Beneath the Red Dragon

Karon stood still, the mist gradually dissipating, making it impossible for the forest to conceal the color of the Red Dragon’s scales, his conspicuous body noticed by the arriving Green Dragon Antajena.

Green Dragon Antajena approached and greeted Karon.

Green Dragon has been appointed to manage the Greenfield Forest Plane, an endless forest realm, which is the Green Dragon’s territory, perfectly suitable for Antajena to showcase her abilities.

These immovable Trees of Life also require the presence and management of Guardians, with regular resource harvesting.

Although it seems that Green Dragon Antajena is entrusted with significant responsibilities by Karon, every Giant Dragon in the Dragon Group knows this is a form of exile.

This is the punishment for Green Dragon Antajena for making mistakes; she is away from the center of power, managing this plane for the Dragon Group, hoping to earn their forgiveness through her performance.

Green Dragon Antajena clearly understands this, and although she wields power over an entire small world, she is not very happy.

Yet she knows once Karon makes a decision, he will not change it, so she flutters around Karon every day to please him, hoping to return to the Dragon Group soon.

”What’s the matter, Karon? You seem very serious—is there a problem, my king? Please allow me to share some of your burdens!”

Green Dragon Antajena’s tone became gentle and deliberately ingratiating; for the deceptive and fickle Green Dragon Species, this is merely a trivial trick.

Karon walked forward, his increasingly heavy body leaving distinct footprints on the soft ground, using his wings to push away the Green Dragon incessantly brushing against him.

It’s not that the slender Green Dragon was blocking his path, but he worried about accidentally stepping on and breaking her foot bones.

To accommodate the growth of his body, Karon’s muscles and bone density far exceed the normal level of Giant Dragons; the weight of a Red Dragon of equal length is estimated to be only two-thirds, or even less than his.

Logically, Karon should find flying and moving somewhat difficult and clumsy compared to other Giant Dragons of similar size, requiring more effort and energy.

But thanks to Karon’s increasingly adept Elemental Control and physical abilities, these issues pose no trouble for him at all.

Moreover, the existence of the Heart Energy ability allows him to possess characteristics similar to fulfilling wishes. This capability is universal; as long as Karon does not limit himself, Heart Energy can influence wherever his thoughts reach.

The extent of power just depends on the effort; exerting great force is aligned with the traits of Karon’s current Heart Energy, which serves as evidence of supreme authority.

”I met a kind friend, and his words gave me some insight,” Karon emitted a few words from his throat, in the midst of a voice-changing period, making his voice somewhat peculiar, so he consciously lowered it to appear more stable.

Karon evidently hadn’t noticed, he was enjoying the privileged treatment due to his extraordinary allure surpassing ordinary Giant Dragons; his appearance boasts immense charm in the aesthetic view of most creatures.

Especially for beasts and non-humanoid species, a Red Dragon almost walks as a male Succubus. Katos is a messenger from the Garden of Ten Thousand Beasts, adhering to Beast Village doctrine, typically showing no kindness towards other creatures.

Although Beast Village occupies a neutral and benevolent alignment, it harbors proud and rebellious Souls, only favoring creatures that match its taste.

Without Karon adorned in Red Dragon scales and intensified Red Dragon’s Blood, heading to the Metal Dragon’s territory and raising an arm would attract a large group of female Metal Dragons as mates and admirers.

After all, neither the Five-Color Dragons nor the Metal Dragons generally entertain thoughts of loyalty to just one Dragon; they don’t care how many mates a male Giant Dragon has, only concerned with a male dragon’s power, appearance, and wealth.

Of course, some female Silver Dragons and Gold Dragons hold particularly conservative views, esteeming monogamous relationships.

A joke shared within the Dragon circle perfectly encapsulates this—dragons won’t share anything except their mates.

This is one of the reasons Karon doesn’t have much affection for Green Dragon Antajena; he doesn’t like this situation, yet respects individual choices.

Thus, Karon’s will, although influenced by the gradually maturing body of a dragon, requires more than mere desire to sway him.

”Well, you always think more than us dragons, Karon; maybe sometimes being a simple Five-Color Dragon would bring more joy!”

Green Dragon Antajena tempted, ”My king, as long as you need, I can bring you some insignificant happiness!”

Pushed by Karon’s broad wings, the Green Dragon remained relentless, persistently trying to rub against him.

Although these dragons’ reproductive abilities are still immature, incapable of birthing offspring, their functions remain intact; thus, the Green Dragon’s allure carries a blatant hint.

”Haha, you’re too thin, Antajena, and you’re too childish for me,” Karon wasn’t swayed by the allure in the slightest.

He gently wrapped his wide wings around the Green Dragon’s little head, speaking in a tone filled with brotherly affection for a sisterly figure, ”Antajena, female dragons should have more meat to look good; I permit you to secretly siphon some Spring of Life, hmm, that’s my special privilege! Don’t tell the other dragons!”
