Counterfeit Hero

The moment the ring finger stood up, it bent down gently.

In the No. 2 fighting arena, Long Tai and Joseph, blue and black Mecha, were entangled in a rapid fight.

Their light shadows, like two spinning fighting birds, touched and separated, merged and split. The unending clash of metal, ceaseless and continuous, resounded nonstop.

Fatty’s index finger bent down. Still pointing arrogantly at Carolina and Cheng Zhixuan was a bold middle finger.

The Ranger piloted by Long Tai suddenly changed its tactics after a swift backward maneuver. The Mingxin Sect’s graceful and prolonged style seemed to spontaneously return to him at this moment.

Facing Joseph’s storm-like attacks, the Ranger squatted halfway down. With its chubby body moving in an arc underfoot, its steel arms became supple as cotton with simultaneous joint movements, turning both palms, drawing several seemingly slow yet swift circles, already enmeshed the Giant Warrior’s swinging fists inside.

Amidst fierce heartbeats and rapid breathing, hundreds of thousands of people simultaneously saw Fatty’s middle finger bend down.

With a chain of metallic folding sounds bursting forth, inside the No. 2 fighting arena, the once ferocious Giant Warrior’s stout arms were already entwined by Ranger’s arms, and as Ranger’s arms shook, the much stouter and solid arms of the Giant Warrior shattered inch by inch, like bamboo poles stuffed into a shredder.

The audience only saw the Ranger gently push the massive body of the Giant Warrior backward, leap up, reverse spin, and a lightning-fast leg kick shattered the cockpit of the Giant Warrior.

The Raging Stream Sect Master, Level 1 Mecha Commander Joseph, was slain!

This is Fatty’s second countdown!

In a deathly silence, Fatty’s three fingers extended again on the balcony of private box number nine.

No one could articulate the shock those three fingers brought.

Hundreds of thousands of spectators could only feel a surge of electricity crawling from the soles of their feet up their spines to their scalps, forcing them to focus on the No. 3 fighting arena.

The red Sky Flag, struggling left and right under the fierce assault of the green Ranger.

Nakagawa Daiki’s hand speed had increased to sixty moves per second. Yet, the opponent’s attacks were continuous, one after another, at a pace nearly matching his own.

He couldn’t comprehend how a second-level Mecha Knight from the Black Dragon Sect could push him into such a dire situation. Ever since the infantry executed that move, ”Long Xiao,” he had been on the defensive. A second-level Mecha Knight, executing a War God level move unseen for forty years... how does this even connect?!

Following a colossal sound and a slew of exclamations, the arena returned to silence. Through the cracks in the partition wall, Nakagawa Daiki could see the fallen Black Knight. He did not know exactly what happened, only that the infantry’s movements were increasingly swift and aggressive. If he were to relax for a moment, he would be the next to fall.

Standing on the balcony of box number one, Carolina watched intently as Fatty’s ring finger bent down. Next to her was a dejected Cheng Zhixuan, pale-faced, forehead veins protruding.

They were now the focus of all the gazes led by that middle finger.

The middle finger, just like the previous times, bent down. Carolina could clearly see the mockery in Fatty’s eyes when he looked at her, along with the unspeakable ridicule in the eyes of tens of thousands from all sides.

”Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang...”

The chain of alarming booms from the No. 3 fighting arena plunged Carolina’s heart into the abyss.

Just when the red Sky Flag evaded the green Ranger’s Double Peak Piercing Ears maneuver, double legged the ground, and just began an unceremonious backflip, an invisible force pulled the red Sky Flag down fiercely.

As the engine of the red Mecha roared in struggle, the Ranger traced a green phantom, in a flash reaching in front of the Sky Flag. Amidst the engine’s piercing scream, a shadowy high sidekick struck the Sky Flag’s head, following with a misstep rotation and swept sweep kick at the Sky Flag’s leg joints.

Push kick, knee strike, elbow attack, Tornado Kick. Within the surging green light shadow, the Sky Flag was like a red sandbag. After nineteen heart-stopping explosive sounds, the entire Mecha had become scrap metal.

Blood, flowing from the crevice of the twisted cockpit cover. Tai Sect’s Level 3 Mecha War God, Nakagawa Daiki, rarely met his equal on Mars, yet here he was, suppressed and killed alive, by a second-level Mecha Knight!

Fatty’s fingers extended straight once more.

The bending of each of the three fingers was like a curse.

But, this final opponent is Level 1 War God Kilburn!

In full view, Fatty seemed to sense something amiss, spreading his palms before him, counted for a long time, finally resolutely extended all ten fingers.

Fighting arena number four, not far from Fatty’s box.

Because he had been suppressing Cosmo all along, Kirburn had enough energy to understand what happened.

He saw Hariman fall, saw Nakagawa Daiki fall. Being diagonal to arena number two, he couldn’t see Joseph. However, from the audience’s reactions and Fatty’s three countdowns, he speculated that Joseph’s luck was no better.
