Beneath the Red Dragon

The two-legged flying dragon, with a body length exceeding thirteen meters, is enormous; its head is even bigger than that of the female Red Dragon, Kleyna.

Moreover, these flying dragons lack the ability to control their innate magic power as the Giant Dragons do, so their flight relies more on their wings and other body structures.

With a wingspan reaching twenty-eight meters, this flying dragon has adapted and evolved to ensure its flying ability and aerial maneuverability.

This Flying Dragon Leader also has several whiskers growing under its jaw like a Golden Dragon, but the leader’s whiskers are crystal clear, like transparent tubes, glittering with various colors.

Just now, the Flying Dragon Leader vibrated the whiskers under its jaw, emitting a sound wave similar to synesthesia to communicate with several Giant Dragons.

Unlike the two-legged flying dragons of the Icaria World, the paws of these strange species of flying dragons resemble those of felines, with thick pads.

Thus, even though the body of this Flying Dragon Leader is as large and robust as an average young Giant Dragon, it moves quietly; it could perhaps creep silently upon its prey unless it intentionally makes noise.

”It’s not a problem of your race; it’s us Giant Dragons who find you useful to us, so here we are!”

Standing atop the mountain, Kleyna stretched her long neck forward, her dignified Red Dragon head swinging as she blatantly laid bare her intentions.

The personality of the Red Dragon is vividly embodied in this female Red Dragon.

”Decide quickly, submit or challenge us; I still need to communicate and bond with the Tree of Life,” the Black Dragon Rosani urged impatiently. If this Flying Dragon Leader wasn’t beneficial in controlling the Flying Dragon Tribe, he would have already rolled up his claws and gotten started.

Moreover, now the Giant Dragons in the Dragon Group have learned to cherish resources, thinking of hoarding resources into the group because of Karon’s influence, reflecting the nature of Giant Dragons in another way.

The Giant Dragons in the group have learned to share, not only their own things but also to share others’ possessions.

To these Giant Dragons, the Flying Dragon Tribe is also a resource, rather than creatures with the right to freedom.

The Green Dragon Antajena slightly narrowed her slender eyes, revealing a dangerous gleam. Should the Flying Dragon Leader challenge any Giant Dragon, she would unhesitatingly call upon her companions to swarm forward.

In Antajena’s view, retracting her promises was business as usual, even the young Giant Dragons within the Dragon Group had often been swayed by this Green Dragon.

So it’s not without reason that Green Dragon Antajena was ostracized; she has yet to manage to control the influence of the Evil Dragon Bloodline like her other companions for most of the time.

”My name is Xun Ying, the strongest king and leader among our race; our greatest strength is not our body or any other abilities, but our speed as swift as time itself,”

The Flying Dragon Leader was silent for a long time before suddenly speaking: ”That green fellow, I could have stopped you last time, but prolonged peace has eroded my ferocity,”

”But if you want our race to submit to you, it won’t be that easy, haha,” the Flying Dragon Leader suddenly lifted its head, emitting a peculiar screeching sound from its mouth, the crystal whiskers vibrating at this moment, sending out a strange sound wave affecting the spirit and physical reactions of several Giant Dragons.

The Giant Dragons actually felt their spirits subjected to a sort of dizziness, an unbelievable phenomenon.

Even though these young Giant Dragons have yet to develop immunity to all stun spells, they still possess extremely strong resistance to such negative controlling spells.

Swish, swish, swish,

The next moment, countless flying dragons with dazzling scales roared sharply, their bodies radiating the same flowing light as their scale colors.

They unleashed unimaginable speed, shooting out of their caves like sharp arrows, scattering around the Floating Island.

The leader of the flying dragons, this enormous dragon named Xun Ying, surged with dazzling light, the colorful light flowing through its crystal whiskers.

The magical power of this radiant light caused the Flying Dragon Leader’s body to create afterimages upon climbing the sky, an illusion left by extreme speed.

Swish, this Flying Dragon Leader moved much faster than ordinary flying dragons, the sound it made when cutting through the air was in a series, but unlike Karon, it didn’t cause sonic booms.

The three young Giant Dragons, just returning to their senses, could only see an empty enormous Floating Island and the triumphant laughter of the Flying Dragon Leader.

”Hahaha, you arrogant and conceited Giant Dragons, conquer the air!”

The Flying Dragon Leader Xun Ying laughed heartily, its crystal whiskers vibrating, relaying through this sound wave to connect with its tribe; they will regroup and settle down far away.

But the speed that Xun Ying possessed suddenly allowed it to observe a peculiar creature quietly floating in front of its path, staring at it expressionlessly.

This creature resembled the humanoid forms of those Giant Dragons, the stout dragon horns and stern crimson scale armor made the figure, although only over three meters tall, exude an exceptionally imposing aura.

”Are you also with them? Little one, you can’t stop me,” the Flying Dragon Xun Ying increased its speed a bit more, the flight afterimages chaining like a curtain behind it, turning to fly in another direction.

Yet, not far in front, the peculiar creature remained facing it, silently floating in the air, emotionless.

”Damn, I don’t believe it,” the Flying Dragon Xun Ying accelerated to its limits, the flowing light suffusing its body could even negate the sound of breaking air barriers, turning another direction.

However, the extreme speed was now hardly within its control, and in the next instant, it crashed head-on into the enigmatic creature that appeared ghostly in its flight path.

Bam,

The anticipated scene of shattering the opponent didn’t occur; instead, the Flying Dragon Xun Ying’s head was gently pressed by a crimson claw.

In that instant, the strange creature liberated its form, transforming into a Red Dragon that Xun Ying also felt was the ultimate expression of strength and power.

Boom!

This immensely powerful Red Dragon, pressing Xun Ying’s head down, fell directly to the ground, embedding the Flying Dragon’s head and its long neck deep into the soil, inlaying the entire body of Xun Ying into the pit.

The Flying Dragon Xun Ying felt as though a thousand noisy crows were simultaneously cawing in its head, or as if its head was enveloped in a great bell, countless people surrounding the bell, eager to strike it.

In its dazed eyes, countless flashing golden stars blinked, the pain of the body insignificant in contrast to the intense mental turmoil, or rather, the strongly assaulted mind felt no physical pain.

It didn’t know how long it took for the Flying Dragon Leader to slightly regain its senses, even so, its eyes, still filled with overlapping images, intermittently mistook the Red Dragon before it for the former Flying Dragon Leader who once nurtured it.

And the tribal king who led the race to prosperity, the legendary Flying Dragon faster than the light of the skies.

Thunk, thunk, thunk,

Karon curled his dragon claws, gently tapping on the still-dazed Flying Dragon’s head, to prevent accidentally killing this creature.

Though Karon’s speed is remarkably astonishing, he cannot match this Flying Dragon’s speed; he could effortlessly intercept it due to foresight magic.

This magic was applied mentally, displaying miraculous effects before a master of the Mental Domain.

”You see, this is the world; if you don’t become the hunter, you can only be the prey!”

Karon lightly tapped his claws on the hardened skull of the Flying Dragon Leader Xun Ying, a peculiar rhythm carrying some kind of magical power smoothing Xun Ying’s still dizzy and disorganized mental state, allowing the words of this Red Dragon to penetrate deeply into its mind.

”So, do you want to become my hunter?” Karon’s massive tusks flashed cold and fierce light, as he gently said: ”Of course, this is not a choice for you, but a notification from me. A blessing notification, or, a death notification!”
