His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1786: Chapter 501: Beware of Certain Girls

Everyone was working diligently, including the receptionist Xiaoyan, who was focused on reviewing the client list.

But the sound of high heels clicking on the floor finally made everyone lift their heavy heads.

”Is your boss here?”

The girl stood at the front desk.

Xiaoyan looked up, stunned at the beautiful woman in front of her: ”Who are you?”

”A client! I’m here to have her design clothes for me!”

The girl seriously stated her purpose for coming.

”I’m sorry, Ms. Qin is not taking orders recently. If you don’t have a prior appointment, then my apologies!”

As a professional receptionist, Xiaoyan politely explained to her.

”Oh? Why isn’t she taking orders anymore?”

The girl asked Xiaoyan, puzzled.

Xiaomei came downstairs, tilting her head to look at the front desk area. She examined the girl at the reception; she looked quite young and vibrant, but...

That pink short skirt with those deep blue high heels...

Xiaomei, who had very strict standards for beauty, couldn’t quite handle the impact, so she reflexively walked over slowly.

Xiaoyan was struggling to explain, seeing Xiaomei coming over, she immediately said to her: ”Xiaomei, this young lady is here looking for Sister Qinqin to design clothes. I told her Sister Qinqin isn’t taking orders recently, but...”

”I’m here for her reputation, she can name any price, I just want her to design.”

The girl courteously repeated.

”As for money! Although our boss is not someone who has a problem with money, she also isn’t really lacking.”

Xiaomei’s voice was very slow, fearing she’d say something too harsh and start a fight.

But looking at the girl’s attire, Xiaomei felt she probably wasn’t a real rich girl.

She had just passed the reception area and noticed the cars parked outside, only worth a few hundred thousand, and how could a wealthy young lady wear such mismatched clothes?

”What do you mean by that? Are you looking down on me?”

The girl, upset by Xiaomei’s slow words, immediately got unhappy, turning to question her.

”Of course not! Customers are our God, but it’s well-known that Ms. Qin is not taking orders recently. If you really value our JY brand, all our studio’s other designers are excellent too.”

Seeing her angry, Xiaomei might not have liked her temper, but she still spoke kindly.

”I want only Qin Mu, no one else!”

The girl insisted again.

”Well, you can leave your contact information, perhaps next spring, when Ms. Qin might take orders again, we will contact you immediately.”

”Next spring? You mean a year later?”

The girl furrowed her brows, almost out of breath from anger with Xiaomei, but refrained from cursing out of caution.

”Yes!”

Xiaomei replied.

Helian Hao happened to come over to chat with Qin Mu, and as soon as she walked in, she was attracted by a girl in a pink short outfit, but noticing the situation wasn’t great, she exchanged glances with Xiaomei and quietly walked past them upstairs.

”What kind of logic is this? A designer not designing clothes, then why be a designer?”

The girl argued with Xiaomei, unhappy and stubborn.

Helian Hao heard the sharpness in her words and felt it didn’t quite fit the girl’s demeanor, so she turned her head to look, then kept feeling uneasy as she walked, turning her head again at the stairs feeling familiar.

”Strange, there’s someone downstairs causing trouble, looks familiar!”

Helian Hao said as she entered Qin Mu’s office afterward.

Later, Qin Mu stood at the window watching the girl retrieving her car from the parking lot. Her expression showed little interest; over the years, she had seen plenty of people making a fuss when she refused to design fashion for them.

”By the way! Do you remember the time at the noodle shop, the two girls dressed exceptionally vibrant?”

Helian Hao slumped at her desk for a moment, suddenly smacking the table, her expression still bewildered, as though she hadn’t recovered from the shock.

Qin Mu instinctively turned to look at Helian Hao, then gradually woke up, was it the girl with Zhang Hongyun?

She had visited Mu Yichen’s office building in the morning, and by the afternoon Zhang Hongyun’s friend was here making trouble, clearly Zhang Hongyun is indeed restless.

Xiaomei sent the girl away, went upstairs, sat in the chair in front of her desk, waving a piece of paper vigorously, ranting in frustration. Qin Mu stood at the window, having her back to the light, quietly listening for a while.
