Counterfeit Hero

That’s a Twelfth Generation Mecha from the Binart Empire!

Margaret was 100% certain of her judgment.

She had researched information about this type of mecha countless times and analyzed its combat characteristics numerous times. Despite the mecha having a different exterior, and even though her eyesight wasn’t as good as Fatty’s, when the mecha was finally stripped of its shell and the control cabin was pulled out, she still recognized it.

This type of mecha has one distinct feature, which is that it does not have a cockpit, or rather, it does not have a traditional cockpit!

The Feiyang scientists had long calculated all the external data of this mecha from various video materials. No matter what, they couldn’t figure out how the thin chest of the mecha could accommodate a cockpit. The mechanical computer, control devices, control console, seat... even if these things were minimized and simplified, along with the human body, they would still occupy a certain space. But this mecha, solely based on volume data, presented a challenge to the Feiyang scientists. From that moment, Feiyang began to suspect that the control system of this mecha had undergone a revolutionary change.

Feiyang dreamt of obtaining such a mecha.

When this mecha first appeared on the battlefields of the Ryan Republic and the Naga Federation, Feiyang realized its terrifying power. The desire to get it grew stronger with each appearance.

However, Feiyang never had the opportunity to capture such a mecha anywhere. In the Ryan Republic, one was once destroyed, but in the end, what the scientists got was just a pile of scrap metal. The Binart Empire had put great effort into the self-destruct devices of these mechas.

Margaret never dreamed that, after searching high and low with no results, it would be effortlessly obtained at Mars Free Port, far from the central battlefield. Fatty had actually dismantled one alive. She saw it very clearly: the mecha was completely disarmed without resistance, the critical circuit boards were dismantled, and the control cabin was pulled out. No matter how advanced its self-destruct system was, it couldn’t be activated, making it just an ornament!

This mecha must be kept!

”Passed out?!” Fatty opened the transparent control hatch, dragged the mech knight lying inside, and handed him over to Long Tai.

He turned to look at Margaret, who had already rushed to the entrance of the waiting area and was saying something to the Feiyang security mecha, and Fatty harshly ordered, ”Take both the mecha and the person back. If anyone dares to get in the way, beat them up!”

Seeing Margaret’s hasty manner, Fatty knew that this mecha had also been recognized by the little lady.

He didn’t expect to hide it from the Feiyang people, but he also didn’t intend to give it up. He decided that if anyone dared to snatch it from his hands, he would bite them!

Obtaining this mecha was a stroke of luck for Fatty; he didn’t expect to get a second one in the future. If it weren’t for this mecha having a different exterior, even with the structure scanner of the Ranger, it would be impossible to scan its structure. This time, the scan was only 40% complete, and the rest was deduced by Fatty based on inconsistencies between the combat movements of this mecha and the structure of the Lightning Lifting exterior.

As long as he knew the position of its cockpit, its electronic core, and the engine power core, Fatty could make a move.

In terms of mecha fighting, there might be others in this world stronger than him, but when it came to dismantling mechas, Fatty dared to proudly claim he was the best. This unique skill was his lifeline! Even so, when making a move, Fatty was only 50% sure.

Fortunately, with some guessing and predicting, he hit the jackpot. Such hard-earned results, asking him to hand it over would feel like cutting his flesh.

Just the thought of it made Fatty’s eyes turn green.

Upon receiving Margaret’s orders, seeing the four tattered mechas being carried and dragged away, the commander of the Feiyang armored battalion responsible for the security of this arena match immediately panicked. With a wave of his hand, dozens of Heaven’s Punishment along with over a dozen Divine units instantly surrounded the four bandit army mechas, making it impenetrable. Although in the venue, with tens of thousands of spectators who didn’t have time to leave, he didn’t care. All mechas opened missile launch bays, and the Energy Cannons remained charged, ready to engage at the slightest provocation.

Honestly, this Major, the battalion commander, also didn’t want to fall out with the bandit army.

For this arena match, he led a security team of just an armored company and over a thousand soldiers. This was Mars Front Army’s territory, and no one expected anyone to cause trouble for the Feiyang Army on this planet.

The Seg Convention and Exhibition Center was large, but shrinking the central commercial zone to this main pavilion was just a few roads. As long as the entrances were guarded, no one dared to make trouble. A company with over a hundred mechas could swiftly quell even the largest disturbance or conflict. Therefore, at the start of the competition, he was still sitting in the stands, letting his platoon leader handle the work while he watched the game.

Who would have thought, just as the matches were about to reach the quarterfinals, and when Carolina was already preparing to leave, a madman suddenly launched a daring attack on Box No. 1.

Thinking back to that scene made the Major break out in a cold sweat. If Carolina and Zhang Pengcheng, along with the roomful of Feiyang and Chuckna senior officers, had been wiped out by that mecha, he would probably have had to find a way to survive losing two layers of skin!
