Chapter 1355: Chapter 86: The Collapse of Myths (End) (2)

The wings, an eagle spreading its wings, clasping a shield-shaped emblem with the word ”bandit” in it, strikingly eye-catching in the magnified lens.

The fighter jets flash through the void like lightning, the lens following them, as they accelerate and roll, a massive Binart Space Carrier appears before everyone’s eyes.

The fighter jets swiftly approach the Space Carrier, the surrounding anti-aircraft fire growing denser. The jets dance and roll like swallows in a storm. Finally, with two blue beams shooting from under the wings, two missiles suddenly launch toward the Space Carrier. When the missiles explode in flames on the heavy hull of the Carrier, the fighter jets have already quickly pulled their noses up, skimming into the distance.

The camera zooms out, revealing the intense battlefield in full view.

The carrier hovering in the void is already in tatters, crisscrossed with cracks, resembling a shell of solidified magma, emitting a tinge of bright red. Countless Bandit Army warplanes dance crazily amid the anti-aircraft fire, closing in fast, releasing missiles, and scattering in rolls. Pursued by anti-aircraft fire, they stick close to the Carrier’s hull, flying from one end to the other.

Further away, the main guns of several strange ramming-beak Bandit Army warships fire simultaneously, countless Binart battleships and aircraft desperately rushing back.

People watch the intense battle scene in fascination, their hearts rising and falling with the changing tides of battle. The battle in the Longbow Star System was vaguely reported by the Allies, with only a few knowing about the presence of the bandit army. Most people remained unaware of the bandit army’s role in this battle.

And thus, when the engagement in the Longbow Star System was attributed to the bandit army’s achievements, many held doubts.

All doubts vanished at this moment. People stared dazedly at this small fleet engaged in combat within the Central Group of the Binart Fleet, watching countless missiles and Energy Cannons fly toward the Binart Space Carrier, and witnessed the bandit army fighters turn into fireballs amid the spider-web-like anti-aircraft fire in the starry sky.

The bandit fleet, not even classifiable as a B-level fleet, launched a fatal strike from the main formation of an Elephant-level Fleet far stronger than a Group Fleet. This moment brought them a shock no less than seeing a hundred Chuckna youths defiantly charge into the hills populated by the Jiepeng 2nd Armored Division!

Is this the bandit army, this carelessly casual unit?!

A fierce blast of light sweeps across the void; the carrier, under the tense anticipation of the people, finally explodes. Even though the result was long known, people couldn’t suppress their cheers at the instant of the carrier’s explosion.

”As you can see, today, this army truly reveals itself to us,” Felix’s voice rings out along with the fierce explosion’s light, ”and today, the Chuckna people owe this army a debt. When the Longbow Star System was defended, Admiral Simon Rabinsky tightly embraced Admiral Leraybernadot, unable to express his gratitude with words. And I, having experienced the brutal battle on the Canglang Star, completely understood Admiral Simon’s feelings at that moment.”

The people fell silent; those who had shouted for the bandit army to get out of Chuckna felt ashamed. Without needing profound military knowledge, they could understand the significance of the Longbow Star System to this nation.

Even facing only Mikami Yuto’s three Super Fleets and Suss’s eight A-level fleets, Resk fought so fiercely. If Hanfrey’s two Elephant-level Fleets and the Desic 5th Group Fleet currently blocked outside the Longbow Star System were added, it would not be just Resk suffering under the ravages of war.

The people longed for victory, but no one liked war.

Whenever they thought of those overwhelming steel warships descending, imagined those explosions like hellfire, thought of those demon-like steel mechas, everyone broke out in a cold sweat.

Was it the bandit army that shielded Chuckna from this disaster?!

”The battle in the Longbow Star System ended with the bandit army fleet’s surprise attack on the center group of the Hanfrey Fleet, capturing Hanfrey and forcing the entire fleet to surrender. Currently, the bandit army fleet is guarding the Longbow Star System. Not long ago, Admiral Leraysai commanded the forces to raid the Western Alliance’s garrison in the Leray Bermuda Star System, forcing the Western Alliance Army to retreat to the Leray Central Star System.”

”And on the day the battle in the Longbow Star System concluded,” Felix reappeared on the screen, holding a report, standing beside the studio’s large virtual screen, ”General Tian Xingjian, at the request of the Allied Supreme Command and Admiral Rabinowski, led a small unit to Canglang Star to rescue our Chuckna 13th Armored Division and 51st Infantry Division, as well as our Marshal Li Cunxin.”

As he spoke, Felix gently tapped the virtual screen, and an image appeared.

Gunfire sounds erupted violently in viewers’ ears at the first moment the image appeared. Before their eyes is a position covered in artillery fire, Chuckna warriors and Jiepeng soldiers already slaughtering each other on the battlefield. Soldiers on both sides shoot at each other, bullets and shells flying, explosions occurring one after another.

The Jiepeng people have already invaded the position, holding an overwhelming numerical advantage; the melee between both parties has begun.
