Beneath the Red Dragon

”Go on, when you get there, I’ll appear at the right time,”

Karon habitually curled his flexible body, placing his long tail under his chin, contentedly enjoying the flattery of Pikku Little Elf Riven while instructing Green Dragon Antajena.

He had regained the perception of the Dragon Descendant’s presence, restoring their link, as he flipped through the connected memories of consciousness.

He didn’t even need to leave personally; if Green Dragon encountered trouble, the Dragon Descendant could lend a hand before returning to Karon.

His abilities were hardly a secret from these Giant Dragon companions he spent every day with; there was no need to deliberately hide his power.

And the willingness of these dragons to actively do things for the Dragon Group deserves praise; the inherent chaos and brutal conquest desires in the bloodline of the Five-Color Dragons are innate traits that exist from birth, impossible to eradicate.

Karon merely taught the dragons within the group to control their chaos; he never let these dragons completely reject the influence of their bloodline, because he couldn’t do it either.

Karon was just continually adding to the dragons within the group, letting the influence of more important things outweigh that of their nature.

So, hearing about conquering a group of Flying Dragons, these Young Dragons were eager to try; after all, as they began to mature, they were less inclined to fight constantly as they did in childhood.

Aside from the more composed Bronze Dragon Alina and the Red Copper Dragon Alfred, who was taking on increasingly heavy tasks, even the Blue Dragon Akzhi was proactive in wanting to go with Green Dragon Antajena.

The Five-Color Dragons possess a strong desire for conquest.

Thus, several Giant Dragons started quarreling over who should stay and guard the territory.

Karon felt a bit of a headache; obviously, these dragons hadn’t developed a sense of responsibility related to their tasks, wanting to throw off their duties just to fight.

But if they were relaxed, how could I be relaxed? With this thought, Karon widened his big eyes and grumbled, ”How many Giant Dragons does it take to conquer a group of Flying Dragons? Have you been resting too much? That’s great, Rosani, come here, I have some tasks to give you.”

The other Young Dragons were frightened and quickly scattered, and Blue Dragon Akzhi also quietly flew up into the sky, pretending it was his day to patrol the territory.

Black Dragon Rosani didn’t care about Karon’s threat at all; he shamelessly followed behind Green Dragon Antajena and set off for Greenfield Forest with Kleyna.

This tree-chewing Black Dragon was more interested in the Tree of Life than the wild mares on the prairie, and Karon wasn’t sure if this was good or bad.

After all, with the slightly peculiar aesthetic sense of a dragon, it wouldn’t be surprising if Black Dragon Rosani ended up liking a Tree-man in the future.

Pikku Little Elf Riven was flying back and forth in front of Karon’s forehead, holding ripe grapes trying to please the Red Dragon. These grapes from the newly developed plantations were specifically supplied to the territory’s officials and the Dragon Group for consumption, each grape nearly the size of a fist.

The Elf Druids subordinated to the Dragon Group Territory were dispatched to various places to cultivate excellent fruits and grains for the territory, as well as to raise livestock.

These Elf Druids were quite professional in this regard, and Karon felt that their achievements in this area far outweighed their contributions on the battlefield.

Originally, Riven’s work was handled by those Elf Maids, including maintaining the Giant Dragon’s scales, delivering delicacies, and conveying orders. Now, Karon was beginning to enjoy life more.

Enjoyment was also one of the dragon’s pleasures. To Karon, who has been managing the territory for a while, if there’s no joy at all, being the Dragon Lord isn’t meaningful.

”Karon, Karon,” Pikku Little Elf Riven softly cooed in a coquettish tone after feeding the Red Dragon his twentieth grape, before flying to Karon’s ear.

”Phew, I want to print your image on an Eternal Card, with the power to suppress all Monster Cards. Can you give me a scale?!”

”My image isn’t yet suitable to appear on a card, Riven,” Karon shook his head, refusing the elf’s request,

”But you can consider printing the images of other dragons in the group on the cards,” Karon extended his paw, retracting his claws, and then gently tapped the elf’s forehead with a fingertip.

Little Elf Riven protected her head, adorned with two fresh flowers, ensuring they weren’t accidentally damaged by Karon’s claws. She wrinkled her shiny little nose and said, ”Karon, I think you’re just a tiny bit wiser than me. Let’s study it together!”

Pikku Little Elf’s forehead always bore those two bunches of flowers, whether she wore an acorn hat or a flower crown; it’s Riven’s Dragon Horn, a treasure others couldn’t touch.

Karon infused his power into Riven’s Dragon Horn. After practicing for a long time, Karon finally grasped the marvelous use of Heart Energy.

Should Little Elf Riven encounter danger in the future, she could use her ’Dragon Horn’ to perform a simple Summoning Spell. Its power wasn’t great; it merely summoned Karon.

Karon revealed this exclusive Summoning Magic to the little elf, then patted Riven’s small head with a smile and said, ”Alright, Riven, I’m off to swim in the ocean of knowledge. Take your time with your research!”
