Alchemy Master

Chapter 308, Sea of Flowers

Translator: Silavin

For the black-robed person, this was truly an undeserved disaster! After all, they had been hiding well in the shadows, when suddenly, an idiot appeared and caused such a commotion that it became difficult to continue hiding.

The inner rage the black-robed person felt was imaginable.

*Swoosh!* After being spotted by the Demonic Beast, the black-robed person could only choose to flee from this place.

“Hey, wait for me!” From behind came Qin Yichen’s voice, making the corner of the black-robed person’s mouth twitch violently.

The black-robed person was already having thoughts of killing Qin Yichen. how could they possibly wait for him!?

However, Qin Yichen seemed determined to follow them, constantly pursuing the black-robed person from behind.

“Do you… want to die?!” Looking at the approaching Qin Yichen, the black-robed person suddenly turned around and spoke to him in an icy tone. How could there be such a shameless person?!

“Brother, what do you mean?” Qin Yichen looked at the black-robed person in confusion, not understanding how he had offended this mysterious person.

However, the black-robed person had no time to argue with him because the Demonic Beasts from the Twilight Tower were gradually catching up from behind.

The path ahead became lively.

Because of the commotion, it attracted more and more Demonic Beasts’ attention. Behind the two of them, it had almost formed a small-scale Beast Tide.

Let alone them, even a Martial King would definitely be overwhelmed.

The two did not dare to stop, choosing a direction and fleeing wildly.

After who knows for how long, they rushed into a place where countless flowers bloomed.

This place was completely different from its surroundings.

In this area, there were no thorns, no thickets, only flowers – all kinds of flowers. At a glance, there were at least hundreds of varieties.

Strangely, after they entered this sea of flowers, those pursuing Demonic Beasts all stopped at the edge, growling at the inside for a few times, then gradually retreated. They showed no intention of continuing the chase.

“Finally shook them off.”

Seeing no more Demonic Beasts pursuing from behind, Qin Yichen could not help but sigh in relief, directly lying down and panting.

They had been chased for several hours, and both were exhausted. Although the black-robed person did not lie down like him, the black-robed person was also bent over with hands on the knees, breathing rapidly.

“Here.” After consuming a Pill himself, Qin Yichen threw one to the black-robed person.

The black-robed person frowned and directly tossed the Pill aside without even looking at Qin Yichen.

After all, if it were not for this bastard, they could have hidden there for at least a day or two.

The black-robed person hiding place had been that Ape Bear’s territory, and they had deliberately injured the Ape Bear so it would not disturb them. But this bastard just had to come and create such a huge disturbance, turning their plans to dust.

“What a waste.” Qin Yichen ran over and picked up the Pill.

This was a Pill he had specially refined for himself, completely incomparable to those sold at the Soaring Joy Chamber of Commerce right now.

In just this short while, he had almost completely recovered, while the black-robed person, though having taken a Pill, was still panting.

The difference in Pills became apparent at this moment.

However, although he had mostly recovered, Qin Yichen had a constant feeling of being watched. [How can that be though. There is nothing around us except for flowers.]

“What kind of place is this exactly?” For some unknown reason, though the surroundings appeared to pose no danger, it made Qin Yichen’s hair stand on end. Cold sweat dripped from his temples as he muttered, “We couldn’t have stumbled into some old monster’s lair… right?”

That group of Demonic Beasts would not have stopped pursuing them for no reason. It could only mean that within this sea of flowers, there was something they feared.

*Rustle!* Just as he was speculating, suddenly, he felt the entire ground move. The whole sea of flowers seemed to come alive. Those originally beautiful flowers revealed their fierce faces to them.

*Swish!* Qin Yichen was caught off guard when a small flower vine whipped across his foot, immediately staining his trouser leg red with blood.

His Physique actually could not defend itself against this vine attack!

Looking at the sea of flowers covering the mountains and plains, Qin Yichen finally knew where that hair-raising feeling came from.

“No wonder they didn’t dare to chase us in here…” Without any hesitation, Yuan Energy swirled out, directly enveloping his body.

On the other side, the black-robed person did the same. The gushing black energy corroded clean any flowers or vines that dared approach the black-robed person. However, the black-robed person breathing became increasingly labored.

“Take this.” Qin Yichen threw another Pill to the black-robed person.

There was no choice. Looking at the current situation, it would be very difficult to break out of this place alone.

Earlier, when being chased by the group of Demonic Beasts, the black-robed person did not know how deep they had gone. Furthermore, but standing here, the black-robed person could not see the edges. In other words, they were lost.

This time, the black-robed person did not refuse his Pill.

After catching the Pill, the black-robed person only hesitated slightly before consuming it.

The black-robed person understood that if Qin Yichen meant harm, it would not benefit him either.

[So cautious.] Seeing the black-robed person’s hesitation, Qin Yichen’s eyes could not help but focus.

He did not know what this black-robed person had experienced, but it must have been some unknown tragic experience.

Fortunately, both of their Yuan Energy was quite special, and in an instant, they cleared an open space.

When the two looked at each other, they were both slightly surprised.

These flowers and vines were not simple. Even if those Demonic Beasts outside rushed in, they would probably only end up as fertilizer. Because whether flowers or vines, they all had one special effect… they almost ignored all defenses.

If it were not for both Qin Yichen and the black-robed person’s Yuan Energy being able to effectively counter these flowers and vines, they probably would not be able to leave this place either.

“There must be something amazing inside.” Seeing that the flowers and vines could not harm him, Qin Yichen no longer had thoughts of leaving.

Obviously, with these things here, nobody would dare to enter.

Which means… this was probably the only place in the Twilight Tower that no one had set foot into.

“How about accompanying me for a trip inside? I’ll provide the Pills!” Qin Yichen said to the black-robed person beside him.

*Hmph!* The black-robed person coldly snorted, obviously very impatient, but their feet did not move.

Though both appeared unharmed now, their Yuan Energy consumption was also enormous.

Perhaps having tasted the benefits of Qin Yichen’s Pills, although the black-robed person did not speak, they obviously wanted to obtain more Pills from him.

*Hehe.* Qin Yichen chuckled, his body enveloped in Yuan Energy as he darted toward the depths.
