Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1393: Chapter 103: Fatty’s Scheme (Part 2)

If there’s no good solution, you can be sure that the orders for Thunderbolt Mecha won’t involve us anymore. Compared to the mechas supported by the bandit army’s new technology, Thunderbolt now is simply garbage!

Oh God, Miniature Mecha!

***********************************************************************************

”Masterpiece....” Haifer murmured, mesmerized as he gazed at the black miniature mecha.

The two-meter-tall miniature mecha stood quietly before everyone. Its slender black body, under the white light, looked dreamlike and illusory. Like a drawn long blade, it emanated an awe-inspiring intensity.

Around the mecha, there was a crowd full of people. Like Haifer, generals and scientists from various countries were also in a daze, enchanted and captivated.

The sudden appearance of the miniature mecha left everyone present completely stunned. At this moment, no one paid any attention to Barbara and others. Not even when these people left did anyone notice. All focus was concentrated on the miniature mecha. Occasionally, glances towards the bandit army members were filled only with respect and envy.

Focused under all these various gazes, Blatt, Fei Ouwen, and others momentarily lost their composure, feeling disoriented and elated, as if among the clouds.

Through the four years of the War of National Defense, Leray was already riddled with wounds. Although Leray’s resilience earned the respect of various nations, militarily, the current Leray Federation Army is not even comparable to some small countries.

In the Allied Command Center’s direct troops, the Leray Forces only have two B-grade fleets and four armored divisions. In the Atlantis Star Domain, Leray has only a few remaining fleets, combined with the army’s armored divisions and mechanical infantry divisions, totaling no more than thirty. Not to mention offense, even defense is barely managed.

And all of this was just established and restored through the Fei Alliance’s assistance after Hamilton’s suicide.

Within the Fei Alliance Allies, even though Blatt is an Admiral, he speaks with less confidence than an ordinary small country’s Vice Admiral. Respect is an attitude, and merely an attitude. Only by sitting in the military joint meeting can one truly feel Leray’s powerlessness and understand that without strength, Leray has lost its voice.

The future of Leray seems to be in the hands of these allied nations. Because they still have armies. In wartime, armies are everything.

Therefore, when Fatty rallied the bandit army on Mars, when Hamilton desperately maintained the Hidden Blade Fleet meeting with the bandit army, Blatt and others said nothing and abandoned their ranks, positions, and honors to join the bandit army as ordinary retired military officers. Although this army is still very weak, it is already the last hope of all Leray.

Toward the bandit army, Blatt and others felt conflicted and anxious in their hearts.

This war, which has engulfed all humanity, has consumed numerous powerful regular armies. The future still holds unknown powerful enemies.... Suss, Jiepeng, Desic, these were enemies even Leray at its peak would avoid, not to mention the gigantic Binart Empire.

Yet the bandit army is ultimately just a militia, a force recently combined together.

Even though this force includes tens of thousands of Mars advanced mech knights and awe-inspiring mechanical gods, any could be experts in mecha close combat trained from childhood. But they are not soldiers. In future wars, such a force’s intimidation far exceeds its combat effectiveness.

This is the true sentiment of Blatt and others.

They never dreamed that Fatty held such treasures in his hands.

Previously, the new technologies introduced by Fatty had already stunned them like explosives, and as the final miniature mecha appeared and Barbara and others departed in dismay, their hearts only beat faster.

This is a victory. Compared with Canglang Star, compared with the Longbow Star System, it is an equally remarkable victory.

If the previous campaigns experienced by the bandit army made others regard this force’s combat power with new eyes, let it grow and expand continuously in battle, then today’s battle not only announced the strong alliance of Hastings and the bandit army but also firmly controlled the production of Twelfth Generation Mecha.

Just by looking at the scientists and generals from various countries around, one can understand how intense the shock brought by all this is, what choices they will undoubtedly make when facing mechas produced by several super enterprises and those supported by bandit army technology in the future.

This is strength, this is influence!

The almost collapsed and exhausted Leray Federation, at this moment, pushed open a door leading to the future.

Standing in the crowd, seeing the black mecha in front, Blatt and Fei Ouwen exchanged glances, suddenly filled with inescapable boiling passion, their eyes welling up.

Outside the crowd, Fatty was happily chatting and laughing with several generals.

They couldn’t imagine, drifting through the Free World on a destroyer, what hardships and struggles this Fatty adored by all Leray people endured for today’s achievements.

What kept him going until now, what made him persevere..... just for that dream originally so remote, yet now increasingly clearer!

”General Tian,” observing the passionate crowd before him, Feng Zhi sighed quietly, ”these few bombs of yours have quite the impact.”
