His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1771: Chapter 495: Abandonment?

”The quality of the JY brand is beyond doubt, I can guarantee it with my personal reputation. Why don’t you tell me what you’re unhappy with, and I can help you modify it.”

Qin Mu stretched out the clothes, looked carefully, and then looked at the woman.

The woman slowly stood up: ”Are you the owner of this shop?”

Qin Mu glanced up, seeing the woman seemed to finally understand her identity, she only nodded silently.

”Then what about the seam that’s split here? The gap is so big!”

The woman asked again, reaching to hold the torn part of the fabric.

”That’s why I asked you what you’re unhappy with so I can help you modify it. If you say it’s torn, you outsiders believe it, but as an insider, I can tell at a glance it’s been cut!”

Qin Mu thought of saying she could call her a troublemaker, but she held back, thinking it’s better to avoid confrontation, especially since the expression on the woman’s face had already revealed everything to Qin Mu.

”Cut? But the seam was too long, it looked ugly, so I trimmed the thread a bit! Don’t assume I ruined it because I disliked it and came to exchange it, I’m not like that!”

The woman continued to explain, putting on a rational front.

Qin Mu just smiled at her for a few seconds, then handed the skirt to Wang Li: ”Forget it, let’s refund the skirt for this lady!”

The woman was dumbfounded, completely unsure what Qin Mu was doing, staring blankly at her.

Wang Li, taking the clothes, also looked at Qin Mu, unsure if she was serious.

”If you want to exchange, please pick another one, but this is the last time!”

Qin Mu added another sentence, then turned to leave.

”Wait!”

The woman suddenly felt a tightness in her chest, instinctively calling out to Qin Mu.

Qin Mu turned around, looking at her with sharp eyes, not particularly interested.

”Can you modify this skirt to satisfy me?”

Qin Mu turned fully towards her, feet together, gazing confidently at her: ”As long as you can articulate it, I can do it!”

”Alright! Then help me modify it!”

The woman suddenly changed her initial decision.

Qin Mu watched her for a few seconds, confirming she wouldn’t change her mind, then glanced at Wang Li.

”Please come with me!”

Wang Li moved ahead, with Qin Mu and the others following, heading to the room for clothing alterations.

Qin Mu had the woman wear the clothes again, instantly seeing the mismatch between the woman and the outfit, wondering why she chose this skirt in the first place.

Wang Li stood to the side, softly saying to Qin Mu: ”There are plenty of customers like her, who love something at first and then later feel it’s unsuitable. We can’t offer this treatment to everyone.”

”Mm!”

Qin Mu agreed quietly, then stepped forward, as the woman was still standing outside the fitting room, turning left and right in front of the mirror, feeling it didn’t quite fit, like it was too loose.

”The shoulders seem a bit loose!”

Qin Mu went over to pinch the fabric on her shoulder, as the woman murmured, Qin Mu looked up, her sharp, indifferent gaze making the woman’s voice drop several degrees because of her stare.

”Summer’s coming soon, if you don’t mind, I can directly cut off the two short sleeves, and also adjust the waist area further. But if it’s not suitable, why did you buy it?”

”At the time, I thought it looked unique!”

The woman responded, revealing her capriciousness.

There are many such women, but those who face the store owner so boldly to exchange clothes are indeed few.

”Go take it off, Xiaoshen, go grab the new style we just launched, let this lady try it on first, the dark green one!”

The employee standing at the doorway immediately acknowledged and ran to fetch the clothes upon hearing Qin Mu’s instructions.

The woman turned to look at Qin Mu after hearing the instructions: ”You don’t intend for me to buy more, do you?”

”If I put in so much effort, if you don’t buy more, wouldn’t I be working in vain?”

Qin Mu raised her eyebrows, with a smile that was not quite a smile.

The woman dared not defy her, also smiled, thought for a moment, and asked: ”Are you really the owner of this shop? The woman who came back from Paris to marry the young master of the Mu Family? The one, the mayor’s daughter abandoned for years?”

It was all fine until that last question, even Wang Li couldn’t believe she looked at the woman, Qin Mu’s gaze grew colder.

”Abandoned? It’s discarded, isn’t it?”

Qin Mu thought for a moment, speaking lightly in response.

”Uh!”

The woman did not expect Qin Mu to actually say that, unconsciously pursed her slightly dry lips.

The employee brought the new clothes for the woman, who went to the fitting room to change.

”Aren’t you worried she’ll like the new style and not want the one she chose?”

Wang Li asked Qin Mu with some concern.

Qin Mu said: ”I’ll lend her the courage!”

Wang Li...

Qin Mu’s voice was moderate, yet always carried a surprisingly powerful impact.

While they were speaking, the woman was sitting on the sofa, straining to listen, unconsciously furrowing her brow and smirking.
