Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1386: Chapter 100: Counterattack_3

”This type of propeller is called the Hummingbird,” Helen introduced with a smile, inserting an electronic folder into the data center computer slot and tapping lightly on the virtual keyboard to bring up the various performance parameters of the Hummingbird propeller for everyone to see.

Upon seeing the performance parameters of the Hummingbird propeller, the scene erupted in amazement once again.

”Alright,” Fatty pompously waved his hand, ”let’s continue to the next demonstration. I’ll show you a little magic trick.”

Just as Fatty finished speaking, people suddenly noticed that the Ranger, which was originally hovering outside the transparent glass wall of the observation room, had suddenly vanished. If it weren’t for the two blue streaks from the propeller at the Mecha’s tail still lingering in mid-air, still flickering in people’s vision, one might almost believe the Ranger had vanished into thin air.

Inside the observation room, there was dead silence. The white lights illuminated this massive hollow glass ball vividly. The specially manufactured shadowless wall, under the illumination of shadowless lamps, reflected the silhouette of each dumbfounded figure.

”This is a little gadget...” With a sidelong glance at the focused and tense Barbara, Fatty said nonchalantly, ”real-time changing stealth coating.”

”Our shadows...” A scientist stammered, pointing at the glass wall.

”Yes.” Fatty smiled and blew a smoke ring, using a laser pointer to shine outside. The red laser, upon penetrating the glass, was obstructed by an invisible wall in the void. The reflection of shadows on the glass wall gradually twisted, faded, and eventually disappeared. The Ranger, turning azure, reappeared.

”Using the Mecha’s camera lens to conduct a 360-degree all-around capture of the surrounding environment and utilizing the computer to rearrange the molecular composition of the Mecha’s external coating, simulating the effect of invisibility. This technique is quite useful in actual combat.” Fatty smiled warmly and said, ”This technology can be applied to battleships, and soon we plan to auction it off.”

”Auction?!” Like a stone stirring up a thousand waves, the observation room instantly boiled over.

Stealth technology has always been a key research area for various countries. If it can be bought, even at an immense cost, it is worth it. The legendary tale that the Bandit Army Fleet inexplicably approached the tightly defended command cluster of the Hanfrey Fleet and ultimately captured Hanfrey in a battle made everyone suspect that the Bandit Army possessed stealth technology. Unexpectedly, Fatty showed it so generously.

”Admiral Feng Zhi,” Helen smiled as she approached Feng Zhi, handing over an electronic folder: ”This is all the information on stealth technology, as a token of gratitude from the Bandit Army for Chuckna’s strong support, General Tian has decided to present this to you.”

Feng Zhi dumbfoundedly accepted the folder, while Helen moved to Tatania Admiral Schutzman: ”Admiral Schutzman, this is for you.”

”Admiral Hurst, I hope this technology helps the warriors of the Puditok Federation.”

”Admiral Houseni, thank you for your steadfast support of the Bandit Army...”

With each step Helen took, the eyes of everyone present seemed to motionlessly follow, while Barbara, Feiyang Scientists, and several national leaders inclined towards the Leefer Group grew increasingly sour-faced.

”Next, we should discuss the transmission system,” Fatty pulled out a folder and opened it on the central computer. The virtual screen immediately displayed hundreds of blueprints.

”I’ve heard that in the realm of transmission systems, Meteor Company’s technology stands alone?” Fatty asked a gray-haired Feiyang scientist beside Barbara: ”Professor Ruteler, perhaps the composite thirty-two-point multi-node transmission system would greatly interest Mr. Matt, the owner of Meteor Company.”

Ruteler’s face changed, ignoring Barbara’s expression, and dashed toward Fatty.

The development of Mecha transmission systems has now entered the multi-node era. The more points the transmission system’s connecting rods have on the composite power connector, the less energy loss there is, and the greater the instantaneous explosive force. When attacked, the likelihood of complete destruction is also minimized.

The Thunderbolt Mecha uses a twelve-point multi-node transmission.

Originally, Ruteler, holding only eight-point transmission technology as Meteor Company’s chief technical advisor, forced a breakthrough with parallel transmission technology to add a four-point transmission without achieving a sixteen-point transmission. Although this greatly increased transmission capabilities, compared to true sixteen-point transmission, it remains a transitional product.

Meteor Company, as the third largest armament dealer, primarily focuses on combat vessels and Space Fighters, while the Mechanical Department pales next to Martin Company and Vaughn Company. Ruteler’s status is not as high as the chief technical advisors at the Mecha Departments of these two companies. Because of his mild disposition and because Meteor’s executives are not keen on deep involvement with the Leefer Group, Ruteler and the two Meteor executives nearly remain silent in the conflict between Barbara and Fatty.

Now, with hundreds of Mecha transmission system blueprints being displayed by Fatty and the mention of thirty-two-point multi-node transmission, Ruteler, who has spent a lifetime studying transmission systems, has completely forgotten his environment.

Composite thirty-two-point multi-node transmission.

Just the name alone left him unable to remain calm.

Several scientists aiming to approach were blocked by the bandit soldiers and Helen. They could only resentfully watch as Ruteler examined each blueprint under Fatty’s explanation.

Moments later, Ruteler’s face changed completely.
