Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 1048: Chapter 154: Exchange 2

Gao Gong followed the coordinates provided by the other party and quickly arrived at a relic of an outer space battlefield.

It is obvious that this battle was very brutal. In the vacuum, there are lots of frozen corpses, machine fragments, spaceship wreckage floating around. Gao Gong even saw a quarter of a Space Giant Whale’s body, like a broken blood-flesh planet, suspended in the air with the flesh still disintegrating.

Just like the disintegration of a planet, it takes tens of thousands of years.

For such a space species whose size is comparable to a satellite, after death, the body’s remnants take hundreds of years to disintegrate.

”Over here, over here.”

The signal source directly sent a small map.

Gao Gong took a final look at the bloody giant orb, with an inexplicable expression.

Soon, following the provided path, Gao Gong arrived at the ruins of an automated dock. Two vacuum drones came over, releasing investigative radiance from their electronic eyes.

”Which territory are you from?”

”I come from the Mechanical Serpent Constellation.”

”That’s... the Collector’s domain. Are you one of his people?”

”You can find my name, Cybertron, in his mercenary system.” Gao Gong purposely changed his wording.

”I’ll check... Good heavens, Level 5 Mercenary, even Soldier King comes to be a scout? Come in, come in.”

Soon, the automated dock lit up with a radiance, revealing a door.

And once Gao Gong went inside, the door immediately disappeared, as did the dock ruins.

”Subspace Technology?”

After entering the dock, Gao Gong glanced at the silver floor, ceiling, and a uniquely indescribable sense of emptiness, and said.

”Haven’t missed a thing, being from the Mechanical Serpent Constellation. That one there is a master of dimensional manipulation.”

Gao Gong looked down and saw a turtle, more precisely, a large turtle with a metal shell, the size of a millstone.

”Half-mechanical species?”

”You can call me Jes.” Turtle Jes spoke, ”The half-dead giant is called Fern, from Leviathan, Artificial Intelligence DK51, like me, originating from the Ferry Black Market. And that half-conscious energy fog, although still in a coma, according to 51’s search, is a Level 4 Mercenary, code-named: Qi People.”

”Hello,” said Artificial Intelligence DK51, greeting without a physical entity, or rather, the hardware system is not here.

And the one known as ’Fern’ is the source of the surrounding muffled thunder, a humanoid organism nearly 50 meters tall, with fins as limbs, no facial features, its head formed of teeth like a marvel, with a chain of breathing holes from chest to abdomen.

’Son of Leviathan, Level 60, symbiotic species of Space Giant Beast.’

After discovering his competitor was the ’Leviathan Giant’, Gao Gong specifically investigated the opponent.

The tribe of Leviathan Space Giant Beasts are naturally powerful, their physical strength comparable to warships. The corpse of each giant beast is a gene treasure chest.

As for the ’Son of Leviathan’, they are the ’Level 2 Carbon-Based Civilization Life’ residing on each Leviathan.

Their relationship is akin to rhinos and oxpeckers, clownfish and anemones, a very special symbiotic relationship.

Space Giant Beasts need Sons of Leviathan to enhance their flesh, remove impurities, and perform tasks meant for ’immune cells’ .

And Sons of Leviathan, through a large amount of high-quality biological materials, climb the technology tree, evolving from ignorance to wisdom, from the tribe to civilization.

It’s a typical interstellar nomadic civilization.

However, within the Robert Star System, this kind of ecological civilization is rare.

Gao Gong sensed the ’biological computer’ data fluctuations from the opponent.

’Although feeling that the level is not high, being able to identify a ’biological computer’, the Son of Leviathan is quite impressive even within a Level 2 Civilization.’

’However, why can’t the ’biological computer’ repair the opponent’s injuries?’

Gao Gong shifted his sight to the opponent’s wound and saw a faint layer of energy fog. It’s this layer of energy fog that’s preventing the broken hand and foot from recovering quickly.

”After testing, this ’energy fog’ contains a powerful biological energy capable of absorbing the life force of organisms to strengthen itself. Neither trunk amputation nor mechanical transformation can thoroughly solve this problem.” DK51 continued.

”Couldn’t have imagined you also have a day with bugs inside, whale bug.” Turtle Jes taunted mercilessly.

Fern snorted coldly, with the sound coming from its chest and abdomen’s exhaust ports.

”Alright, I’m not here to care about your survival. I’ve come to exchange information with you, about the internal information of the Long-horned Whale Alpha. How much do you exactly know?” Jes said.

”Based on my battlefield data statistics, Walter Group lost a total of 2.1 million clone troops. Given the production capacity of five clone production centers within this planet, Walter Group cannot rapidly multiply its forces.”

”Next, during battlefield cleaning, according to the ’monitor’ I deployed inside this planet, the first things they cleared were those clone corpses.” DK51 continued.

”You mean, those things are stacked with clone bodies, blood-sacrificing the Evil God?”

”The ’splendid scenery’ requires a large number of organisms, but there is currently insufficient evidence that clone corpses attract the cosmic Evil God.”

”Interesting,” said the mechanical turtle after crawling a few circles, ”Then I also have a piece of information to reveal.”

”Aren’t you curious where Old Walter got so many interstellar battleships from? The previously exposed number of starships during several battles reached 50,000. Even if Old Walter is willing to trade resources for weapons, there’s no war seller that large in this stellar vortex.”

”You seem to disregard the Federation.”

”No, precisely because the supporter behind them is a big shot from the Mirta Federation, it’s impossible. Big shots don’t just need to complete the task like us; they have many things to consider.”

The mechanical turtle paused and said:

”Moreover, I dismantled no less than hundreds of Walter Clan’s ships. I suspect Old Walter built a starport on this planet.”

”Starport!?”

This time, not only did Gao Gong raise an eyebrow, but even the heavily injured Fern, the Son of Leviathan, also cast a concerned glance.

It’s known, starport’s level is above spaceport, it’s a standard large Tier 4 Architecture.

If the spaceport as Tier 3 Architecture is the interstellar transportation relay station, then the starport itself is a planet-level super shipyard, super energy center, large training center, and even has technology to pull spaceships into ’superluminal’.

If a ’planet cannon’ belongs to core military technology.

Then this kind of planet architecture ’starport’ even comes under core civilization technology.

The mighty Federation and Republic, the combined Level 3 civilization, have less than a hundred starports altogether.

”Are you sure?” Fern finally couldn’t help but speak.

”Although unbelievable, it’s probably the only explanation for why Old Walter can continually produce fleets.” The mechanical turtle shrugged.

DK51 issued an electronic sound of confusion.

”If Old Walter has a starport, why blood-sacrifice the Evil God? Once linked with the cosmic Evil God, there’s a 99.9% probability that he’ll never escape the Evil God for life.”

”Old Walter is dead.”

After a long pause, Fern suddenly said.
