Chapter 1406: Chapter 108: Secret Fleet (2)

Fatty raised his finger and shook it again.

Matt burst into laughter, and cheerfully said to Fatty, ”You won’t tell me you want to buy a hundred ships, will you?”

As soon as he finished speaking, he saw Fatty nodding quickly.

Matt stared blankly at Fatty, whose eyes were shining, finally certain that this guy was a complete lunatic. A hundred Space Carriers, my God, probably even all of Feiyang combined doesn’t have that many. Forget whether Fatty has enough money; just talking about Meteor Company’s production capacity, it’s impossible to take such an order. With the full force of a shipyard working overtime, a single Space Carrier requires a year of production. Currently, Meteor Company’s three carrier shipyards can at most start construction on six Space Carriers at the same time.

By the time a hundred carriers are produced, the war might already be over!

Moreover, Space Carriers can’t operate alone, which has long been an ironclad rule in space warfare. An old-style A-level fleet includes nearly sixteen hundred ships, comprising battleships, cruisers, destroyers, torpedo boats, and escort ships surrounding the Space Carrier. Even though newer fleets have eliminated many escort-grade ships due to enhanced warship capabilities, you still need at least two hundred ships.

Even if a fleet is equipped with two Space Carriers, Fatty would still need fifty A-level fleets. What a massive cluster of battleships, cruisers, and destroyers that would be! With such power, you wouldn’t even need Space Carriers to wipe out the Sheldon Fleet stationed in the Leray Central Star System!

Seeing Matt’s strange expression, Fatty anxiously asked, ”So, how about it?”

Matt wryly smiled and said, ”General Tian, you must be joking. Meteor Company only has three shipyards capable of building Space Carriers, each with two docks. All working at full capacity, it would take over ten years to build a hundred carriers.”

”Over ten years?” Fatty shook his head quickly, ”I can’t wait that long. You have at most one year to give me a hundred carriers. Moreover, I need at least twenty within two months.”

Matt was on the verge of tears, looking left and right, considering whether to risk jumping off the speeding Flying Car to escape this obviously very abnormal madman.

Fatty clearly didn’t notice Matt’s thoughts, and just took the electronic file, flipping through it while asking, ”How many shipyards does Meteor Company have now?”

Matt didn’t know what Fatty was thinking, sighed, and answered, ”There are a hundred and sixty in Feiyang, and with the space docks and those in other countries, there are about three hundred.”

”How many docks are there in total?” Fatty asked, looking at the top of the Flying Car, with an old man’s wisdom.

”Six for building carriers, sixty for building battleships, three hundred for building cruisers, and twelve hundred for building destroyers,” Matt reported his most familiar data, feeling helpless. Although there are many shipyards, there are only a few that can accommodate the construction of super-large carriers. The others are small docks totally unrelated to carriers. Does Fatty think every dock can be used to build carriers?

Just as this thought crossed his mind, Matt heard Fatty cheerfully clap his hands and shout, ”That’s enough, more than enough!”

Matt was startled, staring foolishly at Fatty.

If the idea of jumping from the car was a joke earlier, now he had the impulse.

”Did you not read the designs carefully?” Fatty smiled and stuffed the electronic file back into Matt’s hands.

”General Tian... Although we have many shipyards, not every one can produce such super-large vessels as carriers,” Matt said, pained, as he looked at the diagrams at the top of the file.

”Huh?” Matt paused, surprised, ”What is this?”

On the design drawings was a battleship-level warship with a strange shape. Although the ship’s power and combat systems were complete, there were six unusual devices on the hull. Moreover, its internal structure was vastly different from regular battleships, and even the shell had some movable armor sections.

A thought quickly jumped into Matt’s mind, and he hurriedly turned the pages.

Various cross-sections of cruiser and destroyer-level strange warships appeared before him. Matt’s eyes suddenly lit up, his cheeks flushed, breathing quickened, and his forehead sweated.

Fatty nervously bit his finger.

People have heard of getting a rush from erotic drawings, but never from mechanical design drawings. Master Fatty’s skills have reached a point where he can injure with any object?

”Is this real?” When Matt looked up again, his voice was already hoarse.

Fatty blinked his eyes and nodded.

Until the Flying Car delivered him to the Meteor Company’s branch in Hanjing, got off, stood at the door, and watched the convoy leave, the old man was still clutching the structural drawings, staring wide-eyed.

Detachable carriers... simultaneously under construction. Most are cruiser and destroyer-level vessels with strange shapes. Fatty wasn’t going to use fifty A-level fleets to form a carrier battle group. What he planned to create was a completely different combat style from modern space fleets.

Twenty detachable Space Carriers as a formation. Carrying over twenty thousand Space Fighters.
