Chapter 302, A Deadlock

The referee of platform 10 looked at both, then called out in a deep voice. “Begin!”

“Die!” As soon as the referee’s words fell, Chen Qiqiang roared, his foot stomping hard as he leaped up like a fierce beast. Yuan Energy flickering around his iron fists as he smashed down at Qin Yichen’s head from above.

The sharp sound of wind being torn apart and his Tiger-like ferocity were enough to prove that with this first strike, he had no intention of holding back.

“Oh? You want to compare our raw strength?”

Facing this punch, Qin Yichen inwardly laughed. Under many puzzled gazes, not only did he not retreat, but he stepped forward, his body bending like a drawn bow, Then, suddenly springing back as his arm swung out, throwing an equally fierce punch.

“He wants to clash head-on with Chen Qiqiang!?” Seeing this, many people’s eyes narrowed.

*Bang!* Their fists collided violently under everyone’s watchful eyes.

In that moment, a visible shockwave turned into ripples, spreading out from where their fists met, stirring up countless dust that enveloped both people.

After a moment, the dust slowly dispersed, revealing the two figures within.

“What!? He actually withstood it!?” Countless had their pupils contracted.

On the platform, Qin Yichen stood as if rooted to the ground, his form as immovable as an ancient bell.

It was the Standing Technique.

Chen Qiqiang’s face also showed bewilderment. Clearly, he could not comprehend how this mere Partially Accomplished Spirit Realm kid could withstand his nearly full-power punch. After all, this punch, even without using Yuan Energy, should have been enough to severely injure anyone in the Partially Accomplished Spirit Realm.

*Ha!* Qin Yichen’s arm bent slightly, and as the muscles on his arm trembled, a powerful force surged forth again, sending the bewildered Chen Qiqiang back two steps.

“Hehe, kid, you’re really somewhat beyond my expectations.” Chen Qiqiang rubbed his slightly numb fist, the contempt on his face slowly receding.

“As for you, you’ve disappointed me instead.” Qin Yichen shrugged his shoulders and indifferently said.

“Is that so?” Chen Qiqiang snorted coldly, his foot stomping down so hard the platform seemed to shake. Without any words, astounding Yuan Energy spread out, forming pressure that pressed down towards Qin Yichen like the sky was falling.

“Let’s see how long you can keep talking tough!” Chen Qiqiang’s robes fluttered as he coldly smiled at Qin Yichen, the rage in his eyes surging frantically.

*Haaaa…* Qin Yichen exhaled softly, the smile disappearing from his face. At the same time, a somewhat scorching Yuan Energy fluctuation spread from his body, rushing out to meet the pressuring Yuan Energy.

*Boom!…*

Two mighty streams of Yuan Energy surged on the platform, then clashed and merged, sending out waves of low, rumbling sounds.

Seeing the two truly begin fighting, everyone’s eyes narrowed. Would Chen Qiqiang win with overwhelming force, or would this mere youth deliver a shocking surprise?

In this clash, Chen Qiqiang clearly held the upper hand. No matter what, he was at the Peak Fully Accomplished Spirit Realm, while Qin Yichen was only at the Partially Accomplished Spirit Realm. In terms of Yuan Energy, Qin Yichen was clearly at a disadvantage.

Fortunately, Qin Yichen’s Yuan Energy had some special properties. Otherwise, he would have likely been defeated upon first contact.

“Kid, do you see now? This is the gap between us!” Noticing the difference between their Yuan Energy, Chen Qiqiang sneered.

“Die! Heaven Splitting Palm!” As Chen Qiqiang’s arm swept out, mighty Yuan Energy howled forth, transforming into a palm several meters large.

On this palm, patterns crisscrossed, giving off an oppressive atmosphere. Clearly, this was at least a High Rank Black Grade Martial Technique!

*Boom!* Chen Qiqiang coldly watched the expressionless Qin Yichen as his hand swept through the air. His Yuan Energy palm immediately howled forth, carrying an extremely powerful crushing force as it slammed towards Qin Yichen.

He wanted to utterly shatter Qin Yichen with overwhelming force!

*Bang!* Under this palm strike, Qin Yichen seemed unable to dodge and was hit directly.

Immediately, stones scattered and dust flew up around him.

All around the arena, some sighs could be heard. The youth who they thought might surprise them, was he defeated just like this? It seemed like the gap in cultivation level still could not be bridged. However, reaching this far with just that cultivation level was already impressive enough.

Chen Qiqiang stared at the dust-filled centre, somewhat puzzled. His palm had struck directly at the front, so why had his opponent not been sent flying with blood spurting everywhere? [Has he been knocked to the ground?]

“Hmm?” As Chen Qiqiang pondered, his pupils suddenly contracted. Looking more carefully, he discovered tiny lightning flashes flickering within the residual dust cloud. Vaguely, there seemed to be a tall figure.

“He didn’t get knocked down!”

Seeing that figure in the dust cloud, someone could not help but cry out in surprise.

“Where did this bastard come from!?” Looking at the steady figure in the dust cloud, Chen Qiqiang’s expression finally changed.

Lightning flashed around the Qin Yichen’s body, causing a hint of wariness to appear on Chen Qiqiang’s face.

However, there was still an insurmountable gap between them. Thus, Chen Qiqiang’s gaze turned cold. “I don’t believe you can turn the table on me, you’re still just in the Partially Accomplished Spirit Realm!”

“Heaven Splitting Sword!” Chen Qiqiang’s hand clenched, and his thick Yuan Energy suddenly howled upward, actually forming a huge sword two meters long in his hand, emanating sharp waves of Sword Qi.

“Go!” Chen Qiqiang’s arm swept out, and that huge sword immediately shot forth at high speed, bringing with it ear-piercing wind-cutting sounds as it howled towards Qin Yichen.

Under this huge sword made of Yuan Energy, even the sturdy platform developed a meter-wide gash, showing its immense power.

*Hmph!* Facing this sharp sword strike, Qin Yichen simply snorted coldly as the Lightning Lion Martial Soul appeared behind him. At this moment, the lightning power around him grew even more intense.

The most concentrated area was Qin Yichen’s right arm. His entire right arm was covered in this lightning radiance, and his exposed muscles seemed to be trembling. Clearly, he too was gathering for a powerful attack.
