Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 1031: Chapter 137: Fleet 1

Owl is actually Xun’s younger brother and also the personal disciple of the last Telekinesis Emperor.

Before this, he deliberately had a falling out with Sola, forcing Sola to investigate the stowaway alone on this planet.

But the stowaway wasn’t caught, and now Sola is missing!

Facing these inquiries with ill intent, Owl’s mouth twitched, and he forced a smile: ”Sola always acts alone. Where he wants to go, what he wants to do, how could I possibly stop him.”

”But how come I heard that you deliberately refused to cooperate with him, leading to his downfall here?”

Owl’s expression turned grim, and he said angrily:

”Stephanie, are you suggesting that I’m conspiring with the stowaway to kill my own colleague?”

”Who knows? You remnants from the last regime might know some Forbidden Techniques. Like maybe you’ve taken a fancy to Sola and want to turn him into your Virtual Personality.”

”You—”

”Everyone calm down.”

The burly Star Armor bearer spoke indifferently; his voice wasn’t loud but seemed to freeze the space, instantly silencing the scene.

The Star Armor bearer known as ’Cassiopeia’, those who have developed their Telekinesis Brain Domain to its limit, achieving the maximum potential of the Mirta people, are qualified to name themselves after a ’Fixed Star’. This tradition has been passed down since the Mirta people were in the planetary era.

Cassiopeia not only cultivated the Telekinesis System to its peak, developing his Brain Domain to 200%, but he is also a Star Armor Master himself.

At this moment, floating outside the Mechanical Planet, there were dense Star Armors, seemingly endless, numbering roughly no less than a hundred thousand.

This is the true top battle power of the Federation!

As the official head of the Anti-Trafficking Bureau, Cassiopeia didn’t waste words, with a gentle wave of his hand, his subordinates quickly dispersed, heading either to the Quantum Computer Center or diving into the Earth Core, or communicating with the ubiquitous Telekinesis on this planet.

In short, every effort must be made to bring Sola back. The sudden disappearance of an Advanced battle force, even for the Anti-Trafficking Bureau, is a significant loss, enough for the head himself to come and lead a rescue mission.

Owl followed his colleagues to the Mechanical City with a blank expression but bitterly grumbled inwardly.

’Sister Xun, you’ve really trapped me this time!’

Originally, a stowaway, whether caught or not, didn’t matter. He was quite happy to trouble Sola, who was of such a sullen nature.

That’s why he agreed to Xun’s request almost without hesitation, deliberately sending everyone away to give the stowaway a chance to escape.

But who could have expected this stowaway to cause harm to Sola!!

Although they hadn’t found the body yet, Sola’s life signal has disappeared, which is almost a confirmation.

His death was insignificant, but now Owl finds himself in a hot seat, accused of colluding with outsiders and conspiring with a stowaway to kill his colleague. If investigated, evidence will surely be found, and in a Federal authority department like the Anti-Trafficking Bureau, enforcing ’house rules’ is strict, irrespective of who is backing you.

Therefore, Owl must ’atone for his crimes’ and do whatever he can to catch the stowaway.

Seeing this usually laid-back fellow turned proactive, working like his life depended on it, Stephanie chuckled lightly and said to Cassiopeia:

”It seems this matter is indeed related to this kid. I just wonder if it has anything to do with the Dean of the Stefala Palace Museum.”

Stefala Palace was the Imperial Palace during the Telekinesis Dynasty. After the dynasty was converted into the Federation, the then voluntarily abdicated Telekinesis Emperor became the first museum Dean, responsible for preserving this ’Civilization Historical Cultural Heritage’ and hosting extraterrestrial tourists from across the interstellar locales.

He and our Director both represent the pinnacle of the Mirta Civilization’s battle power, with the former signifying the limits of the Telekinesis System, while the latter is the epitome of Star Armor Technology, one individual and one legion.

”Whether it is or not, it will be clear after investigation,” Cassiopeia said in a rough voice, hard to imagine for someone known to be graceful and artistic like the Mirta people.

”The world is no longer the same; the remnants of the old era should stop thinking about secretly controlling our world,” Stephanie said disdainfully.

The dynasty’s fall and the Federation’s rise elevated the Civilization Ascension probability from a civilization point of view but also resulted in an internal shift of power, with political intrigue and power struggles almost pervading much of civilization’s development period.

...

Clues were soon discovered. The first confirmation was that indeed there was a fierce battle on this planet between Sola and the stowaway, as the battle marks spanning an entire continent could not be faked.

Moreover, it’s highly likely Sola met with misfortune because, according to the military’s Energy Detector, at least two energy fluctuations above Sola’s energy level were detected in the battle center.

Bear in mind, Sola was already a leader among the younger generation within the Federation; only civilizations of the same level could produce someone stronger than him.

As a matter of course, the Anti-Trafficking Bureau then focused their suspicion on the Galen Republic.

However, Cassiopeia seemed to have thought of something and did not make a direct judgment.

While he believed his battle power had surpassed that of the Telekinesis Emperor, in some aspects, he still couldn’t measure up to him, such as when notified about the mysterious ’Mechanical Throne Reserve’, which as Star Armor Corps Commander, he didn’t sense, only being informed later.

Soon another clue surfaced.

A Tier 3 battle of epic proportions couldn’t possibly be hidden from the numerous Mechanics in the Mechanical City.

According to their thinking, most of the tens of thousands of Mechanics had likely been silenced by the opponent.

Unexpectedly, those Mechanics weren’t dead but had lost that portion of their memory. When Telekinesis attempted to enter their Brain Domain to retrieve these memories, they found that related information was extremely chaotic and impossible to piece together.

Remember, any Telekinesis Cultivator is the best neurologist.

This level of information chaos gave the investigation direction a shift.

Could it be that this stowaway isn’t a soldier from the Galen Republic but a follower of some Cosmic Evil God?

To be safe, all Mechanics here were quarantined for a second inspection.

However, during the inspection, the Anti-Trafficking Bureau discovered a clue.

One of the Mechanics was missing.

”Chawei, a senior member of the Mechanician Association, employed by the Federation Starship Production Department, Mechanician points...”

Cassiopeia read through the data of this Mechanician named ’Chawei’. On the surface, he appeared to be an excellent Mechanic, but due to his background, he wasn’t heavily utilized. The key aspect was his identity—stowaway!

”Is it possible that this Chawei, the Bloodline Transformer, has been an undercover agent of some force within the Alliance for years?”

An Anti-Trafficking Bureau agent suddenly spoke.

Mechanical Throne clues, Galen Republic agents, Cosmic Evil God followers, fake Green Day Envoy...

A probe didn’t make it clear, but an investigation was shocking.

Regardless of which, the provenance of this stowaway signifies strong backing.

”It’s a pity; I’ve checked and during Sola’s battle with that person, many starship raw materials were destroyed, likely failing this audit,”

A newly arrived member remarked carelessly.

No one paid heed to the lost materials; a battle between two Tier 3 powerhouses could plow the planet’s surface easily.

Everyone was more concerned with the stowaway’s identity and true purpose.
