Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1446: Chapter 128: No End_3

But all this did not escape Margaret’s eyes.

She adjusted her uniform, smiled, picked up the communicator, and issued her first command as a member of the bandit army. ”I am Margaret. Now, I take over the command of the fighter cluster. I order the first and third battalions to target the enemy Space Carrier Vincent and concentrate their attack. The second battalion will provide interception cover. The fourth and fifth battalions, target the enemy Space Carrier Fei Xue...”

As this familiar voice sounded in the communication channel, the chaotic Feiyang Fighter cluster quickly transformed from free attack to group attack.

Even though the Jiepeng Battleship frantically protected the carrier, even sacrificing their own bodies to block the fighter group’s artillery. However, under Margaret’s command, the all-pervasive fighter cluster still swept in wave after wave from all directions like a gale. The two Jiepeng Space Carriers only lasted less than five minutes before successively disintegrating and exploding.

With the loss of two Space Carriers, the release rate of Jiepeng’s fighters has evidently fallen behind the rate of losses.

Facing the Feiyang Fighter cluster that swiftly changed direction and aimed at the other two Space Carriers, the Jiepeng Battleship Main Formation, which had just started to gather itself, fell into chaos once again.

”Maggie has acted.” On the fourth-floor platform of the command hall, Garfield stared at the SkyNet screen, the face that always remained expressionless showed a rare smile.

”It’s about time she acted.” Diana looked obsessively at the graceful figure on the command stage, naturally saying, ”In such localized singular combat command, even Tony can’t match her.”

Speaking, Diana confusedly asked, ”What were they just discussing? Are they planning to hand all command authority to Maggie?”

Garfield glanced at the command platform and shook his head, ”I suppose not, General Tian is still at the command seat. It seems that the command authority of the fighter cluster is handed to Maggie.”

Diana slightly pursed her lips, ”I rather think Maggie should command the Destroyer Fleet’s battle.”

”Why?” Garfield was somewhat surprised.

From the beginning of the battle until now, Fatty has shown talents in this fight that Garfield utterly admired.

Even though Fatty lost to Auben in the forty-minute struggle, being able to push Auben to this extent was enough to earn the respect of every member of this fleet. This is war, regardless of the process, he ultimately achieved victory. Moreover, it’s the victory in battle with the One-eyed Python Auben!

Just look at those staff officers whose eyes are glowing and foreheads sweating from excitement to understand what this victory means to them, a victory that can shock the entire Fei Alliance.

It’s merit and supreme glory!

Seeing Garfield’s astonished expression, Diana derisively said, ”Even if that guy used clever tricks to underhand Auben’s Battleship Main Formation, it can’t hide the fact that he was utterly defeated in head-on combat. As a Commander, if he can’t defeat the enemy head-on, one day he will fall into his own trap.”

Garfield understood. His gaze glanced at Isaac beside him, then slightly smiled at Diana and turned his head away.

He knew this girl, as enticing as a Demon Fire, who could make most men lose their senses with just a seductive look and a coy smile, had the same problem as Isaac. Even... more fatal than Isaac!

”Main Formation, right rudder one thousand three hundred and fifteen clicks, ready for full battery fire...” Tony’s command voice rang in the command hall. The main formation began turning towards the right wing.

Garfield’s eyebrow twitched and he suddenly turned his head.

The starry sky on the left wing, due to the ship’s turn, gradually slipped out of the porthole view, with the Siriaduo fleet barely visible, along with the rapidly approaching silhouettes of the three Jiepeng Sub-fleets further away.

The choice to point the bow towards the right wing, while completely consuming Auben’s Battleship Main Formation, also meant that the tail of their main formation was exposed under the guns of the opponent’s four Destroyer Sub-fleets.

The Siriaduo cruiser finally disappeared from outside the porthole. Garfield silently watched Fatty on the command platform.

Do you want to have another round with Auben?!

General Tian!

”Commander, the opponent is requesting communication,” a communications officer shouted, ”the opponent’s Commander is asking who you are.”

Under the surprised gazes of everyone, Fatty picked up the communicator and gestured to the communications officer.

The communications officer clicked on the connect button.

”I’m your grandpa.”

Fatty’s voice echoed through the silent command hall.
