Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 1024: Chapter 130: Job Change 2

Gao Gong chose the direction of the Level 3 Civilization as the Mechanician Civilization, so the Tier 3 job change is inevitably ’Mechanic’.

And for the Mechanic job change, sufficient ’Mechanical Data’ is needed.

’Maintenance Data’ also belongs to one type of it.

Here, it just happens to meet this requirement.

Therefore, when Gao Gong emptied all the ’Maintenance Data’, accumulating ’Maintenance Experience’ to two million, for a moment, his consciousness seemed to be covered by countless mechanical transformations, from the millions of parts in the Planet Cannon to the molecular plugins in precision instruments.

The creed of the Mechanic is not ’machinery’, but to lead the machinery.

At that moment, Gao Gong realized the essence of this profession.

[You have met the ’Senior Mechanic’ job change condition, do you want to proceed with the job change?]

Yes

[Job change successful, you have changed to ’Senior Mechanic’, personal reputation +2000, acquired talent ’Large Mechanical Affinity’, acquired talent ’Dexterous Hands’]

[You have comprehended the professional skill ’Mechanic Maintenance’]

[You have comprehended the professional skill ’Mechanic Enhancement’]

[You have comprehended the professional skill ’Mechanics Creation’]

[Your professional level has broken through ’Tier 3’]

[Your consciousness +500 points]

Gao Gong’s Electronic Eye instantly emitted a dazzling blue light, the eye membrane made of custom polyester ethylene began to transform, the pupil disappeared, as if part of it had melted, and strands of mist were implanted into it.

A moment later, the pupil emerged again, just smaller than before, but much sharper.

[You have completed one Mechanic Maintenance on Prosthetic Eye*2, field of vision +20%, vision intensity +20%]

Gao Gong nodded with satisfaction.

’Indeed, worthy of being an all-purpose profession, even the skills are versatile types, enhancing even such fine plugins as prosthetic eyes.’

Mechanic Enhancement: Perform a second upgrade on a certain Tier 3 mechanism, capable of enhancing 1%~30% of attributes, the more complex the mechanical structure, the higher the enhanced attributes

Gao Gong then looked at the introductions of the other two skills, which were similar to ’Mechanic Enhancement’, except one was for ’damaged mechanical devices’, the other had a 1~30% success rate bonus when creating new machinery.

One for repairing old machines, one for enhancing existing machines, and the other for creating new machines.

The combination of all three constitutes the Mechanic’s ancestral Three Divine Techniques!

All set!

It is worth mentioning that these three skills are also upgradeable, but what is consumed is not ordinary experience, but ’Maintenance Experience’.

As for the innate talents of the profession, they also help reduce the failure rate in the processes of Mechanic maintenance, manufacturing, and creation.

Dexterous Hands: When deploying Mechanic skills, failure rate -10%, machine damage -10%

”Not bad.”

Three skills, two talents, among them, the most valuable skill is ’Mechanics Creation’, which is one of the few that does not need blueprints and allows you to handcraft exquisite machinery.

If upgraded to the top level, it can even mass-produce ’Tier 3 Blueprints’.

As for the two talents,

’Dexterous Hands’ is a Mechanic Talent, while ’Large Mechanical Affinity’ is a Tier 3 Mechanic Talent.

And the reason why ’Mechanic’ is an all-purpose profession is because—

Tier 1 profession can be a Mechanic, Tier 2 profession can be a Mechanic, Tier 3 profession can be a Mechanic, and it can even advance all the way upward.

The strongest Mechanic Gao Gong had seen was a Tier Six Mechanic.

And the full title of a Tier Six Mechanic is Creator Mechanician.

Likewise, the Mechanician Civilization is also an all-purpose civilization within the Mechanical System; it can be a Level 1 Civilization, or a Level 2 Civilization, Level 3 Civilization, Level 4 Civilization... at most a Level 6 Civilization.

The reason the ceiling is Level 6,

is that in the Cosmos, different Technology Trees have different upper limits, among which, the height of the Mechanic Technology Tree is Level 6; going beyond that, it’s no longer a realm this Technology Tree can ascend to.

And this secret, Gao Gong only realized after developing ’Fantasy Land’ to Tier Six in his past life.

And the Virtual Civilization he mastered also has the same Level 6 upper limit, considered a similar misfortunate as the Mechanician Civilization.

However, encountering this situation is usually in the late game, and by that time, there are basically no living players left.

The main reason Gao Gong chose the Mechanician Civilization as the precursor civilization for ’Ascension’ is because it is a true all-purpose type.

From Planet Cannons, Dimensional Space Guns, to Water Drops, 2-Dimensional Foil, internal to AI armies, Virtual Virus production, external to Mechanical Planets, Planet Engines, Light-speed Spaceships.

As long as it’s related to machinery.

It truly can create anything!

In the Civilization Council, there has always been a joke—

’Are you a Mechanician Civilization? Why don’t you look like me?’

’Nor do you, could you be a counterfeit?’

’No, we are all counterfeit.’

’Then who is the genuine one?’

’The genuine Mechanician Civilization has not ascended yet.’

Ten thousand Mechanician Civilizations, have ten thousand technological directions, let alone being the same, there are few that are even similar.

And with this universal lubricant, Gao Gong can develop mechanical devices that are 100% compatible with ’Biological Weapons’.

After all, besides the Mechanician Civilization following a Fusion Route, Gao Gong also simultaneously needs to develop a Carbon-Based Civilization.

And a large number of Mechanics can serve the all-purpose role, thus avoiding the scenario where two different systems fight their own battles.

However, what Gao Gong needs to do now is another thing—

’With the ’Mechanician’s Three Divine Techniques’, I can create Tier 3 Constructs now!’

’Watch me create Machine God Techniques without blueprints!!’

...

Chawei felt that the ’Green Day Envoy’ who came in this time was a bit odd, but couldn’t pinpoint what was odd.

For example, this Robot not only completed its work but also liked to ask questions, asking about what he did before, his salary, if he had a vacation, if he had a partner.

If it weren’t for his having established a family and career in the Federation, he would even suspect the other party might introduce a partner to him.

However, this peculiar enthusiasm made Chawei feel a different emotion.

The Mirta People carry many labels: romantic, artistic, powerful, intelligent, individualistic, but enthusiasm is not among them.

In fact, besides his partner, it was the first time someone showed him such ’care’, even his son had gradually become a stranger to him because of the Mirta’s values.

”A strange Robot, I wonder whose ’personality’ it is.”

When Telekinesis is developed to a certain level, it can split ’Virtual Personalities’ to evolve AI.

Thus created AI can seamlessly integrate with oneself.

In fact, some advanced Telekinesis Users can decompose thousands of personalities, create military AI, then combine them with personalized Star Armor to create a personal Mecha frenzy.

One person is a Legion!

Many of the well-known Mirta Federation strong individuals have their hallmark methods as personal Star Armor Legions, even the strong from the Galen Republic often lose to these numerous and varied AI Star Armor.

The reason Chawei thought of this was because his own son had apprenticed under a Telekinesis Master, delving into Mirta Telekinesis.

At this moment, a siren suddenly went off, Chawei looked up, only to find a Golden Starship had appeared outside the steel atmosphere, sending a signal requesting to land.

And at the first sight of this Golden Starship, Chawei’s legs trembled, cold sweat trickled down his back, almost unable to stand.

Executors of the Anti-Trafficking Bureau!

Those golden skin dogs!!!
