Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 1050: Chapter 156: Calamity Corps 1

Just as Gao Gong was biting into this Leviathan, a series of prompts rang from the system panel.

[Warning, you have absorbed the genetic fragments of a space giant beast, which may interfere with your molecular structure]

[Your biological cells have been invaded, blood volume -1000]

...

In the northern ocean, there is a fish, its name is Kun, the size of the Kun is unknown, but spans thousands of miles.

In Gao Gong’s perception, a Star-devouring Whale opened its mouth, tearing its flesh, and with one inhale, it devoured tens of thousands of Radiation Beasts.

From some Low-Level Radiation Beasts like F-level Desert Insects, D-level Meat Plate Algae, F-level Hand Grenade Fruits, F-level Radiation Corpses, to some Intermediate Radiation Beasts like C-level Turbo Spiders, D-level Chariot Roads, C-level Face Huggers, B-level Bat Winged Dragons, C-level Reapers, and finally to the kings of Radiation Bloodlines like the Crimson Queen, the Duke of Radiation, Deep Sea Whales, all entered into the Leviathan’s belly with that one inhale.

Among them, the majority of Radiation Beasts had no ability to resist, and the attacks from the small number of High-level Radiation Beasts fell on the ”Leviathan” with pityingly little damage.

After all, the limit of Radiation Beasts is SSS-level, which is the extreme of planetary bloodlines.

And the bloodline of a space giant beast is a tier above SSS-level, strictly speaking, Planet-level.

Under this influence, the bloodline within Gao Gong’s body began to collapse on a large scale, the Blackthorn Throne emerged from the skin, growing numerous black thorns that pierced into the body, starting a fight with the ’Leviathan’ for bloodline control.

The radiation bloodline that Gao Gong had developed to its limits was also showing its terrifying side at this time, as the black skin of the Leviathan, capable of defending against the ’Main Ship Energy Cannon’, began to fester and bulge with lumps, as if undergoing some high-intensity radiation, even the Leviathan’s strong body was affected.

Meanwhile, various negative buffs and statuses on the system panel were rapidly increasing in numbers.

Under normal circumstances, this kind of update and upgrade of a biological system requires numerous trials, and forcing it like Gao Gong did would inevitably lead to genetic collapse.

But this only applies to ordinary Carbon-Based Powerhouses, not someone like Gao Gong, who has a ’Biological Computer’, which has been updated to version 7.0, just one or two updates short of a Super Human Computing System approaching the Planet Computer’s computational power.

At this moment, under Gao Gong’s guidance, a large amount of ’underlying computational power’ began to operate, genetic software testing, DNA fragment selection, and cell upgrade and renewal.

This allowed Gao Gong, after losing the ’Black Forbidden Throne’, to visibly swell and strengthen, growing from a nearly two-meter tall young man to two meters four, two meters five, with muscles in every part of the body bulging, like a bodybuilding champion on steroids.

Some low-version talents turned black and then disappeared.

However, there were also some ’skills’ related to the body that directly broke through to Tier 3.

[Tier 2 skill ’Overlord Body’ has broken through to Tier 3] ℯ

[Tier 2 skill ’Bursting Grip’ has broken through to Tier 3]

[Bloodline Talent ’Beast Tide’, S-Level Talent ’Tyrant’, S-Level Talent ’Field of Destruction’ have fused, obtaining an SSS-level talent ’Whale Swallowing Tide’]

The disappearance and replacement of these skills were secondary, more importantly, it was the increase in blood volume.

The blood volume of a space species is measured in ’tens of millions’.

[Your biological blood volume +100,000]

[Your biological blood volume +100,000]

[Your biological blood volume +100,000]

[Your biological blood volume +100,000]

...

Soon, Gao Gong’s biological blood volume broke through the million level and continued to rise.

And as Gao Gong continued to devour, the Leviathan corpse that might have taken thousands of years to weather into nothing was rapidly turning into flying ash, as if a gray rain was falling in space.

A surge of immense power began to grow within Gao Gong, belonging to ’Leviathan’.

However, Gao Gong furrowed his brow.

Because according to his calculations, this half-corpse probably won’t complete his Tier 3 Carbon Fusion.

In other words, the base framework is incomplete, the software cannot be installed, let alone the ’traffic (biological energy)’ it brings.

At this time, Gao Gong’s body had already swelled to 40 meters, although it couldn’t compare to the Fern, it was still on the level of a small giant, with thick tendons like giant pythons, muscles like mountain rocks, and metal bones covered by layer upon layer of biological frames.

However, this unbalanced state did not spike the rejection.

It seems that under Leviathan Mode, the difficulty of biological rejection is much higher than under ’Radiation Mode’.

And along Gao Gong’s spine, from the abs to the chest, appeared fist-sized ’Whale Holes’, which could not only provide vacuum breathing but also had a miraculous ability to absorb and store cosmic energy.

For a creature the size of a space giant beast, without a biological system for energy storage, it would simply be impossible to survive in the vacuum of space.

At the same time, the human body’s eight major systems, namely the Sports System, Neural System, Endocrine System, Circulatory System, Respiratory System, Digestive System, Urogenital System, Reproductive System, added a ’Leviathan System’.

The digestion of the Leviathan bloodline remarkably evolved the human body from eight systems to nine systems.

However, this ’Leviathan System’ was in a grey state, seemingly inactive.

The organism’s transformation cap increased from 800% to 900%.

But that was the extent of it.

Like a ’Sky Fortress’, the Leviathan corpse was finally drained by Gao Gong, turning into gray smoke, scattered across the battlefield wreckage.

Seeing that this phenomenon attracted quite a bit of attention, Gao Gong’s figure flickered and disappeared.

...

In the subspace jointly built by Artificial Intelligence DK51 and Mechanical Turtle Jes, Gao Gong walked in slowly.

Now this subspace was no longer just the previous four or five people, but a total of thirty or forty informants from different factions gathered under one roof, either whispering or lazily sitting in corners, transforming the place into a sort of black market trading point.

”Where have you been,” Jes, with a corpse of an ’Adrenaline Worm’ dangling from his mouth, exhaled chemical smoke that heightened spirits, making the whole environment a haze.

A group of people surrounded the turtle, these guys from different backgrounds were currently gambling.

”Just in time, we are betting on who will be the next interstellar overlord to attack this planet.”

Gao Gong leaned over, finding that the top contender, surprisingly yet understandably, was the ’Leviathan Giant’, who had been defeated once.

Though defeated once, the Leviathan Giant’s strength and his background, like the Space Giant Beast Tribe, the Son of Leviathan from a Level 2 Carbon-based Civilization, or the looming hand of the Galen Republic, made him the first choice.

Gao Gong looked further down, the next few popular candidates were either interstellar governors or large star thief groups from other Stellar Vortices.

For instance, the ’Three-Eyed Governor’ was a well-known interstellar influence near the 3rd Stellar Vortex, consisting of an intelligent species called the Three-Eyed People, with the Three-Eyed Governor as their leader.

Gao Gong scanned around, couldn’t help but say, ”Why isn’t my hiring faction listed?”

Jes rolled his eyes, ”With an unclear fleet background, unclear personnel, unclear funding, who dares to place a random bet; unless you place it yourself?”

Gao Gong rubbed his pocket, having spent most of his money, he now only had less than a thousand credit points, bet it all, with a staggering ratio of 1 to 100.

”Hey, if you want to place it, I won’t stop you, but you have to give me a name for it.”

”Hmm,” Gao Gong thought for a moment, ”It’s called the Calamity Corps.”
