Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1392: Chapter 103: Fatty’s Plan

The appearance of the Miniature Mecha directly announced the end of the Mechanical Trial Meeting.

When the crowd rushed out of the observation room, Barbara led a group of somewhat reluctant scientists and several high-ranking officials from weapons manufacturers, whose faces were solemn and eyes flickering, silently leaving.

This was a war without smoke, with the bandit army achieving total victory.

This outcome surprised everyone, including Barbara herself. Even though she still had many cards up her sleeve, even if she couldn’t technically overwhelm the bandit army, at least she could entice the generals of various countries economically, logistically, politically, and monetarily. However, she could only accept this result.

Barbara understood well that the most threatening cards are those yet to be played. When the other side’s pressure is as heavy as Mount Tai, going all-in not only won’t change the outcome but rather will result in a more tragic loss.

In the face of the awe-inspiring Miniature Mecha, any promise seemed so pale!

Miniature Mecha.......

The people walking out of the trial hall had varied expressions.

Barbara maintained a calm and indifferent exterior, while the exchanged glances of the two twin sisters behind her couldn’t conceal their shock.

The scientists following behind almost turned back every few steps, wishing they could rush back into the trial hall for a clearer look. Meanwhile, the high-ranking officials from major super enterprises walked with heavy steps and avoided eye contact with their peers as they pulled out their mobile phones upon exiting the hall.

The small black figure like lightning remained unforgettable in everyone’s minds!

Miniature Mecha had always been the dream of every Mecha Designer of this era.

Creating a small-sized Mecha might not be too difficult, but manufacturing a Miniature Mecha capable of fighting on modern battlefields and preserving the precious life of the Mechanical Warrior at crucial moments was as tough as climbing the sky.

Current miniaturization technologies of various countries can produce Miniature Mechas that, at best, can only be considered Simple Mechas. Besides possessing basic mobility and weak protection of Simple Mechas, their performance cannot compare to that of Single Soldier Mechas. Not to mention fighting with Single Soldier Mechas, even a few sweeps by infantry’s portable energy machine gun would turn them into scrap metal.

Moreover, true experts understand that the most crucial technology for Miniature Mechas doesn’t lie in mechanical miniaturization but in the integration of mechanical structure between Miniature Mechas and Single Soldier Mechas.

Embedding Miniature Mechas within the compact frame of Single Soldier Mechas, typically controlled at about seven meters high, isn’t simply like putting a box within a box. It involves not just partial miniaturization but a complete reconstruction of the system and Mecha technology.

Mecha has ten major systems: power, transmission, drive, defense, long-range attack, electronic perception and attack, electronic assistance, balance, energy, and control.

Normally, these ten systems exist as only one set in a Mecha. Only in certain specific systems will there be backup or auxiliary systems.

However, a Single Soldier Mecha equipped with an internal Miniature Mecha needs to have two complete sets of systems!

These two sets of systems exist separately within the Miniature Mecha and the Single Soldier Mecha.

When the Miniature Mecha is not activated, it is a part of the Single Soldier Mecha’s body and functions, its ten systems integrating closely with those of the Single Soldier Mecha, inseparable and collaborative. But when it activates, it must instantly transform into an independent body, with its systems able to operate independently.

Though said to be two sets, in fact, it’s one set; calling it one set, it is convincingly two sets..... The technology needed here certainly can’t be summarized merely by miniaturization!

Perhaps due to being too lost in thought, several scientists and enterprise high officials stumbled due to their inattentiveness to the steps while exiting the training center building. This small incident made the atmosphere even heavier for the originally silent group. A glance among everyone revealed mutual defensiveness and distraction in their eyes.

”The bandit army isn’t unified,” Barbara calmly said to everyone before getting into the Flying Car, ”He shouldn’t reveal so many treasures. A man’s guilt lies in his possession of a precious object.”

The midday sunlight filtered through the gaps in the branches, casting mottled shadows on the ground. Barbara’s convoy started up silently.

Watching the half-open car window slowly rise, carrying the thoughtful phoenix eyes inside gradually away, everyone mulled over Barbara’s last words, then looked back at the empty, silent entrance hall of the training center, suddenly hesitating.

Everyone here knows Barbara’s methods, but no matter how ruthless her methods are, she’s still facing the domineering bandit army!

That Fatty cursed Leefer so badly. His subordinates fiercely beat the entire 31st Army, causing Fasetswen to lose face, stirring up an uproar within the Fei Alliance. Such a group of bandits would burn incense if they don’t grab other people’s treasures; who could pull teeth from a tiger’s mouth or dig soil from the head of Mount Tai?

Several high-ranking officials already started regretting. If they had been more decisive initially, perhaps now standing delightedly in the trial hall wouldn’t have been that damn Robinson from the Meteor Company but themselves!

Quickly jumping into their respective Flying Cars, they dialed their phones.

What they need to do now is to inform the board and urgently discuss countermeasures.
