Beneath the Red Dragon

Males born in the clan are sent to other clans by them, and only female werewolf cubs grow up in this clan.

Connected with this is the fact that matters of other werewolf clans don’t draw much attention from this clan, except when the mother wolves fueled by anger wish to find a mate and give birth to offspring.

Of course, besides the twelve main clans, there are many clans split from them, such as the Yalang Clan, once serving the Doma Monarch as the valiant samurai in the Eastern Continent’s Doma Kingdom.

However, other smaller clans still generally cannot escape the influence of the twelve werewolf clans, so the relaxed expression of Dragon Descendant Werewolf Saha became slightly solemn.

Normally, a werewolf calling upon companions only requires leaving a special mark, but leaving symbols representing werewolf clans and having so many clans gathered here signifies a werewolf clan meeting to be held in some deserted place in the Land of Golden.

This means that each werewolf clan leaving their symbol will send at least one werewolf elder or chief, along with a considerable number of werewolf warriors as guards.

Because the timing of a werewolf clan alliance is never fixed, but each time such an alliance is held, the fate of the werewolf race as a whole is decided.

Dragon Descendant Werewolf Saha vaguely felt that perhaps his tribe couldn’t migrate on time due to some resistance from other clans.

”Hehe, whatever these fellows’ purpose is, although my tribe failed in the war, I haven’t become weaker,”

The tail of Werewolf Saha, with silver-white mane, faintly emitted a fiery hue. He gently tapped his wolf claw on the face armor helmet hanging at his waist, creating a thumping sound.

Under the face armor helmet was the Chiliarch waist token hanging at the waist of the Dragon Descendant Werewolf, an emblem of power and strength, forged from divine iron excavated in the Red Dragon’s Nest, also representing Karon’s royal authority granted to this werewolf.

”I hope these fellows haven’t done anything to anger me,” the Dragon Descendant Werewolf, with a mouth longer than a human’s, opened it, and as the military token in his hand slightly lit up, he laughed, revealing thick silver-white fangs.

The Dragon Descendant Werewolf retracted his claws from the waist tag, placing them onto the werewolf clan’s symbol. This clan symbol, containing brief information, would guide nearby werewolf clans.

”Oh, it’s not too far from here, about less than a hundred miles,” the Dragon Descendant Werewolf withdrew his claws, following the guide of the aura from the clan emblem, and walked in the direction afar.

In fact, the wings behind Dragon Descendant Werewolf Saha aren’t just for show, though he seldom uses them. Firstly, few enemies can now force this werewolf to use his wings.

Secondly, due to a psychological reverence for dragons, and werewolves don’t greatly enjoy flying, their inherently superior jumping ability is sufficient to prey on enemies flying at low altitude.

Werewolf Saha once again chose to walk this time, without taking off his imperial guard heavy armor to transform into a wild giant wolf.

Even the broadsword, considered heavy by powerful warriors, was carried by this fellow in one hand, striding through forest paths, following the scent of his kind, deep into the woods.

The scent of fellow werewolves grew stronger and more numerous, evidently clans had arrived one after another, and each clan sent at least one werewolf.

The Dragon Descendant Werewolf continued moving until he distinctly felt strong familiar scents from ahead, a valley encircled by mountains, an excellent temporary resting place for these werewolves.

The Dragon Descendant Werewolf halted, putting on the vertical horn helmet at his waist, letting his two dragon horns protrude from the top, and then lowered his face armor, briskly stepping inside.

The two werewolf warriors guarding the valley entrance sensed that the creature within this heavy armor was of their kind and didn’t stop him but instead stared at the wide wings behind Werewolf Saha with glowing green eyes in the dark and the dragon horns on his head.

Werewolf Saha didn’t mind the odd looks from these two werewolves. Though he can represent another race, his werewolf blood didn’t change, just gained something extra, which is the distinction between dragons transformed by Karon’s domain and those who became Dragon Descendant Species through True Dragon Blood.

No tents or the like were set up in the valley. Although these werewolf clans somewhat belong to civilized races, it is also their habit to sleep in the open air, merely gathering under the protruding cliffs that can shelter rain.

About nearly thirty werewolves gathered under the valley cliffs, some in werewolf form, others in human guise, all bearing the intense werewolf bloodline aura.

Fires burned around, roasting their dinner, wild boars and mountain deer glittering with oil, and the entire valley was suffused with a fragrant aroma of cooked meat.

More than a dozen werewolf warriors patrolled around the valley, though they appeared rather lazy.

In such wilderness forests, few creatures can threaten these powerful werewolf warriors, let alone the werewolf elders and tribal leaders who perfectly control their wild power.
