Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 1020: Chapter 126: Planet 1

According to most people’s thinking, smuggling, regardless of the type, is quite an uncomfortable process. You might have to trek across mountains and rivers, take routes outside the borders, or hide in some dirty and messy little ship cabin for months. Moreover, if it’s interstellar smuggling, your physical body might be frozen and transported in a cryo-chamber.

Whether this transportation is genuinely smuggling or organ trafficking ultimately tests the integrity of the smugglers.

In most cases, smugglers lack integrity.

However, Gao Gong’s current situation is entirely different from typical ’smuggling.’

On a luxurious interstellar cruise, various splendidly dressed interstellar intelligent species are conversing and laughing; advanced beverages, custom-made bionic beauties, pleasure-type electronic illusions, and civilian massage mecha give Gao Gong the illusion of a high-end interstellar journey, colloquially known as impact.

Incidentally, this interstellar cruise ship is called the ’Morbi.’

One of the top ten financial groups of the Mirta Civilization, the Morbi Financial Group is renowned for its production of civilian mecha.

”This world is indeed full of surprises; who would have thought there would be this type of ’smuggling.’”

Gao Gong held a wine glass, looking at the various interstellar creatures seemingly traveling, and couldn’t help but sigh.

Lolita, dressed in an all-white Lolita outfit, calmly remarked:

”Within the Mirta Federation’s territory, there are 31,100 habitable planets, plus the fact that the civilization exercises a comparatively loose federal system, meaning the anti-immigration bureau can’t possibly pinpoint all the smuggling targets, leading to deteriorating security in 300 habitable planets over the past 300 years.”

”Diversion is better than blockage, so they simply developed an official smuggling channel. As long as enough security deposit is paid, guaranteed by large financial groups and supplied with species transformation technology, other interstellar species can use this channel to become members of a Level 3 Civilization.”

”How much is the security deposit?”

”One million civilization credit points.”

Gao Gong clicked his tongue and did not ask how Lolita got so much money, as he couldn’t afford it, nor could the players afford such a price.

”But even if one pays such a species security deposit, one can only become a second-class citizen within the Federation, residing on limited civilized planets, like an industrialized planet.”

Such as the Mirta Federation, Benegla Star Province, 17th Industrial Planet, Continent-level Manufacturing Factory.

Gao Gong knowingly nodded.

The two stood in the corner of the banquet hall, once again falling silent.

Even though this smuggling ship is equipped with many pleasure devices, Gao Gong had seen wilder ones on Mechanical Split Star, and most civilizations have a conservative attitude towards pure sensory stimulation. The only ’game’ on this ship that drew Gao Gong’s attention was a makeup pen called the ’Silver Elf Beauty Pen.’

Under the operation of service personnel, this pen can transform you into a ’Mirta.’

And once you enter this ’Silver Elf Mode,’ it’s like a male/female Mirta is ’uniting’ with you.

In the hall, many of the smugglers, after putting on the ’Silver Elf Suit,’ fell into a state of blissful daze. Among these smugglers were ruthless mercenary leaders and powerful Tier 2 warriors, but without exception, they all succumbed to this addicting state.

’Biological potion?’

Gao Gong silently thought.

In the Planet Era, civilization recognition was nothing more than race, culture, skin color, or national strength.

However, in the Interstellar Era, as civilizations expand their domains to unimaginable extents, such ’civilization recognition’ becomes a technological endeavor.

Subconscious remodeling, species transformation, gene fusion, technology tree grafting...

This ’Silver Elf Suit,’ in Gao Gong’s view, is part of ’species transformation.’ No matter what your identity was before, once you enter the Mirta domain, there’s only one identity you can have, that of a Mirta.

”Honored guest, would you like me to let you experience the feeling of becoming a ’Mirta’ in advance?”

A Mirta girl blinked her silver-gray eyes, speaking in a very seductive tone.

On her palm, she held a silver tray, with various makeup pens on it.

Within the Mirta people, there are ranks and levels, for the ’Telekinesis Dynasty’ ruled this civilization for a long period before the formation of the federal system.

And according to the aesthetics of the ’Telekinesis Dynasty’ phase, the deeper the ’silverization,’ the more beautiful the Mirta looks.

In front of him, this Mirta girl was as beautiful as a silver elf, her silver-gray gaze seemed to soothe one’s soul.

Unfortunately, Gao Gong’s willpower was nearly 7000 points. This level of willpower, even staring at the Cosmic Evil God, can pass the judgment. A minor seductive tactic is not noteworthy in his mind.

Pausing briefly on her features, Gao Gong smiled and said: ”Not necessary for now.”

The Mirta girl had a hint of confusion in her eyes but didn’t say anything more, slightly bowed, and took her leave.

”I sensed a force from that girl that could distort the will of carbon-based creatures.”

Lolita suddenly remarked.

”Telekinesis, could it be she’s a descendant of the royal family?”

Gao Gong had heard in the black market that after the disbandment of the Telekinesis Dynasty, many royal descendants became employees of financial groups.

Gao Gong didn’t know if she was one of them.

...

Although it’s used for smuggling, this interstellar cruise ship is standard Tier 3 Superluminal Spaceship, so in just a few days, it’s left the Second Stellar Vortex, entering the Mirta Federation’s domain.

Unlike the usual starry sky with its dazzling stars, outside the Morbi, all the starlight is blue, resembling fireflies, evenly distributed throughout the starry sky.

”So this is an armed planet, a planet armed with mecha, claimed as Mirta Federation’s strongest defense.”

Like mecha, Star Armor is also divided into small, medium, and large sizes, but unlike mecha, Star Armor has an additional level — that is planet-level.

This is also the culmination of the ’Star Armor’ technology route, and it is where the name star armor originates.

Complete planet weaponization through ’Star Armor,’ extracting Planet Energy to fire Planet Cannon, and these densely packed ’Anglemar Defense Lines’ allow the Mirta Federation, despite repeated setbacks in ’Interstellar Battle’ with the Galen Republic, to hold firm in its territory. These ’Armed Planets’ indeed play a decisive role.

This also indirectly indicated the difficulty level, with Lolita managing to smuggle into the Mirta Federation and invade a Mechanical Planet with the power of ’Mechanical Revolution.’

You should know that while Armed Planets may not have the computational power of ’Planet Computer,’ their anti-detection system is top-tier Level 3.

Through the space window, Gao Gong saw an Armed Planet. Compared with normal planets, this planet’s atmosphere was covered by large areas of ’alloy plate,’ resembling solar sails and a kind of special energy matrix. Even from far away, Gao Gong could feel powerful energy.

Planets are divided into many types: solid planets, gaseous planets, crystal planets, high-temperature planets. Under the same area, many high-temperature planets emit energy constantly, which is not much less than a fixed star.

And these are the ’energy sources’ for planet weapons.

This military technology is also a simplified version of the ’Dyson Sphere.’
