Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 1022: Chapter 128: Planet 3

The 17th Industrial Planet is located on the outskirts of the Benegla Star Province and is part of the Green Day Star Industrial Cluster. Inside the planet, there are ten continent-level industrial factories producing ships, mecha carriers, and mecha weapons. The entire industrial planet has a population of fewer than 30,000 people, and 90% of the industrial production area is controlled by quantum computers on this planet.

A total of one hundred quantum computers are evenly distributed over the ’Alloy Atmosphere’. They are charged by the planet’s self-rotation to manage the computing center, controlling the unmanned factories, checking for errors, like a net surveying the planet.

”But this planet doesn’t have a Planet Computer.”

Gao Gong raised his head, looking at the faintly visible computer control center above the ’Simulated Atmosphere’, and said softly.

”Yes, this is also why I dare to risk invading.”

Lolita nodded.

Now, without a doubt, the two are the masters of this planet. One thought can create life, one thought can destroy, one thought can kill all life on the planet, and one thought can activate the millions of large mechanical bodies on this planet.

The biggest reason for this is not the Power of the ’Intelligent Machinery Crisis’, but because this planet doesn’t have a Planet Computer!

Because if there was a Planet Computer in residence, even with the ’AI invasion’, it would at least resist for a period.

And during this period, it would be enough for the Federation to mobilize other virtual defense forces in this Star Zone to suppress the avatar of the mechanical Lolita known as the Planet Host.

If this were the case, Lolita wouldn’t dare to invade.

Even the host of the ’Intelligent Machinery Crisis’ is just a Planet Host of a Level 2 Civilization and couldn’t withstand the Power of a Level 3 Civilization.

And the biggest reason she dares to do this—

is that the Mirta Civilization hasn’t even ticked the ’Planet Computer’ on their Technology Tree.

...

Although Advanced Civilizations are strong, they are not omnipotent.

Different civilizations have tendencies in different Technology Trees.

Mecha Civilizations, even if wrapped in the Super Star Armor that can envelop planets, is essentially still individual equipment.

Whereas the Planet Computer is a Mechanical Attribute product of collective will.

This is in contrast to the development direction of the Mirta Civilization.

This does not mean its development direction is wrong.

In fact, the closer a civilization is to the Mechanical Civilization on the Technology Tree, the lower the probability of triggering a ’Mechanical Revolution’.

Conversely, when a civilization wants everything, that’s often when mechanical rebellion comes knocking.

So not developing a ’Planet Computer’ actually doesn’t count as a problem.

Moreover, not having a ’Planet Computer’ does not mean the Mirta civilization’s AI technology isn’t advanced, quite the opposite—

The Mirta Civilization developed a unique ’Thought AI’.

In essence, artificial intelligence belongs to Virtual Life, and the stronger the AI, the more ’human-like’ it becomes.

Thought AI is coded with Telekinesis, using human thoughts as the program and personality as the programming language, to fabricate ’Brain Domain Computers’.

This is equivalent to every advanced Mirta Warrior inserting a powerful ’Human Brain Computation Enhancement Chip’, combined with high-performance Star Armor, resulting in extraordinary strength.

And this ’Brain Domain Computer’, in essence, belongs to one form of ’Biological Computer’.

Moreover, its threshold is lower than most ’Biological Computers’; it doesn’t require powerful bloodlines, or rapid and wild evolution, just needing to develop telekinesis to a certain level and naturally cultivating a skill.

But this technology direction also has its shortcomings, namely once left unmanned, purely mechanical control is easily usurped.

For instance, right now.

”I once tried to directly liberate the ’Ascension Architecture’ on the Fixed Star, but during the invasion, I could vaguely sense a strong aura on the Fixed Star. This aura’s data intensity was stronger than mine.”

Lolita said to Gao Gong.

Gao Gong nodded and said:

”A stellar industrial cluster has Tier 4 Power suppressing it; this isn’t surprising. You’ve managed to hack an industrial planet under their noses, which is quite impressive.”

”But what I want to know is, how did you reasonably and legally get my fleet manufactured and shipped out.”

Given the typical strength of an interstellar war, to conquer an Armed Planet, the 111 Rule is needed. That is ten Interstellar Fortresses, one hundred Battleships, and one thousand Escort Ships.

Basically, with a fleet comprised of these 1110 starships, taking a planet is not an issue.

But the problem is, how to manufacture so many starships and get them out from Mirta Federation’s territory.

This seems almost impossible to achieve.

”If it’s just manufacturing, that’s not difficult,” Lolita seemed very confident.

”Parts loss.”

As an unmanned industrial planet producing round-the-clock, there is a parts loss rate. Exceeding this loss limit will bring authorized personnel for investigation and repair.

”I’ve overdrawn a hundred years of its loss rate, which is enough to accumulate the parts for assembling this fleet. Even before we leave, we could artificially create a significant industrial accident, destroying dozens of ship hulls.”

Lolita slowly revealed her plan. In fact, if Gao Gong were not worth the investment, this ’Loss Fleet’ was her crucial hold against the Alpha Civilization.

So it turns out it’s an interstellar version of the fire dragon burning the cargo hold.

Gao Gong realized.

A Planet Computer deserves its reputation too; it indeed requires the Planet Computer’s data processing system for everything to balance perfectly.

”So how do we ship them out then?”

Lolita said: ”Every ten years, the Green Day Star Industrial Cluster has to transport a batch of supply ships to various Federation fleet garrison areas. I can find a way to blend this fleet among them, but according to my calculation, there’s a 26.8% chance of unexpected factors occurring.”

So that’s a one in four chance.

Within the Federation territory, once discovered, Gao Gong might manage to survive or escape, but this ’Loss Fleet’ won’t be lucky enough to get away.

But to swipe a fleet of over a thousand Level 3 Spaceships, what more would you want than a plane!?

”I’ll take you to the weapon production factory to try mass-producing your Construct using this planet’s industrial technology,” Lolita said further.

Gao Gong nodded, which was previously agreed upon. Gao Gong is also curious whether the Federation’s technology can replicate this type of ’Carbon-Based Slaying Weapon’.

...

Meanwhile, on the famous ecological planet Valmy Star beside the Benegla Star Province, a mysterious investigation is underway.

In an ecological villa nestled among mountains and waters, one adult and three small Mirta people are looking at the investigators in front of them with faces full of panic.

Golden robes, black pants, contradictory to the romantic and lazy nature of the Mirta people, with a ferocious aura and holding a Telekinesis Cannon, all indicating this is an executioner from the Federation’s infamous Anti-Trafficking Bureau, the infamous Golden Skin Dogs, Alien Assassins, Golden Death Gods.

”We are Mirta people. According to the Federation’s regulations, you can’t search our house without reason!”

The middle-aged man shouted tremulously.

An executioner coldly stared at him, his eyes suddenly flashing with intense white light, the next moment, this male Mirta showed a painful expression, squeezed his throat, fell to his knees, his body arched, limbs shrinking, his human form through ’Species Transformation’ gradually turned into a long worm with five senses, shimmering with starlight.

The same operation was applied to the three young Mirta children, all transformed into smaller worms.

”Aeglamir Star Insect, one of the 174 Space Giant Beasts, although only larvae, still a pest!”

The executioner paused and coldly said:

”Pests should be cleaned up!!”
