Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1381: Chapter 99: Heart Palpitations (Part 2)

In the midst of the praises, many generals turned to look at Fatty and the bandit army officer beside him.

The entire ten armored divisions equipped with Thunderbolt.... Just the thought of the power the bandit army was about to acquire, a surge of jealousy rose in everyone’s hearts.

Seeing the amazed expressions on everyone’s faces, several Feiyang scientists exchanged smiles. Without their technological accumulation and that of the super enterprises behind them as a foundation, this Mecha would have never been completed. Although scientists from other countries had also contributed significantly and provided valuable assistance in many key areas of Mecha design, this Mecha was undeniably a Feiyang Mecha.

In other words, without these Feiyang arms enterprises, no other country could complete the production, manufacturing, and subsequent upgrades!

”As you can see,” a Feiyang mechanic named Parson stood in the center of the observation room at the data platform, smiling as he introduced, ”Standing in the center of the testing hall is the protagonist of our Mechanical Trial Meeting, the Feiyang Twelfth Generation Thunderbolt Mecha. An almost perfect masterpiece.”

Suddenly, applause thundered.

Everyone’s emotions were completely stirred by Parson’s words.

In modern warfare, victory is determined not only by strategies and tactics but also by economics and technology. When the Binart Empire’s Twelfth Generation Mecha launched full-scale attacks, leaving Feiyang without a counter-strategy on the battlefields of various countries in the universe, the emergence of Thunderbolt was undoubtedly a shot in the arm for the countries of the Fei Alliance. It meant that Feiyang finally had the means to strategically balance against its opponents.

For a campaign, a country, and millions of lives, the significance of the Twelfth Generation Thunderbolt is extremely significant.

Many people couldn’t help but turn to look at the bandit army mecha pilots behind Fatty. The scene where the bandit army rode ten Thunderbolts to gallop unhindered among millions of enemy troops in the Canglang Star battle seemed to be right before their eyes.

”Costing hundreds of billions of Feiyuan, over 800 top scientists from different countries participated in the research and development, taking nearly a year,” Parson activated the data platform screen, looking transfixed at the slowly presented three-dimensional panoramic image of the white Thunderbolt in the observation room center, with a touch of obsession murmured: ”We finally have her, and I believe, she will bring more than just victory to the Fei Alliance!”

After a moment of silence, Parson’s fingers gently tapped on the virtual keyboard of the central data platform, sending instructions to the data center of the testing hall.

”The Mecha test begins.”

————————————

Under the control of a Level 9 Mech Knight, the White Mecha began a series of near-rigorous tests.

Long-distance attack, start speed, instant acceleration, extreme speed, energy shield strength, armor strength, maximum load of metal structure, engine power limit output, control response speed, mechanical computer anti-interference test, electronic system comprehensive test..... As each piece of data froze on the screen of the central data platform, everyone present couldn’t help but open their mouths wide.

Especially the generals from various countries seeing Thunderbolt for the first time, their eyes were almost popping out.

The most intuitive was a data comparison chart.

The values of Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh Generation Mechas formed several differently colored wavy lines, arranged at the bottom of the chart. Every data point of the Twelfth Generation Thunderbolt was represented by a striking red line, towering high above.

In the end, whenever an incredible data point appeared, applause would involuntarily burst out in the observation room. For these soldiers who dedicated their entire lives to this war, the excitement brought by Thunderbolt was utterly uncontrollable.

When the last test stopped, and the data collection devices swirling around the hall returned, the central computer of the data center began calculating the comprehensive combat capability according to the predetermined program, the observation room was already full of excitement and agitation. Everyone was anxiously awaiting the final emergence of data. Actually, it was already unnecessary. Just by looking at the glaring red line, everyone could know that Thunderbolt already had an overwhelming advantage over the Eleventh Generation Long Sword, entirely meeting the standards of the Twelfth Generation Mecha!

”Really astonishing,” Barbara said with a smile to Fatty, ”General Tian, the trash you mentioned earlier, wouldn’t happen to be this Mecha, right?”

Barbara’s voice, like a long blade, cleaved the joyful atmosphere in the observation room.

People who were busy discussing froze as if captured by a time seal, dumbstruck as they stared at Barbara and Fatty. Only then did they suddenly recall the true theme of this trial meeting.

”Not this Mecha,” Fatty responded with a silly smile, meeting Barbara’s gaze, ”I was referring to this Mecha’s engine power system, control system, and transmission system. Now, I still maintain the same view; these systems are simply trash.”

Fatty’s deliberate repetition was like pouring a ladle of cold water into a pot of boiling oil. In an instant, the indignant Feiyang scientists were seething with emotion.

Barbara lowered her eyelids, clasped her hands in front of her abdomen, gently toying with a black ring on her little finger.

Fatty’s counterattack was within her expectations. If Hastings and the bandit army did not have a trump card, that would truly surprise her. Over the years, she had always tried to uncover Hastings’ deepest secrets, and now, perhaps this was an opportunity.
