Counterfeit Hero

To be honest, when he saw the mech knight named Cosmo shoulder ram that Purple Lightning Lifting out of the way, he wanted nothing more than to rush up and give that mecha a big kiss. Later, after watching that Purple Lightning Lifting in a fierce battle with several Bandit Army Mechas, he felt even more grateful to have these Bandit Army mech knights there.

Otherwise, this one mecha, even if it couldn’t wipe out his entire armored company, could certainly leave them beaten and battered. Trying to stop him from taking action against Carolina and the others, or preventing him from leaving, would be absolutely impossible. If he managed to break out of this venue, not to mention one 107 Armored Division, even ten divisions wouldn’t be able to catch him on this colossal planet.

In the armored forces, everyone knows, and has seen, how powerful a Level 9 Mecha Warrior is.

This battalion commander had once witnessed a Feiyang Ninth-level Mecha Warrior, during a jungle exercise, infiltrate the core area guarded by the enemy’s regiment alone and take down their command center. And the people before him had already surpassed the level of the near-mythical Level 9 Mecha Warriors in the forces. What such people might come up with, the poor battalion commander couldn’t even begin to imagine.

Upon receiving orders from Margaret, the battalion commander really wanted to smash this woman’s head with a hammer, making her see stars.

After all, that Leray fatty is still an Ally and has just saved Carolina’s life. He also took down that Purple Mecha. Ordering to stop him, asking him to hand over his spoils of war, what’s that supposed to be? Not to mention, there are Chuckna people and Mars people all around watching closely, even if they were all Feiyang people, could they stop these top Mecha Warriors?!

However, no matter what, orders must be executed.

The battalion commander just hoped the few Bandit Army soldiers wouldn’t care about that broken mecha and would leave it behind.

However, things often turn out against one’s wish.

Looking at the Feiyang Mechas surrounding him with full vigilance like facing a great enemy, Fatty smiled and said, ”We’re all Allies, saving your General Carolina was just a small effort, no need to surround and thank me so warmly!”

With Fatty’s retort, if the Feiyang soldiers weren’t hiding in the Mecha cockpits, they would have dug a hole and buried themselves immediately. Though their formation hadn’t dispersed yet, several mecha’s energy cannon mouths had already lowered. One by one, they turned to look at their battalion commander.

The battalion commander had a livid face, said nothing, just stared at Margaret with his eyes.

The audience in the stands all noticed something wrong, when they saw the Feiyang soldiers had actually encircled the Bandit Army, there was an immediate uproar.

Margaret never thought she would do something so ungrateful. However....... she bit her lip tight; she must get this mecha!

”General Tian!” Margaret raised her head, her gaze piercing through the mecha cockpit, looking at Fatty inside: ”This mecha is too important to Fei Alliance and to the whole war situation. I hope you can hand it over to me. I assure you, everything you give today will get the most generous rewards.......”

”What if I don’t?!” Fatty interrupted Margaret.

”I hope you understand my determination!” Margaret’s face, charming enough to turn the world upside down, was extremely resolute. She stared into Fatty’s eyes: ”Whether it’s rewarding you or turning hostile to seize it hard, I will spare no cost! I just hope you can assess the situation clearly! Now, my 107 Armored Division should be arriving shortly, even if you break out, you can’t leave this planet. And for this mecha, I will do whatever it takes—even if it’s facing opprobrium, even if blood flows like rivers!”

Margaret’s words left everyone stunned.

Looking at Margaret’s face, everyone understood, she wasn’t joking. In a moment heaven, in a moment hell. The situation seemed beyond Fatty’s choice.

”Idiot!”

The Feiyang soldiers hadn’t come to their senses yet, just saw the Green Mecha, suddenly grab the completely unprepared Margaret and shook her hard......

Fatty looked amazed: ”Negotiating with me, why stand so close?!”
