His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1754: Chapter 490: Be Careful (3)

When they returned home and hadn’t reached the living room yet, they heard Feng Fanghua’s voice inside. Qin Mu and Mu Yichen were used to this kind of noise and felt the house was particularly lively.

”The elementary school Huanhuan will attend must be the best private school in the city!”

Feng Fanghua was talking to Mu Zihao about how the principal called her this morning, wanting Huanhuan to attend their school.

”It’s still necessary to consider the faculty!”

Mu Zihao mentioned.

”Of course, the faculty must be taken into account. I’ve inquired about the teachers at that prestigious school; all of them are graduates of higher education institutions.”

Feng Fanghua added.

Mu Zihao nodded.

”Zihao attended public school when he was young, and wasn’t everything just fine?”

The old man sat in the front listening to their conversation and said unhappily.

”Dad, that was a long time ago; things are different now!”

Feng Fanghua softly said to the old man.

”What’s different? It’s just that they ask for more money than before! The state provides you with free education, yet you insist on spending money on private schools and prestigious institutions. Isn’t that crazy?”

The old man commented.

Qin Mu and Mu Yichen walked in together, seeing the old man criticizing his daughter-in-law.

”Grandpa, Mom, Dad, we’re back!”

Qin Mu greeted as she walked over and sat down with Mu Yichen, noticing everyone’s expressions weren’t great, she thought: ”Whether public or private, we should choose a school without much competitiveness, somewhere with a better learning atmosphere, that would be fine!”

When Qin Mu said this, Feng Fanghua and Mu Zihao looked at her, and even the old man’s eyes widened a bit.

”Mumu’s words make a lot of sense, mainly evaluating the school’s learning environment. It’s beneficial for the child’s physical and mental health, that’s what’s important, and spending money isn’t an issue, our family isn’t lacking!”

The old man spread his hands, feeling relieved at this point!

”If that’s the case, I’ll take a closer look in the next few days!”

Feng Fanghua didn’t refute Qin Mu, she was the most proactive about her granddaughter’s elementary school.

”I’ll accompany you!”

Mu Zihao said.

”Hmph! Forget it!”

Feng Fanghua dismissively said, thinking he just thinks everywhere is good!

Mu Zihao is not a picky person in life.

However, Feng Fanghua originally thought her husband was only unpicky about life, now she knows he’s also unpicky about schools.

Qin Mu watched the couple always coordinating and synergizing, feeling both envious and happy.

It’s as if seeing the interaction between her in-laws gives a glimpse of her future interaction with Mu Yichen.

Although no one would expect to grow old, strangely, she wishes to see them walking together when they’re gray-haired.

That sight would surely make many people envious, perhaps they’re bickering, not yielding to each other, but when seen from afar, people would say: Look! That old couple is so loving, still strolling together despite their white hair!

Thinking of such a beautiful future, Qin Mu couldn’t help but curl her lips sweetly.

Mu Yichen sat by her side without speaking. In fact, he didn’t have any particular ideas about which elementary school his daughter should attend. Huanhuan has to grow where she is.

For Huanhuan, Mu Yichen actually felt relieved; she was sensible since childhood, ever since they first met when she stood next to him obediently calling him dad.

How clever she was, she called him dumbstruck.

Thinking about their first meeting, Mu Yichen’s heart still hurt a little.

How could he have been so foolish? His daughter was right before him, calling him dad over and over, yet he dared not acknowledge!

He turned to look at Qin Mu, recalling how well she hid things for those two years, he suddenly forgave himself, feeling resentful, it’s this woman, she’s the one who kept them estranged for two years.

This woman is truly capable; she hadn’t matured yet already gave him such a beautiful daughter, and raised her splendidly.

He remembers at first, after his friends met Huanhuan, they all said she looked like him, but he refused to believe it, later they even secretly bet on Huanhuan.

Mu Yichen raised his hand and gently touched her hair, Qin Mu instinctively turned to look at him, using her eyes to ask what he was doing, he just smiled slightly, showing that very enticing and unsettling gaze.
