Beneath the Red Dragon

Green Dragon Antajena began her daily patrols. In this realm, she became the actual ruler, which was also part of Karon’s training regimen for the giant dragons. Each naturally gifted dragon would learn how to become a competent ruler under Karon’s guidance.

Karon observed that Green Dragon Antajena had little sense of the big picture, but the innate cunning of the Green Dragon Species made it suitable for her to learn to become a ruler.

All the small elf tribes of the Greenfield Forest had already relocated their Tree of Life to the Icaria World, to supplement the population and labor force of the Dragon Group Territory.

Most of the large tribes had also relocated, but the Tree of Life left behind by these large elf tribes couldn’t pass through the plane transfer gates and had to remain at their original settlements.

For this reason, Karon assigned thousands of Kobold soldiers to Green Dragon Antajena. These Kobolds thrived and multiplied extremely well in the stable and prosperous environment, and their population had increased more than tenfold in recent years.

However, the task of these Kobold soldiers was to assist Green Dragon Antajena in managing the elf warriors who remained in the Greenfield Forest Plane.

This group of elf warriors were remnants, once part of three elf tribes that had been annihilated, making them suitable for labor exploitation.

Although a decree had been issued in the Dragon Group Territory to allocate labor, it was rare for females to apply for male elves to serve as husbands and labor providers.

This was because there were very few single females in the Dragon Group Territory, and they would quickly attract numerous suitors from within the Dragon Group Territory. In this era, even females were regarded as quite outstanding and diligent workers.

Only the female elves were all taken to settle in the Dragon Group Territory, to contribute to the construction of the Giant Dragon’s domain.

Green Dragon Antajena flew over more than twenty tribes needing inspection, conducting her routine patrol. Along the way, both Kobold soldiers and elves respectfully saluted the Green Dragon in the sky.

Green Dragon Antajena enjoyed this feeling—power and status. Moreover, the Greenfield Forest was a very suitable environment for a Green Dragon to reside in, allowing her to freely remodel the entire forest.

However, despite this, Green Dragon Antajena still longed to return to the Dragon Range, to her own Dragon Nest.

Roar,

Green Dragon Antajena let out a dragon’s roar in the air, soaring towards the high sky in the direction Karon had mentioned, where a floating island, descending from the Star Realm, hovered above the Greenfield Forest.

In these few days, she had already explored the existence of that floating island, situated above the eastern skies of the Greenfield Forest, perpetually shrouded in thick clouds, making it extremely hard to detect.

If not for Green Dragon Antajena’s diligent patrols these past few days to impress Karon, she wouldn’t have discovered this place.

A group of creatures similar to two-legged flying dragons inhabited the floating island. However, these creatures bore multi-colored scale armor and long whiskers used for conscious communication.

Green Dragon Antajena believed that these moderately intelligent creatures might be subdued and brought back to the Dragon Group Territory to establish an aerial knight corps for the Dragon Group Territory.

Presently, the Dragon Group Territory only possessed a land legion, but in the grand strategy of the giant dragons’ conference, the future dragon kingdom needed comprehensive development. An aerial corps would not only enhance combat power but also serve as a vital source of intelligence and information.

With a well-structured aerial corps, at least during warfare, the Dragon Group Territory’s legion would hold an absolute information advantage.

Regarding the importance of battlefield intelligence, Karon’s memories had deeply ingrained this lesson.

Just relying on the flying birds was ineffective for communication; these birds were primarily used for intelligence transmission in the Giant Dragon Territory.

The goblin merchant group leader, Goblin Shanshan, kept flocks of Ravens for company, and every important business development decision would be subjected to permission via correspondence.

As for magic communication methods, they incurred costs, and would only be employed at critically important moments. To goblins, spending money in this manner was akin to a giant dragon’s perspective—you want my life, as if I’d let you have my money too.

Thinking of goblins, Green Dragon Antajena recalled the goblin inventor highly regarded by the giant dragons, Goblin Bang Bang. This fellow was assigned to improve and optimize the Steam Power Core and Magic Power Core, yet in these areas, Goblin Bang Bang still had no breakthroughs.

But in other fields, this goblin achieved unprecedented research successes.

Goblin Bang Bang not only successfully developed a more rationally configured gunpowder but also created a weapon named ’Bang Bang Bang’ by Goblin Bang Bang.

Despite being just fist-sized, this weapon would explode once the fuse it was thrown was ignited, though its power seemed weak in the eyes of the giant dragons.

Goblin Bang Bang used these weapons daily by the River of Gold to blow up fish—the noise was somewhat disruptive, earning many complaints from surrounding villages.

However, Green Dragon Antajena believed that these weapons could be used splendidly in the hands of the aerial knight corps at the right moment. Excessive power isn’t necessary; as long as they could disrupt enemy formations, that would be enough.

It must be said that with these giant dragons, their talent for destruction and devastation was quite exceptional.

Goblin Bang Bang also purchased weapons from the dwarves through merchant group channels—dwarf firearms. The goblins modified and enhanced these dwarf firearms, discarding other advantages to pursue extreme power.
