Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 1047: Chapter 153: Exchange 1

You should know, even the spaceship’s main cannon, at full capacity, can only deliver a damage of 1 million points.

This means that even if the Walter Clan does nothing, the spaceship’s attack would need to continuously bombard in the same direction nine times to break through this planet’s natural defenses.

In the previous planetary war, it was relying on the terrifying biological firepower of the ’Space Leviathan’ that broke through the planet’s defense circle and penetrated into the planet’s interior.

But now, it seems after the planet space coordinates shifted and the planet cannon was released, the energy strength of the atmosphere has significantly decreased, allowing a faint view of the scenes inside.

Because of this, many forces’ spies blatantly watch from the outer atmosphere, with various vehicles, small star shuttles, black market star armor, and sub-bodies of space leviathans appearing and disappearing.

”I remember Old Walter was injured in the last war.”

On a large meteorite on the outer edge of the energy atmosphere, two figures, one tall and one short, stood whispering.

”Back then, I saw with my own eyes, Old Walter’s command ship being shot down by the Leviathan Giant, then exploding upon reaching the planetary surface.”

”So, he’s dead?”

”I think it’s a very likely possibility.”

”That’s hard to say, the Walter Clan with their green-skinned monsters are notorious for their cloning genes. Even if Old Walter is dead, who knows if a new ’Old Walter’ will appear.”

The humanoid creature with three eyes spoke.

”Our governor suspects the original ’Old Walter’ who founded the Walter Clan actually died long ago, and the current one is merely a clone.”

”Tsk, monster.”

The latter remarked, both possessing superb visual systems, the former’s three-eyed forehead able to ’peer into the void’, while the latter’s foggy body could perceive energy fluctuations across the entire planet.

These two represent two powerful interstellar influences, one of which even includes a Planet System governor.

”Since your governor suspects ’Old Walter’ is dead, why not lead your fleet over to conquer this planet? You know, your governor’s colonial planets lack resources compared to here.”

The foggy shadow suddenly asked curiously.

”Haha, I dare not speculate the Three-Eyed Governor’s intentions.”

The Three-Eyed couldn’t say that his boss, the Three-Eyed Governor, indeed planned to dispatch an Interstellar Fleet to attack this planet, pity that they hadn’t left the Star System when the ’Leviathan Giant’ and a group of space giants blocked their door, leading to a fierce battle between them.

Although unclear on the specific outcome, when our governor returned, he did appear battered and bruised.

The Three-Eyed chuckled, just about to change the subject when the foggy figure suddenly turned colorful, understanding the opposing race possesses such rare energy bloodline that they can resonate with energy resources from great distances.

At this moment, its color becoming vibrant indicates that within Long-horned Whale Alpha, there’s a strong energy reaction.

The Three-Eyed also activated his bloodline talent, the third eye brightened, but all he saw was gray haze.

”Huh?”

The other spoke in surprise, the next moment, the foggy humanoid’s brilliance suddenly dimmed.

”Energy reaction disappeared?”

”No!”

The foggy humanoid quickly raised his head, the ’energy atmosphere’ that enclosed the planet, or rather gaseous energy, appeared above the two’s heads unknowingly, then transformed into a giant palm, crushing the Three-Eyed into pieces, while the foggy humanoid disintegrated without a word, evolving into hydrogen, oxygen, and some free ions in the cosmic vacuum.

This method of self-detachment can even withstand the main cannon’s barrage, yet the next moment, a strong suction suddenly emanated from above.

’Come... become one with me... become... new... Walter.’

...

”Ahh...”

In a cosmic vacuum still far from Long-horned Whale Alpha, the space suddenly recessed inward, as if a slingshot launched the vacuum creating a depression, and in that projected ’stone area’, a silhouette appeared, looking pale, limbs twitching.

Gao Gong almost vomited.

He finally understood why ’Gravity Catapult’ is prefixed with ’super’.

The reason is simple, most ’gravity catapult effect’ is limited to accelerating or decelerating small mass flying devices through the force field of a large mass celestial body.

But the opposing technology involves not only ’force fields’ but also ’dimensions’.

That ’Pai Daxing’ didn’t know what method he used, compressing several dimensions into the ’slingshot’ cord, pulling and lengthening them, then creating a vast dimensional ascension and reduction.

Though they are all ’superluminal technology’, they differ from a ’teleportation engine’ as they follow two different technology paths: the former ’drills cosmic hollow’, the latter ’manipulates dimensions’, one pertains to spatial front and back properties, the other to spatial top and bottom properties.

And serving as the ’slingshot’ center’s little stone, once the physical body enters this state, it’s like all senses and perceptions mix together.

If it were others, they’d likely see God directly.

Opening the system panel, indeed several debuffs like ’sensory confusion’, ’spatial disarray’ stacked.

But when Gao Gong looked towards Long-horned Whale Alpha’s direction, he paused noticeably, talking to himself:

”Could I be seeing things?”

Only to see a giant human face appearing on the distant planet, with silver-hook nose, silver eyebrows, two eyes dark and hollow.

But wherever these two eye sockets’ sight passed by, all monitoring personnel’s flesh was suddenly consumed by appearing energy fog.

This included two ’Invisible Starships’.

These starships, even among Tier 3, are relatively rare; it’s not invisibility at the visual level but the entire starship directly enters subspace.

In this mode, it can even navigate through nine layers of energy atmosphere, penetrating the planet’s interior.

Unfortunately, under ’Old Walter’s’ monstrous face they were still discovered, fog rolling and roaring, energy radiance reflecting the planet like a giant diamond, while these two ’starships’ in the fog are akin to a sailboat in surging waves, charging through the crests, sinking, finally engulfed.

They died miserably.

”Huh?”

Gao Gong was a bit stupefied.

Planet Will?

Cosmic Evil God?

Why is it so uncanny?

Would the Walter Clan also plant a ’Super Giant Tree’ on this planet?

That’s impossible.

You know only a ’Memory Mother’ type Level 5 Information Celestial Calamity has the ability to unleash a cyber wave on a planet, and even then it relies on Mechanical Split Star’s cyber technology society.

To think the Walter Clan’s Star Thief Group would engage in robbery, indulge in research trees, is far-fetched.

Not just Gao Gong found it absurd, others did too, especially those various forces’ monitoring personnel.

’Beep beep, beep beep—’

A communication request suddenly came across Gao Gong’s internal receiver.

Although the cosmic vacuum still lacked network access, the signal Gao Gong felt was very strong.

”Some abilities of information-type alien species?”

Gao Gong chose to accept.

First came the ’chirping alien language’, then quickly converted into language Gao Gong understood.

”Newcomer, gather around, few are still alive.”
