The First Store System

Chapter 876: A New Day for the Store(4)

”Are you the non-demon that killed Thorrons a few days ago?” Ashley asked. Her tone sounded haughty, even though she wanted the opposite.

Fortunately for her, Aakesh was never one to care about the other sideʼs tone unless there was a harmful motive behind it.

Aakesh didnʼt speak but only nodded in response to the female Corronʼs question.

Ashley seemed to have heard her tone and had grown solemn, but after seeing the non-demon store owner unaffected by it, she heaved a sigh of relief.

”Donʼt mind my tone. It has been such always,” Ashley didnʼt want to see whether the non-demon would get offended, so she flatly stated.

This time, Aakesh didnʼt even nod and only looked at the girl, waiting for her to ask about the store products.

At that time, the sound of footsteps rang in Aakeshʼs ears. He glanced toward the door and took it back after seeing that it was a familiar face. It all happened so fast that Ashley didnʼt even notice.

Ashley felt offended after seeing the store owner ignoring her even though she showed herself lower by revealing her toneʼs reason. But since there was nothing she could do, she pushed it back into her heart and introduced herself.

”Store owner, I am Ashley.”

”I am Aakesh.”

”Aakesh, what products does the store sells? I can see the pills but not what is beyond those three rooms,” Ashley said while pointing at the counter and then at the three rooms. At the same time, a fake smile adorned her face.

”That room is the portal room: there you can enter another world and go on several adventures….”

”That room is the weapons room: There you can buy weapons of Lesser grade for now, and also there is a training area. You could train there with Lesser grade weapons.”

”That room holds Lesser level cultivation arts.”

Except for Panagea, Aakesh gave a basic introduction about the other two rooms.

Ashley froze on the spot as she learned about Panagea. She wanted to interrupt and ask Aakesh for more, but when she tried, she couldnʼt speak, as if she didnʼt prefer any interruption to the introduction of Panagea.

”Aakesh, what do you mean by the difference in strength between Panagea and the Sacred dimension?” Now that the introduction was over, the reluctance to speak disappeared from her heart, and she asked.

”The power level in Panagea is different from what you see in the Sacred dimension.”

”In the Sacred dimension, the cultivation level starts with Divine Transformation and ends with @#!$!. But in Panagea, the power starts from an ordinary mortal to the peak level of the third dimension.”

”> ”So even the strongest of the Sacred dimension isnʼt able to create any storm in Panagea,” Aakesh was patient with questions related to the store and its products, so Aakesh explained to Ashley.

Ashley felt a thundercloud exploding in her heart as her eyes and mouth flew wide open after hearing Aakesh.

”Are you sure; this isnʼt a joke?” Ashley couldnʼt help but ask in shock as what she heard was too much for her to believe.

Ashley was arrogant, but she still knew about her insignificance in the Sacred dimension. She knew that her father, who was the mightiest man of the Vurrons race, was nothing but dust when compared with the actual powerhouses of the Sacred dimension.

And here, the store owner talked about the mightiest of the Sacred dimension not being able to create any storm in Panagea with a calm expressionless face, as if he himself didnʼt hear the absurdity in his statement.

”I never joke about the storeʼs products,” Aakesh responded. He would usually reply with silence to these questions, but he wanted Ashley to initiate the quest for him, so he didnʼt ignore it this time.

”If this isnʼt some joke then what is this?”

”You tell me that the mightiest of the Sacred dimension isnʼt able to create any storm in Panagea, a world with its own rules, and you expect me to believe you?”

”Even if what you speak about Panagea is the truth, then what are you even doing in this backward area of this backward planet? You should be living in those areas where the mighties gather.”

”No, even that isnʼt enough to do justice to your status. You should be living in the higher dimension,” Ashley erupted as if a bomb had exploded in her head.

It wasnʼt the first time Aakesh came across such a scene from his customers. In fact, the number of people with similar reactions to Ashley had reached such an extent that this scene had become regular in Aakeshʼs eyes.

”The store never exaggerates its products.”

”If you donʼt receive what the productʼs introduction stated, you are bound to get ten thousand times the price you inverted in the store in return,” Aakesh didnʼt attempt to explain in grand words and simply told her about the compensation rate.

The prospect of getting your money back if the product wasnʼt up to what it stated was the best response to the shocked new customers.

As expected, it worked on Ashley as well. Her doubts got reduced to an extent since ten thousand times return wasnʼt a small amount. If she invested one lesser Sacred stone, she would get ten ordinary lesser Sacred stones in return if she found the store owner to be lying. Even for her wealthy family, this rate of compensation was unheard of.

”So, whatʼs the cost of entering this world?” Ashley asked, pushing herself for hearing an outrageous amount since any world that had such a grand explanation wouldnʼt be cheap.

”Five lesser Sacred stones per entry and another five lesser Sacred stones for an hourʼs stay.”

”HUH!” Ashley exclaimed in shock after hearing the price.

”Why is the price this low? It must be because of your high compensation-” Ashley suddenly stopped speaking. Her face turned white as she thought she was thinking in her heart, but she didnʼt expect to be uttering those words loudly.

ʼHow can you act this way? Even if the non-demon lies, he is still stronger and wealthier than you. Why do you have to always go out of your way to offend others?ʼ She wondered in her heart, not knowing what to do.
