Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1345: Chapter 79: Myth Shattered (4)

The electric blue Mecha crashed fiercely into the black Mecha group.

The military officers of various nations felt as if something had suddenly stabbed their eyes, causing extreme pupil constriction.

The screen echoed with the sounds of thousands of Mechas colliding at high speed, along with an unparalleled visual impact that seemed to speed up their heartbeats exponentially, the severe contraction of their hearts causing the blood in their veins to surge uncontrollably like a car with the gas pedal pressed all the way down, racing up to their heads.

In the instant of collision, the black armored group of the 31st Army cleared an eye-catching patch of empty space.

The blue Mecha crashed into the group like a giant iron hammer smashing into a pile of flour; in the air, whole Mechas and their shattered wreckage flew and scattered.

In that instant, dozens of Feiyang Mechas shattered, hundreds staggered back. Yet the blue Mecha was unscathed!

”Sixty-nine to zero!” shouted an officer standing by the data collector.

The room erupted like a boiling pot.

”Stop it, just watch, watch...,” the Tatania Major said urgently, flushed red.

On the screen, thousands of Mechas were already engaged in fierce combat, the crashes happening too fast for anyone to catch their breath.

The officers had seen countless times the scene of bullets sweeping up targets, leaving debris flying or armor-piercing missiles drilling and exploding armor, yet now thousands of fast blue Mechas seemed like a barrage of blue bullets, sweeping over black targets. Those blue figures like bullets were far more breathtaking than the barrage fired by energy machine guns.

On the screen, a blue Mecha shot like an arrow at two oncoming Feiyang Divine Gifted Mechas.

Just as the blue Mecha rushed close, the two Feiyang mechanics simultaneously launched attacks; the left Divine Gifted swiftly kicked a side leg while the right continued to advance, sidestepping two steps to throw a powerful punch at the root of the blue Mecha’s ear.

In a flash, the blue figure flickered; the bulky blue Mecha, with agility totally inconsistent with its body, slipped between the two Divine Gifted’s attack angles. This flicker was twice as fast as before; on the screen, it only appeared as a vague phantom.

”Boom!” the shoulder of the right Divine Gifted suddenly exploded. The entire arm and shoulder burst into hundreds of tiny fragments, the transmission rod at the shoulder’s hole twisted and rapidly rotated in the air, hitting the Mecha’s shell with banging sounds. Before everyone could regain their senses, they saw the blue Mecha, at some unknown point, had already appeared before the other Divine Gifted.

If the previous attack was extremely fast movement, then transitioning to an appearance was the extreme of stillness. The officers, almost in disbelief, watched the blue Mecha calmly punch the Divine Gifted’s waist.

The blue Mecha’s mechanical arm, in a hook punch, with its forearm and upper arm forming a ninety-degree angle, its blue armor fiercely trembling at the moment of impact with the Divine Gifted’s body, as if about to burst free from the armor locks. The swivel valve and gears at the elbow spun rapidly, several multi-directional transmission rods stretching back and forth. In the air, a hint of red instantly enveloped the entire forearm with the punch...

Deformation, distortion, rupture... the area of the Divine Gifted hit by the punch was like a broken eggshell. In the slow-motion footage from the high-speed camera equipped with the data collector, they could clearly see the blue Mecha’s mechanical fist, breaking through the opponent’s armor and shell, intruding into the opponent’s body, suddenly spread open in claw shape and quickly selected...

Hand speed 56, the screen’s corner showed vivid red numbers, as at the moment the blue Mecha’s fist drilled into the Divine Gifted’s body, the upper left corner of the data collector momentarily froze.

Amid the stupefied gazes of the military officers, the screen showed seven or eight blue Mechas simultaneously sweeping past the two shell-shocked Divine Gifted Mechas, each blue figure passing by leaving a shocking scar on the two Divine Gifted Mechas. When the blue Mecha group charged towards the distant Feiyang Mechas, the two Divine Gifted had already turned into two heaps of scrap metal.

Instant kill!

This unbelievable fact appeared in every corner simultaneously.

These blue steel fatties, like wolves or tigers. In front of their chillingly intense attacks, one Feiyang Mecha after another was chopped down like vegetables.

From the onset, the sweeping massacre gave the Feiyang people no chance.

Within the black Mecha group, a wide passage rapidly extended forward as the blue Mecha advanced. On this path, there was not a single standing Feiyang Mecha. Here, there was only wreckage, nothing but wreckage.

Reaching the center of the 31st Army’s Mecha group, the bandit army stopped, with over two hundred Mechas propped at the forefront, and the remaining hundreds split into two arrows to start attacking left and right.

51.....55...52....61...43...66....

One by one, the scarlet data rapidly changed on the data collector, able to simultaneously gather the data of hundreds of Mechas, regardless of direction, all showed numbers above 50.

Occasional appearances of 3, 40 were on the blue Mecha leisurely following in the rear like a stroll.

The officers of various countries had completely lost the capacity to think, they stared blankly at these numbers, blankly at the previously near-invincible Feiyang 31st Army being beaten like a mangy dog.

The Mech Knights of the 31st Army still tried desperately to charge forward.

Because, at the center of the blue Mechas, hundreds of bandit soldiers were leisurely beating their officers.

This encirclement was like a vibrant and scorching flame, attracting the mech knights of the 31st Army to charge desperately toward it. Their chief of staff, division commanders, their clothes were already torn, with not a few of them naked, clutching their vital parts, rolling on the ground. And their commander Faset no longer retained a composed demeanor. His clothes hung like tattered rags crisscrossing his body, and his face seemed to have been stung by hornets, swollen and bruised, with eyelids swollen squeezing his eyes into a line.

Looking at the bandit army soldiers ruthlessly attacking within the encirclement, officers from various countries felt a chill spread through their bodies.

The incident involving Vice Admiral Tian Xingjian’s assault had evidently driven the entire bandit army insane. These warriors from the Leray Federation, having fought for four years against Gazalin, Jiepeng, Suss, Desic, and continuing up to now, along with their companions on Mars deemed natural criminals, were indulging in revenge.

The officers had never imagined that the fury of an army could be so unbearable.

to 0, 340 to 0, 1125 to 0...... These frenzied figures continued to rise crazily. The attacking bandit army armored group only focused on their assault, like a meat grinder stuffing the mech knights of the 31st Army inside, grinding them into pulp. They kept changing directions, shattering any Feiyang Mecha in front.

Their attack was not only frenzied but also composed.

When the mech knights ahead were tired or their mecha damaged, companions from behind would push forward. They continuously alternated cover and cooperation, each strike extremely fierce and vicious.

Seeing the 31st Army was barely holding on, suddenly, the tide-like Feiyang Mecha group split into two channels, over two thousand gray Long Blades burst forward, aiming directly at Faset, who was surrounded by two hundred blue mechas.

The 31st Army deployed their strongest unit, seizing the best opportunity. At this moment, the vanguard of the bandit army mecha group had dispersed to both wings, deeply penetrating the armored cluster of the 31st Army. Everyone was only focused on their mad assault, leaving behind just two hundred idle blue mechas, safeguarding the Special Soldier beating the men and their commander Rashid.

The 31st Army’s special armored group, if they could break through the two hundred blue mechas before them, could turn the tide of battle.

In the blink of an eye, two special armored groups had charged to the front of the bandit army’s Central Group from the left and right. The mecha in front desperately dragged the bandit army’s two attack arrows, preventing them from turning back to assist.

The performance of the 31st Army earned silent praise from officers of various nations.

The Leefer Legion was called the Iron Army not just in vain. Even facing an extraordinary offensive from the bandit army, the 31st Army showed no signs of collapsing yet. Their mech knights were all reckless, charging up to attack regardless of whether they could reach the enemy. Those waves of offensive made hearts shiver just watching.

However, luck seemed entirely absent on their side today.

Several times, everyone witnessed near absolute kill situations where Feiyang Mechas inexplicably made errors. Yet those bandit army soldiers remained composed and calm even facing absolute kill, as if knowing they were under divine favor, facing danger, not even blinking, just determined to strike fiercely.

If the 31st Army’s Special Forces Group could open a breach in the encirclement of over two hundred bandit army mechas, the battle’s outcome would still be undecided. Know that they were operating Eleventh Generation Mechas as Level 8 Mecha Warriors, with many Level 9 Mecha Warriors among the Sharp Blade Company. This was elite among elites.

Seemingly noticing the surging opponent, Rashid in the mecha group smiled grimly, waved his hand, and said: ”Drag away.”

Several dozen Special Soldier warriors each kicked the Feiyang officers they had beaten down to the ground, dragging them by the feet as if pulling dead dogs, heading toward the base gate. Faset was not given any special treatment either. A particularly fierce kick was given to him by a skinny soldier, and as he struggled on the ground, another soldier kicked his head twice.

The ground suddenly showed trails of flying dust.

Over two hundred blue mechas split fifty each left and right to face the charging 31st Army Special Forces Group, the remaining one hundred mechas followed behind as if oblivious, walking back with them. Up front, the bandit army attack arrows splitting the wings did not directly turn back but instead circled to the rear of the Special Forces Group.

The divided one hundred mechas made no intention to launch an attack.

They were merely moving around in place, doing preparatory work. Some squatted in horse stance, some twisted their hips, some went back and forth rocking their pelvis.

The officers upstairs watching the data collection device bounce out with figures over 60 suddenly drew a blank.
