The demon finally saw the stranger. His eyes turned solemn as he sensed that there was no way for him to defeat the adventurer.

Aakesh seemed to sense the demonʼs fears, so he turned around and left the area.

He had come here for a different purpose, and since it was complete, it was time for him to leave.

The reason Aakesh left was that he noticed that he didnʼt get any rewards even after the fiend disappeared. It only meant one thing: only when the demon safely left the area, would the system consider it to be a fortunate event.

So Aakesh left, not making the demonʼs fear grow.

The demon was surprised at the adventurerʼs sudden departure without asking any questions, but soon he lost himself in the excitement of what he had gained today.

The demon couldnʼt help but stop himself from using the skill.

The next moment, he raised his hands and activated the skill, and soon a projection of a palm half his size appeared above the hand.

Boom!

As the demon made the gesture of his palm falling to the ground, the projection followed and crashed to the ground, resulting in a loud explosion-like sound.

The hit spot was covered in a dust cloud a few meters in height. The demon couldnʼt wait to check the damage his skill had caused, he took a deep breath and then exhaled.

As if a storm had arrived, the dust cloud vanished, and the scene on the ground presented itself.

The barren land had now turned into a pit in the form of a palm. As the demon stepped forward to take a look, he guessed the depth to be at least a hundred meters.

Although it wasnʼt his most destructive skill at the time, the demonʼs eyes heated up as he realized that because the palm was so small at first level, it would allow him to concentrate his destruction in a small area, killing cultivators of his level.

The demon wanted to test more, but he remembered what he had done. If someone found he had made contact with a fiend, even his family would be at risk of extinction, let alone him.

His family had been waiting for this knowledge for millions of years, so he had to share it with them as early as possible. The demon chose the direction toward his hometown and hurried.
