Counterfeit Hero

However, the strange mechas of the Binart Empire have already appeared in the war and participated in battle. The intervention in the battle between Ryan and the Naga Federation was the largest scale involvement. According to the intelligence Margaret has received, these mechas have been frequently appearing in various combat zones within human society recently. Sometimes one, sometimes three to five.

From the intelligence and the actual combat usage of these mechas by the opponent, it seems they are undergoing final testing.

This is definitely a mecha that has completely disrupted the balance of war.

A squad of ten mechas can charge through an armored division’s formation and emerge victorious, which the Feiyang scientists find absolutely inconceivable.

The successful development of Feiyang’s Twelfth Generation Mechas is still far off, and equipping them for combat is something they dare not even dream of. During this period, if such mechas from the Binart Empire were to be deployed in groups and divisions for combat, it would be an absolute disaster for the Fei Alliance.

Due to the inability to capture them, the Feiyang scientists can only analyze the footage from the battlefield.

The results of the analysis shocked everyone.

In terms of performance, the opponent’s mechas have in some aspects completely surpassed the standards of the Twelfth Generation Mechas, but in certain very important areas, they are found lacking compared to Feiyang’s Eleventh Generation Mechas.

For example, the mecha’s engine power, long-range attack capabilities, electronic interference and anti-interference sections, and energy shield defense system... In these systems, the Binart Empire’s mechas do not exhibit strong capabilities, aligning with Feiyang’s estimates of the Binart Empire’s technological reserves. Their strong point appears to be the mecha’s close combat performance.

This seems somewhat implausible. How could the Twelfth Generation Mecha’s technological reserves have such a severe bias?

The final research results unveiled the truth.

It was discovered that in terms of weaponry, engines, and other systems, Feiyang’s Eleventh Generation Mechas are not inferior to the opponent’s. Even those maneuvers executed by the opponent during battle can theoretically be accomplished by Feiyang Mechas. However, once the factor of soldier control is introduced, the mecha’s performance cannot be fully utilized.

The gap lies here.

This indicates one issue. Either the Binart Empire’s control system is so advanced it has left Feiyang far behind, or their operators are all top-notch experts!

For thousands of years, in human warfare, mechas have evolved from tank-like armored vehicles to their current state, primarily using long-range attack methods. On the battlefield, armored divisions would exchange fire from a distance, with various energy cannons, shields, and fire control systems as the main means of competition.

Due to the significant improvement in mecha mobility and long-range defense capabilities, the shift to close combat has occurred only in the last two years. Where did the Binart Empire find these experts?

When this question arose, people first thought of the Five Great Free Ports!

They are the sanctuaries for mecha close combat.

A vast number of intelligence officers were dispatched, but the information gathered did not align with the appearance of these mechas from the Binart Empire. There were no significant changes among the mechs in the Five Great Free Ports. The Binart Empire’s mecha knights were not sourced from the Five Great Free Ports.

The answer was disappointing, but the war must continue.

Improving soldiers’ close combat control abilities and enhancing the mecha control system became tasks placed before the Supreme Command of the Fei Alliance Joint Army.

People don’t know how many of such mechas the Binart Empire possesses, but reality has shown that relying solely on the training within the mechanical control standards is obviously insufficient to resist the Binart mechas.

The current military is filled with a large number of Level 5 and below mecha warriors. Level 5 was considered a high level in the past, but when facing the opponent, it stands no chance.

Through calculations, Feiyang scientists suggest that until the Binart Empire’s mecha control system is acquired, or a system to counter the opponent is developed, the most practical approach is to gather a large number of Level 6 and Level 7 mech knights. Only by doing so can they at least occupy an advantage in numbers to contend with the opponent.

However, including the Feiyang Republic, no country possesses so many advanced mecha warriors.

It can be imagined how shocked and excited Margaret must have been after witnessing Fatty’s performance in the Sky-Filling Fire and observing the bandit army’s young mech knight’s deific battle.

Margaret did not fall in love with Fatty.

Even though this Fatty helped her defeat the SM01314, she did not intend to offer herself.

She kept herself pure and dreamed the same romantic dreams that every girl has about Prince Charming. She has had many imaginations and expectations for her future lover. Of course, none of it related to the Fatty in front of her. Although she had no strict requirements regarding her future partner’s appearance or physique, she never thought she would marry someone like this Fatty.

All these decisions were made at the moment Kirburn was decisively killed. A few days ago, Kirburn had even given her two lessons. About mechanical control.

Regarding this Level 1 Mecha Knight who held a top position on the Mars mecha knights leaderboard for over a decade, Margaret had some understanding. Although she did not like his utilitarian nature, she had to admit his prowess in mecha fighting.
