Alchemy Master

Chapter 315, Human Grade

“What are you doing?” The Seventh Princess was confused by Qin Yichen’s actions. This was not the first floor, where in the past two days one could simply find a hiding spot and avoid making too much commotion to get by.

To enter the third floor, one had to fight for the Victor’s Key. There was no two ways about it.

“With my current strength, I don’t have the ability to compete with everyone.” Qin Yichen said with a smile.

Though he was confident, he understood the gap between himself and Li Aofeng and the others.

“Could it be you want to break through?”

A strange light flashed in the Seventh Princess’s eyes. She had personally seen him only at the Partially Accomplished Spirit Realm during the Martial Arts Tournament. Yet, now, he had already broken through to the Fully Accomplished Spirit Realm.

[Is he actually presumptuous enough to think he could break through to Martial King Realm? How is that even possible!?]

“En.” Qin Yichen nodded, then as if remembering something, he added. “Princess, in past, those who entered the Twilight Tower would form alliances to some degree, right?”

“Are you trying to bind me to you?” The Seventh Princess smiled faintly, neither confirming nor denying.

Only one spot was available to enter the third floor, and among contestants who entered the Twilight Tower in the past, few or rather none had ever been able to face off against the other contestants alone.

Therefore, after entering the second floor, those with substantial resources would always try to form alliances with powerful experts to secure their chance of entering the third floor.

Those who could enter the third floor were either from the Royal Family or one of the Four Great Families of Twilight City!

“That’s not my intention. However, Princess should be wary of the other three Martial Kings joining forces.” Qin Yichen said with a faint smile.

“I think you just want me to help you deal with Li Aofeng?” The Seventh Princess smiled charmingly. From Li Aofeng’s previous attitude toward Qin Yichen, she had guessed there must be some conflict between Qin Yichen and the Li Family.

The Li Family’s influence in Twilight City was not weak. She did not want to offend them while her own position was precarious.

“I’m sorry, but I have no interest in getting involved in your affairs. But, if you can make it out alive, our previous agreement still stands.” The Seventh Princess did not hide her thoughts and plainly said.

“Suit yourself. After I break through, Li Aofeng may not be able to do anything to me. However, Princess should know that among those who entered this time, Li Aofeng has the most abundant resources. What do you think of those two Martial Kings we haven’t encountered yet? Could they have already been recruited by Li Aofeng?”

Qin Yichen said with an ambiguous smile. These words made the Seventh Princess fall silent.

Although what Qin Yichen said was just speculation, she clearly understood.

Though she held the position of Seventh Princess, she had always faced ostracism from within the Royal Family. So in terms of wealth and resources, she could not compare to the Li Family at all.

Her main purpose for entering this time was that Royal Seal… if Li Aofeng had truly allied with others, she probably had no hope of entering the third floor.

“You’re quite good at reading the heart of others.” The Seventh Princess’s eyes flickered. She was becoming increasingly curious about this youth.

“If you are willing to wait, I, Qin Yichen, would be more than pleased to form an alliance with you.” Qin Yichen said with a smile. If he could form an alliance with the Seventh Princess here, and she rose to power in the future, it would not be a bad thing for the development of his Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce.

Though there were some risks, opportunities always came with risks.

“Who knows how long you’ll take? If you spend months here, should I just wait for you?”

The Seventh Princess said somewhat unhappily, though her words showed she had clearly softened her stance.

“No more than one day, trust me.” A confident smile curled Qin Yichen’s lips as he entered a secluded small cave.

“You…” Seemingly realising she was being led by the nose, the Seventh Princess felt a flash of embarrassed rage. She looked at his retreating figure, but Qin Yichen did not say anything more.

The Seventh Princess was speechless. She turned her gaze to Lin Tianwei, but he seemed completely uninterested and simply sat cross-legged on the ground, closing his eyes.

“You two whackjobs!” The Seventh Princess helplessly stamped her foot, pondered briefly, and finally could only wait quietly.

…

[God damn it! At least leave some for me!] After entering the cave, Qin Yichen hurriedly took out his Pill Furnace. Looking at the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits that had nearly half their medicinal properties absorbed, his mouth twitched uncontrollably. If he did not refine them quickly, all their medicinal properties would probably all be absorbed by this accursed Pill Furnace.

Qin Yichen began the familiar process of refining, turning the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits into a Pill. Just thinking about the Seven-Coloured Flora Pill excited him.

After half an hour of refining, the Seven-Coloured Flora Pill was finally complete. As soon as the fragrance of the Pill wafted out, Qin Yichen swallowed it in one gulp.

The Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits had already lost half its medicinal properties to the furnace – he couldn’t afford to let any more dissipate now.

After taking the Seven-Coloured Flora Pill, Qin Yichen immediately sat cross-legged. His mind stirred as he activated the Spirit God Technique. A devouring force swept out from his Divine Soul Bead like a black hole, completely absorbing the pure medicinal properties of the Seven-Coloured Flora Pill.

The Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits was originally an ingredient that greatly benefited one’s Spiritual Energy. Although some medicinal properties had been absorbed by the Pill Furnace, the remaining properties, after being refined into a Pill, were still enough to make Qin Yichen’s Spiritual Energy cultivation rapidly advance.

As the pure and vast medicinal properties were absorbed, changes occurred in the Divine Soul Bead within Qin Yichen’s Knowledge Sea. The previously dim Divine Soul Bead burst forth with dazzling colours, and vaguely, a blurry small figure appeared within it.

As time passed, the Spiritual Energy in Qin Yichen’s Divine Soul Bead grew increasingly powerful. Within the Divine Soul Bead, that blurry figure became more and more condensed, eventually forming into an actual ethereal image. This was Qin Yichen’s Spiritual Body.

Condensing a Spiritual Body was the mark of Spiritual Energy crossing into the Martial King Realm!

As this Spiritual Body solidified, the medicinal properties of the Seven-Coloured Flora Pill were finally fully absorbed.

Feeling the surging waves of Spiritual Energy, wild joy welled up in Qin Yichen’s heart. He had finally succeeded in raising his Spiritual Energy to the Martial King Realm.

After condensing a Spiritual Body, His Spiritual Energy cultivation reached a new starting point… Alchemy Master!

A Alchemist whose Spiritual Energy cultivation was in the Martial King Realm was actually classified as a Human Grade Alchemy Master. In short, Human Grade Alchemy Masters were those who had condensed a Spiritual Body within their Divine Soul Bead.

Among Human Grade Alchemy Masters, there were three Minor Realms: Spiritual Initiation, Spiritual Flow, Spiritual Rupture!

The most basic Human Grade Alchemy Master were those who had merely condensed a Spiritual Body. Of course, this was several times more powerful than just Spiritual Energy in the Fully Accomplished Spirit Realm. The Spiritual Body would also allow the Alchemy Master’s control over Spiritual Energy to reach a state of ‘one with Spritual Energy’.

For a Human Grade Alchemy Master to advance further, it required the nourishing of their Spiritual Body. The next point was to reach the Spirit Movement Realm, and finally Spiritual Rupture Realm. To reach the Spiritual Rupture Realm, the Alchemy Master must breaking open their Divine Soul Bead to exist independently within the Knowledge Palace of the Knowledge Sea.

Silavin: Just wanted to note that the Knowledge Palace is actually 泥丸宫, which is technically a point in the skull.
